The Real Winner Of Last Night’s Democratic Debate

Via ZeroHedge

While it would appear that the mainstream media has crowned Senator Elizabeth Warren the winner of last night’s first Democratic primary debate, on a more quantitative and objective level, it would seem there was another female candidate that stood out to the American audience.

Before the debate, Warren was indeed the ‘most-searched’ Democratic candidate on Google…

But as the debate began and the clown-show escalated, one candidate dominated the search…

As Fox News reports, Tulsi Gabbard, an Army National Guard veteran who served in Iraq, grabbed the attention of the viewers every time she spoke about foreign policy and the military.

During the debate, she called for scaling back of U.S. military presence abroad and accused “this president and his chicken hawk cabinet have led us to the brink of war with Iran.”

Gabbard’s military experience gave her authority in a harsh exchange with Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan, who said the U.S. must maintain forces in Afghanistan to ensure the Taliban is kept in check.

“When we weren’t in there, they started flying planes into our buildings,” Ryan said.

“The Taliban didn’t attack us on 9/11, Al Qaeda attacked us on 9/11,” Gabbard replied.

The data show that the moment that generated the most search traffic for Gabbard was when she was making her closing argument.

As @Abu_Faris noted so succinctly:

“Assuming the Google “trend” isn’t a manifestation of their algorithms then it appears that most adults are interested in a calm, stoic, but non-clown like candidate”

Of course, there is another explanation

Of course, the left immediately jumped, blaming the Russians for Gabbard’s surge in search interest…

Gabbard’s response…

Finally, in a post-debate spin-room exchange with Breitbart News editor-at-large Joel Pollak, Gabbard explained why she is “the most qualified” to become commander-in-chief…

“Of all the candidates who are running for president, I’m the one who is most qualified to fulfill that responsibility to walk into the Oval Office and serve as commander-in-chief. And I think you heard tonight some of the reasons why those who lack the experience, lack the understanding, and conviction would, unfortunately, put our country in a place where we’d end up waging more wars, costing us more lives and tax-payer dollars. This is why I’m running for president, to be that person, to be that change in our foreign policy and those regime-change wars, new cold wars nuclear arms races and invest our precious dollars into serving the needs of our people.

Over the next week, I’ll be seeing my siblings including my super lib brother and his super lib wife. I’ll tell them that I might well vote for Gabbard over Trump. Of course, she’ll never be the nominee.

I will not vote for her, but I recognize that she’s the least problematic candidate. I respect and agree with her antiwar stance. Unfortunately, as you said, she’ll never be the nominee. The Democratic establishment which cheated Bernie Sanders will never allow her to represent the Democratic Party come November 2020.

Good, this is very good, I would enjoy watching Gabbard vs Trump in a debate, and as presidential contenders. She is nice to look at, and is not a shrill like the rest of the pack.

If the stock market begins to decline, then so will Trumps appeal to the masses, he has already lost most of his base, because he became a politician when he reneged on all his campaign promises.

Unfortunately, a new leader will not change the course we are on, our country has been sold to special interest groups, lobbyist, and, huge global corporations. Politicians are merely grifters looking to get their pockets lined, (why do you think there are so many candidates on the left? they all walk away with large piles of $$ for future campaigning)

I blame it all on Obombya, followed by GW, then Clinton, then GHWB, Rayguns, Carter, the stumbler (can’t think of his name), then I am not a crook Nixon, and finally, Lyndon the asshole Johnson, who was probably in on the whole JFK caper. (these represent my time on the planet) feel free to add more, there are plenty more.

Your last paragraph is key. Eisenhower probably did something wrong, although I don’t know what. Truman, former shabbas goy, gave the world the state of Israel. FDR did so much wrong we could be here all day talking about it. Most of them were deeply flawed. And yet somewhere around 60% of eligible voters vote, since it doesn’t take much effort and it’s their chance to exert what little influence they have in choosing the lesser of evils. Trying to slow our decline isn’t wholly without value, especially if you can do it in 20 minutes. If the elites thought voting didn’t matter, they wouldn’t spend billions trying to sway voters. I don’t think Trump has lost most of his base, if by “base” we mean his 2016 votes. He’s lost some, but he’s supposedly gained others. The battle will be between the forty-five yards lines, and – like last time – will probably be more about who you’re voting against than who you’re voting for. If you vote, that is. If you don’t, just remember that your non-voting is also something that puts a smile on the face of evil fuckers.

Gabbard is actually anti-war. she’s the only person in Congress who actually took the time to visit Syria, talk to Syrians, & even meet with Assad in the service of reaching an understanding that didn’t involve wiping Syria off the map. that counts for a lot. of course she’s been savaged for it ever since by the bloodthirsty pet hounds of the ziofascist media, *but*…
also she’s not a socialist, not sure where that comes from. even Sanders the “democratic socialist” isn’t a socialist.

Antiwar? Hardly. She voices opinions about which war is not worth fighting not that war itself is immoral.

My point is that she favors ever growing government. I agree that doesn’t fit the classical definition of socialism but that’s now the vernacular.

My bigger point is that although Americans, whenever given the choice, always vote for the peace candidate, it doesn’t flipping matter. Although there is some scintilla of goodness for the inclination to go hesitantly into the next slaughter of innocents, I’ll be damned if I’ll support it.

Tulsi is also no friend of the 2nd Amendment, seeking to ban semi-automatic weapons, high capacity magazines, “universal” background checks and on and on. Her voting record on gun rights is beyond dismal. That makes her a no-go in my book.

The only one on the Dem side I can tolerate at all is Gabbard. She is genuinely anti-war, BUT she is still all on board the killing of babies, killing of the 2nd ammendment and all the other garbage the Demo-Commies talk about. So even if she was the nominee she isn’t very far apart from Spartacus and the pretend Native American. So she seems a bit less insane, and when she speaks she seems normal enough, yet she clings to the same policy positions they do. She no longer supports restrictions on abortions and she is all in on 9month abortions, if the mother is feeling cranky. Her plans include massive give aways of the debt ridden US Titanic. I would rather have more years to try and create a lifeboat, or at minimum enjoy my time with those I love then be forced off the US Titanic’s plank by gunpoint b/c I’m not subservient to the perverts and control freaks from the big cities.

All true, but you can tell libs that you’d vote for her, secure in the knowledge that you won’t have to. Then watch them have a brain freeze. It’s like offering a team of nine year old soccer players $50 to anyone who scores a goal with a header. Your $50 is safe.

The House is working on passing a bill to give over four billion dollars to help take care of the illegal kids crossing the border. Let that sink in for a minute. Over four billion for illegal aliens, money that will HELP them continue the invasion and not one penny for veterans, the homeless, or school systems and hospitals overburdened and going broke due to illegals not paying taxes or bills, nope, all the Democrats care about are illegal aliens…screw Citizens, take from citizens and give to illegal invaders….

It’s hilarious to me that they talk about raising revenues which just means more taxes for us. Or one of them talked about returning a small dividend meaning returning a few cents of our own money. These people are funny if it wasn’t so insane.

The selection is already made; it’s a foregone conclusion: Unkle Joe Biden and A(u)nti Kamala Harris in 2020.

All of the contestant clowns will be on “the hustings” away from their daytime jobs ensuring that The Lumpen get to hear what they have been waiting to hear. Orange Man BAD. Abortion good. Immigration good. Free shit good. Education good, healthcare good. Etc. Ad nauseum.

The debates are just part of the clown show under the big top of controlled media and politics.

Joe doesn’t make it the whole first term and Harris gets two and a half terms to complete the transformation of the former U.S.A. into the United Socialist States of Amerika.

But no matter under any circumstance: the two running for president get a Zapruder Briefing so everything proceeds (NWO) as planned.

I’m betting on Biden as the sock puppet and whoever is the veep candidate as the one to watch, although I don’t believe team dem will win the general election. If it does, I’ll then become very concerned about the longer term viability of the USA as I knew it.

I sense in Gabbard a quality of centeredness. How she maintains this in light of her obviously political flip on the homosexual subject I’m not sure. Genuinely changed her mind? Very good liar? Doesn’t care a bit? Psychopath?

Nevertheless, her presentation was less lunatic than any of the others except the bald round headed guy whose name escapes me. Gabbard’s current problem is the lunatics are running the party and if they hold, they will ensure the nomination goes to a fellow loony.

Yeah, its truly crazy at this point. It’s one upmanship, 26 week abortion, I’ll raise you a abort right up to birth. Oh yeah, I’ll raise you a friendly humane killing up to 48hrs after birth. Same things with guns, they went from poorly named “assault rifles” to semi-automatics. These fucking idiots likely have no clue that it means 80% of guns, including lots of basic hunting guns. Then they add a detachable magazine, and then you get rid of all kinds of bolt action guns as well that take magazines but aren’t semi-automatic. So they can see who can be a worse authoritarian, swat raid all gun owners, or just fucking nuke the hinterlands Salwell style? They go from respecting Trans folks rights, to preaching it in the schools and giving hormones to children without parental consent–which definitively damage their bodies/brains. They are truly apeshit crazy at this point. Free college for some, no not good enough “free” for everyone, plus all illegals as well. How about they pay you a “living wage” to go to college, and give you paid leave time for stress due to taking tests or having to study. I can barely tolerate listening to any of these crazy people. I really don’t care for listening to Trump either, yet he is like music to my ears most of the time compared to these other fake give away whatever is left from bankrupt US Inc.
