QUOTE OF THE DAY

“It is to be regretted that the rich and powerful too often bend the acts of government to their own selfish purposes.

There are no necessary evils in government. Its evils exist only in its abuses.”

Nope, government is inherently evil. It can be nothing else, as it is predicated on forced taking for financial support, and uses force to achieve compliance with its edicts. Contrast this with purely voluntary associations of individuals to achieve common goals. Once government exists and has ANY power, others will seek to own and control that power for their own benefit.
