Prelude to a Fiasco

Guest Post by Jim Kunstler

You’d think that Robert Mueller might know what any licensed attorney-at-law in the land tells a client in a tight spot with a lame alibi: better keep you mouth shut. Instead, Mr. Mueller crept Sphinx-like out of the Deep State woodwork on little cat’s paws and in a brief nine minutes blabbed out a set of whopperish riddles much more likely to get himself in trouble than the target of his hinky inquisition.

The key whopper was that he could not make “a determination” on an obstruction-of-justice charge against Mr. Trump because guidance policy from the DOJ’s Office of Legal Counsel had said some years ago that a sitting president can’t be indicted. That is not what he told his boss, Mr. Barr, the Attorney General (and a roomful of the AG’s staffers who heard it), in person when he delivered his final report a few weeks ago.

Upon receipt of that report, Mr. Barr asked the Special Counsel three times whether his inability to conclude anything on an obstruction charge was due to the OLC guidance, and three times Mr. Mueller answered “no.” Mr. Barr relayed this on-the-record in testimony before the House Judiciary Committee and, as averred above, he has plenty of witnesses. It should not be hard to reach a determination on who is telling truth here.

In fact, Mr. Mueller could have declared that he found chargeable obstruction crimes were committed based on the evidence, and also demurred to press them at this time — leaving them available to federal prosecutors until after the president was out of office, one way or another. The reason he didn’t is that Mr. Mueller does not want the case to come to trial, ever, because he would lose badly and his reputation would be destroyed. Consider that in any trial, the defendant gets to call witnesses and make his own case. The evidence for gross prosecutorial misconduct on the part of Mr. Mueller and his associates is mountainous compared to the molehill of Mr. Trump’s temper tantrums over the seditious hoax he was subject to. And that matter is now moving in the direction of adjudication.

So instead, Mr. Mueller has set in motion a potential political crisis as momentous as the Civil War, but completely unlike it. Knowing that congress can impeach the president on just about anything — especially this president, publicly reviled like no other before him — he served congress the platter of material to use in the form of his final report, and pretty much dared them to not go forward with it. Get this: it is a ruse. The object is solely to divert the nation’s attention with an impeachment circus, allowing Mr. Mueller to slip away harmlessly into history without sacrificing his own reputation in a courtroom.

Do you have any idea what a fiasco this set-up is? I will tell you. The US government itself will be discredited and crippled. At one end of Pennsylvania Avenue, you’ll have the impeachment circus in which the misdeeds of the RussiaGate perpetrators will be revealed in all their naked political indecency; and at the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue you’ll have many of the same government officials involved in all that indecency marched into courtrooms to be tried by Mr. Barr’s prosecutors on charges possibly as grave as treason. On the sidelines, you will see something like a fight to the death between the White House and the rogue leviathan that the nation’s “intel community” has grown into — like the ghastly, slime-dripping creature that stowed away on the spaceship Nostromo in the horror movie Alien.

In his farewell performance, Mr. Mueller declared that he considers himself unavailable to testify before congress in whatever proceedings they convene going forward. That’s rich. If you take him at his word, he said that if called, he would simply refer to his 448 report, where all the mysteries of existence may be found — like the Old Testament Yahweh laying his Good Book on the table before the cringing multitudes. It will surely come as a surprise to Mr. Mueller that he is actually not Yahweh with such supreme powers, but a mere mortal who has fucked up mightily in the service of an earthly political conspiracy. In the event, he may find himself citing not his fabulous RussiaGate report, but the Fifth Amendment to the constitution.

That’s what we have to look forward to in the months leading up to the 2020 election, if it can even take place during what may be an epic paralysis of government verging on sickening collapse.

It’s just so bizarre and farcical that words are spent parsing the meaning of obstruction when there’s a fundamental reality that’s known by all of these connivers and ignored/denied by their media spokesmen: A young man, an I.T. guy named Seth Rich, who’d mistakenly placed his faith in the democrat party, leaked DNC emails and was, in response and as a warning to others, murdered. His murder, like that of Antonin Scalia, was ordered by a cabal almost certainly including Hillary Clinton, John Brennan and John Podesta. It was carried out by government employees who still draw a paycheck from the federal government. But yeah, sure, let’s have an impeachment over tweets.

Nothing will happen, lots of smoke and mirrors, sound and fury and then some false flag and all will sink down below the surface of the swamp, ready to rinse and repeat when the time comes.

Sadly, I think that’s the most likely outcome. And opportunities for false flags abound…………….

Spot on analysis, Iska, missing perhaps mention of a most salient feature, one Jim missed as well.
Blackmail.
I cannot see it, or point to it, but the entire edifice reeks of it, just like every fuckin room in Shreveport stinks of rat shit.
It’s in the walls, and it’s endemic.
Modern technology has put the Eye of Sauron, seeing all, into your aforementioned list of cabal minions hands. And they have used it, with such abandon, that we all just quietly accept the lingering stench of balckmail rat shit permeating all governance, from the Chief Justice of The Supreme Court, to former U.S. Presidents, Speakers of House and Senate and anybody and everybody in between.
All blackmailed for heinous shit, that they obviously fear more than any aspect of the legal system including the death penalty.
Welcome to the party and enjoy the show!

I find it beyond comprehension: Muller, an attorney, says he did not find evidence that exonerates Trump.

You can’t prove innocence – you prove guilt. This country is well on it’s way to going down the shit-hole.

Americans will see a two ring circus, Congress and Trump: the Deep State and Useful Idiots vs Truth Justice and the American Way (US Deplorables). Democrats will use every political trick; Trump will fight in Court. Like the OK Corral, both sides will suffer but the Dirty Rotten Democrats will be shooting themselves in their foot and asses. The real Traitors will get exposed. Let the acts begin.

Here’s the part I loved: “The US government itself will be discredited and crippled.” It’s a miserable collection of con artists, liars, power hungry psychos and killers and it can’t die dead enough to please me. Mueller is simply an agent of entropy. Whatever hell it unleashes, at least it will foster, someday, the shot at a moral society not based on force nor the threat thereof.

His statement is the equivalent of saying:

“I’ve failed to find proof of if or when Trump began, and there is insufficient proof as to if or when he stopped, beating his wife.”

I have long stated that all Western (and US) institutions are being destroyed from within.

The US government is literally evaporating before our eyes. Cities (and states) flip the bird to Uncle Sam with “Sanctuary City/State.” Federal district courts place the judge’s WHIM on the back over every American. The nation can’t even stop a bunch of unarmed idiots at the border.

The News Media tossed their own credibility into the trash so completely that thinking people don’t believe a word they say.

Entertainers open their mouths and make us hate them so much that we can’t even watch the sophomoric crap they now crank out.

Doctors and hospitals charge collusive insurers astronomical amounts even as medical misadventure (AKA fuck-ups and incompetence) is at least the 3rd leading cause of death.

Everywhere we look we see the people who own or run (and who are dependent on them for their livelihoods) these institutions literally ruining them.

This is what an accelerating civilization-collapse looks like.

Mr. Kunstler has done pretty neat metamorphosis on himself. Transformed from a fuzzy thinking scribe to a right nasty piece of work. Nice to see, good going, keep it up, might even make room at the table for a beer with you.

You would’ve been right once upon a time Jim, that these villains would get their just desserts. But we’re far, far too gone for that. The DOJ and the legislature are under the control of a Marxist cabal and have been for, I believe, decades. They will not prosecute their own actors. Nobody else can. Thus what we’ve seen for the past two years: A frustrated executive branch losing its temper in frustration over its powerlessness to stop the impending destruction of the greatest country in the world has ever known, and being threatened with impeachment for such an outburst.

That is close, what we are actually seeing is the echoes of the destruction caused by Obama and Hillary, those two created the environment, and started the chain of events that are playing out right now.

The use of MI6 and CIA assets to spy on a candidate, and continue those operations post election in an attempt to unseat a duly elected president.

Now we all know that the our govt. is nothing but an illusion, we understand that all the un-elected officials are the ones who actually move the pieces on the board.

The next election will be the smallest turn out of voters ever, as most decent humans will no longer engage in continuing to support a clearly corrupt government.

This shit WAY predates Obama. Eisenhower warned about them. This isn’t even the first time they’ve tried to get rid of a president. The only reason they’re trying the impeachment thing is probably because going the Lee Harvey Oswald route would seem unimaginative. When the democrat leader of the senate warns the president about the intelligence community on live TV, we’ve gone around the bend.

We still have this ridiculous notion of obstructing investigation of a crime that never happened along with not investigating the crimes (Hitlary, DOJ) which did occur. The only thing that would make me happier than being part of the firing squad for these asshats would be to watch him try to explain to the Senate why he never investigated where the charges against Trump and campaign associates came from. Then explain why he investigated taxi medallions in NYC as opposed to investigating illegal surveillance, entrapment, etc. by the DOJ and intel agencies.

Perfectly summarized.
Beyond this, take the spotlight off the criminals gang. – Clinton and Obongo. Funny how a dossier paid for the b team can be ever accepted as proof of anything. A solution as good as ‘ it depends on what your meaning of the word is – is’

The rate at which the U.S.’s societal collapse continues to unfold before our very eyes is increasing exponentially on an almost daily basis. Because, have no doubt, what everyone is currently witnessing constitutes the exact definition of what societal collapse represents. There is not one American institution extant that hasn’t been tarnished …if not already rendered completely ineffectual ..by either corruption, political infighting, sheer incompetence, outright criminality or a smorgasbord combination of all the aforementioned.

The prognosis is quite clear. That things will turn ugly (-er) is not a prediction, it is a certainty. The president of the United States is clearly no longer in control of his own nation. The judiciary is no longer functional. The educational system has collapsed under the sheer weight of its own rampant stupidity. The legislative branch (or chamber, according to AOC) is unrepairable. The intelligence agencies are in frank rebellion. The police and other security services are completely out of control and unaccountable to anyone. The so-called health care system is a cruel joke. The infrastructure is crumbling. But hey, at least we have diversity, huh? Too bad that diversity seems to consist only in our plethora of crises.

Add to all this the sad fact that most millennials are much more concerned with fostering Identity Politics and complaining about how badly Game of Thrones ended only guarantees an inevitably negative outcome coming up just around the bend. Whether that negative outcome will consist of armed civil conflict (aka civil war), a Venezuelan-like economic collapse, a withering Police State or a combination of all the above is the only thing that remains to be seen.

I don’t know about you but I ain’t planning on sticking around to see it.
