Watch the movie “The Death Of Stalin”. When I first saw it it seemed almost like a Monty Python bit (actually, Michael Palin does play Molotov, but plays it straight (I think)).. When I watched it again I thought although a lot of artistic license was probably taken it could have very much been on the mark.
The endless posturing, back biting, scheming, treachery seems part and parcel of socialism.
