Amazing that a bimbo like this gins up so much attention. From what I’ve heard from her, she must have been one boring assed bartender.

Yea, but she was good for business (when she wasn’t busy stealing the waitress and waiters tips).

After listening to her for a couple of minutes customers would want to drink more…

Watcha got and where are you?

I’ll put together a list. There are approx. 20-30 tubes. (I think).
Some are still in the chassis, and are of various receiver/amplifiers.
One is an old CRT from an old O-scope. May still have some old Nixie tubes… just have to check.
Currently in NC, Western part.

I used to go to the Reliance factory in Kings Mountain, NC a lot before being thrown under the bus three years ago when business took a downturn.

I had planned to visit a place in the western part of SC that I always thought would be my ‘perfect place’. Travelers Rest, SC. I never could manage the get-a-way from work though.

Wish now that I had ‘made the time’.

Ever been there?

Yes, Travelers Rest is pretty nice. It used to give me the impression of ‘Mayberry’. Lots of transplants now and many developments. It is is rather flat land and a little too close to G’ville SC.
On the upside, it’s close to the mountains and not too far from NC (you could almost spit that far) as well as TN and GA. Don’t get close to ‘Lanta though.
If you go there, I hope you like the color orange; Clemson football is a big deal.

Also, if you have a travel companion (or not) there are some really nice cabins for rent in the mountains. Bring a GPS, but get directions from the owner too, because “ya knowed that ol’ barn that burnt down ’bout ten ta twelve year ago?” is still a common navigation mark. If you ‘make the time’ I’ll buy you a beer.

Maybe I should have been looking a bit further north. Someplace with rolling hills, but not in the mountains themselves…

Rolling hills are more to the north and west into TN towards Knoxville and west. Otherwise, there are the Ozarks ‘cross the Mississippi River. Skip Memphis ans St. Louis ) ‘specially the east side.

It could be that our definitions of rolling hills are different.

Here in Houston/Spring, TX a speed bump is considered a rolling hill…

It’s the only place I know where the elevation is shown twice. Once for high tide and another at low tide.

I lived in Travelers Rest, about two miles from Paris Mountain. I loved it, for the most part.

Lots of trails, mountains etc. within a short drive. Oh yeah, Fuck Clemson.

That creature is a good diversion for Trump’s uselessness. Just another DC bad actor with diarrhea of the mouth.

I find her insanity somewhat refreshing in this insane world.

It certainly isn’t soul-crushing like listening to DRUMPF:

Can’t stand that bug-eyed, buck-toothed, brain-dead, big-mouthed, Bolshevik bitch. Apparently a lot of Dems can’t either as they are talking about doing away with her district in 2020 when the new district boundaries are drawn.

” that bug-eyed, buck-toothed, brain-dead, big-mouthed, Bolshevik bitch”

I showed you comment to the family:
1st response (SO): THAT sentence so nailed it!
2nd response (copy editor daughter): Loved the alliteration!
Me; Good one nkit.

Scary that a waitress this stupid can get elected just by playing the minority card. She’s angry at the world and gonna tear it up and rebuild it at a cost of several quadrillion dollars. No more planes, trains across the oceans, no one has to work but still gets paid, rebuild every building, on and on and on…that must be some really strong weed.
