Red Lobster says Tucker Carlson’s show ‘no longer in line’ with company values, pulls ads

FUCK RED LOBSTER. LET THEM FEEL THE BURN OF ALIENATING AT LEAST 50% OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Red Lobster is pulling advertisements from Tucker Carlson’s prime-time Fox News show amid an ongoing boycott against the conservative host for comments he made about illegal immigration and women’s pay.

Red Lobster’s advertising buying guidelines reflect our core values and commitment to supporting programming that represents the highest standards of good taste, fair practice and objectivity,” the seafood chain said in a statement Tuesday.

“We reserve the right to make changes to our purchases when the dialogue is no longer in line with our criteria,” the company said.

Mr. Tucker sparked outrage last month after he claimed illegal immigration made the U.S. “poorer and dirtier.” More recently, he cast doubt on the claim that higher pay for women is a “victory for feminism.” Activists like ThinkProgress founder Judd Legum renewed the boycott, specifically calling on Red Lobster to pull its ads.

Mr. Carlson has lost more than 20 sponsors since the initial backlash, but due to the timing of Red Lobster’s announcement, the restaurant chain may be the first sponsor to pull ads from the show over the women’s pay comments, The Wrap reported.

A spokesperson for Red Lobster declined to say what prompted the company’s decision, The Wrap reported.

Fox News responded by recycling a statement from last month that attacked “far-left” activist groups for attempting to censor Mr. Carlson.

“We cannot and will not allow voices like Tucker Carlson to be censored by agenda-driven intimidation efforts from the likes of Moveon.org, Media Matters and Sleeping Giants,” Fox News said. “Attempts were made last month to bully and terrorize Tucker and his family at their home. He is now once again being threatened via Twitter by far-left activist groups with deeply political motives. While we do not advocate boycotts, these same groups never target other broadcasters and operate under a grossly hypocritical double standard given their intolerance to all opposing points of view.”

I’ve mentioned the soyboys Version commercial s as well as the Exon Mobil commercial.

How about the Apple Commercial where you can’t decern the carton character s gender?

Think that homo Tim Cook had anything to do with it?

Fuck boycotts. The Yellow Vests are going to pull money from Banks to get Macron to reseign.

We will split are country likewise. 2 banking systems. Let’s see who wins.

I’d boycott Red Lobster, but I’ve already been boycotting them – not for political reasons but because I don’t need 14 garlic cheese biscuits, which is about how many I ate the last time I was there.

I used that link to complain. I had to give them my address and phone #. I didn’t mention that I don’t even have cable TV and haven’t set foot in their restaurant for years. So now I’ll get coupons. Maybe I’ll go if they have an “all you can eat”. I’ll go and eat about $84 worth of shrimp.

You don’t have to give them a real name / address / phone – they ask for First Name / Last Name. I used Dead Lobster for my name – their shit web site took it just fine. Same for 666-6666 for a phone number. Hell find the corporate phone number and stick it in there.

” I’ll go and eat about $84 worth of shrimp.”
Man you are a glutton for punishment. $84 dollars worth from there would be about two thousand dime sized shrimp, with ninty-five percent of it being fried batter. Be sure to put toilet paper on the shopping list.

Pasta & breads = Carbs = Fatass

Add loads of butter & maybe some Alfredo, & it’s a short trip to the floor, on their back, with EMTs hunched over you, revving up the defibrilator.
Blocked arteries & heart disease

Unless if consumed in moderation, and not to an extreme.

Rather some grilled fish and steamed leafy greens and or cruciferous veggies, with a glass of red.
Purchased & prepared at home.
Or organic chicken.
Or grass fed steak.

Good fat reco’s for high HDL:
Avacado, nuts, legumes, EVOO.

Good comment, but may I remind you that real butter and real saturated fats from healthy, organic, grass-fed animals are good for you. How did your ancestors live without getting obese and having many heart attacks and cancer while still eating saturated fats? Because they ate real, healthy food, not today’s crap. Eat like those who lived before your grandparents and you eat well.

Didn’t know that and I’ll let my better half know that because she thinks Olive Garden is great. Everybody, do you realize that 60+ MILLION babies have been MURDERED in our country since January 22, 1973 because of Roe v Wade? I just read a blurb by some legal eagle in the Trump administration saying that he thinks it will be overturned relatively soon because it’s unconstitutional. With Ruth Buzzie Ginsberg fading, the chances are greater than ever. Let us all pray to God that this decision that came straight from the depths of Hell gets overturned.

Here is there complete organization- eat where they don’t bully reporters!
Darden Restaurants, Inc. is an American multi-brand restaurant operator headquartered in Orlando.[4] As of April 2017, the firm owns two fine dining restaurant chains: Eddie V’s Prime Seafood and The Capital Grille; and six casual dining restaurant chains: Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52, Yard House and Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen (the latter having been acquired on April 24, 2017). Until July 28, 2014, Darden also owned Red Lobster. Darden has more than 1,500 restaurant locations and more than 150,000 employees, making it the world’s largest full-service restaurant company.[1] As of 2018, Darden is the only Fortune 500 company with its corporate headquarters in Greater Orlando.[6][7]

This action by Red Lobster pissed me off so much I actually wrote them a nasty note, something I rarely bother to do. Red Lobster (also known as Dead Lobster) is a down-scale seafood joint but serves a reasonable meal for a reasonable price. The morons running the place apparently don´t understand that far more than fifty percent of their customers are deplorable Trump people. I will never go there again and will urge others to avoid it.

There has to be a nation-wide campaign to strike back at the companies which are targeting conservative opinion leaders. These places should be picketed, handbills should be passed out, comments should be posted. A grass-roots effort could have immediate and drastic effects on these companies. It is not enough to boycott them. We must demand that the company officials who make these decisions (you can imagine the kind of people they are) be dismissed.

I suggest picking a few of the companies that have dropped Tucker and concentrate on them. Red Lobster, surely a place with a fairly thin profit margin, would be an excellent place to start. Start posting on You Tube, on other Internet sites and anywhere else you can think of. “No to the Dead Lobster” “Red Lobsters Stink” Fish and Red Lobsters Smell After Three days”

Use your imagination.

Do not ever eat there. Boycott or not. The “seafood” is mostly farm raised in Thailand and Indonesia, shipped overseas frozen and delivered by diesel spewing box trucks. So says my cousin who used to manage one in CA. Kinda like everything else.

remove after cooking and peeling off the shell.
