The Odor of Desperation

Guest Post by Jim Kunstler

The swamp abides. The latest news media dumpster fire over President Trump’s phone conversation with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky is a three-way ruse. Ruse 1: deflect attention from the main issue, which is Joe Biden’s trolling for payoffs on his missions to foreign lands as vice-president, first Ukraine, where son Hunter was gifted a board of director’s chair and $50K-a-month salary with Ukrainian gas company Burisma, and then a $1.5 billion “private equity investment” to Hunter Biden’s wealth management fund from the state-owned Bank of China. Ruse 2: to deflect attention from the damage soon to be inflicted on the Deep State by the forthcoming DOJ Inspector General’s report on FISA court abuses. Ruse 3. To set in motion yet another obstruction of justice trap for Mr. Trump on the basis of false charges.

This comes at the instigation of Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson, who was formerly senior legal counsel to John Carlin head of the National Security Division of the Department of Justice, deeply implicated in the FISA court matters of 2016 under investigation by federal prosecutor John Durham.  Mr. Atkinson cited a complaint by an unnamed whistleblower who claims to have heard from a source that the President offered a quid pro quo to Ukrainian President Zelensky for reopening the Burisma case. The “whistleblower” may be Mr. Atkinson himself.

Of course, gaffe-prone Joe Biden spilled the beans on video earlier this year, when he bragged about shaking down Ukraine’s then-president Petro Poroshenko over a billion-dollar loan guarantee unless he fired the prosecutor investigating Burisma, which he did. Is there any ambiguity here?

The coordination between the news media and the Deep State is impressively blatant in this new gambit, with former acting FBI director Andrew McCabe (dismissed for cause in 2018), in his new position as a CNN “contributor” (while awaiting prosecution) teeing up a new “Trump collusion” narrative with The New York Times, WashPost, and NBC marching in step. In this new age of disinformation, narratives are the political weapon of choice in the campaign to harass and disable the winner of the 2016 election. The big play of RussiaGate failed, the play of “racism” is failing, so UkraineGate is next up.

It’s also obviously an effort to reenergize the impeachment operation in congress, badly botched so far by Jerold Nadler’s House Judiciary Committee. But it’s hard to imagine a better entertainment than an impeachment of Donald Trump in congress. Unless the Deep State wants to throw former President Obama under the bus, along with dozens of his associates (including Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Biden), they might be advised to call off that circus. A trial in the Senate, where the GOP runs the proceedings, would be an even better table-turner than the rousing climax of Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

I have a new theory about where the 2020 election is heading: if the Democratic Party candidate happens to lose, the party’s lawyers will unleash a blizzard of litigation in every voting district where the outcome was a couple of thousand ballots against them. It will be the 2000 “hanging chad” fracas on steroids and they will go so far as render the election inconclusive, therefore provoking the most parlous constitutional crisis since the start of the Civil War. In other words, they will dare to disable the republic.

Something or somebody will have to put a stop to these seditious turpitudes. The machinery of the law must be turned on the “resistance” and its operatives in the Deep State. Mr. Barr has the opportunity to do that. A globe of silence has enclosed his doings for many months. Impatient observers jump to the conclusion that the silence means he is doing nothing. I am not so sure of that. Given the purposeful hysteria ginned up so dishonestly in the press — and so injuriously to the actual public interest — don’t you suppose he would want to avoid tossing dynamite into that dumpster fire? By the same token, those actively stoking the dumpster fire are revealing their utter desperation. The unexpected consequence will be the suicide of the Democratic Party. But then people don’t necessarily get what they expect, they get what they deserve.

The current misdirect outrage spin, explained as succinctly as possible.

To platform monkeys, easily recognized and clearly understandable.

At the risk of seeing the all-hope-is-lost words of the regular cynics and scrooges herein, the post can be used to reveal the current shitshow, in a nutshell, that is being trumpeted out by the MSM, to educate the dont-give-a-shit legion that’s preoccupied with the NFL, NCAA, and winterizing the cabin up north, or the lawn mowers in northern climate zones across the US and Canuckistan, before Autumn runs its course and Old Man Winter comes blowing through. It won’t be long. Soon.

Run a print of JKs words, and give a copy to a university student with brains to think for themselves.

Better yet, to a few millennials who actually hold down a job, and aren’t living in Mom’s basement.

Some eyes and minds might be opened.

Or, just send along the link to JK’s work here on TBP.

Just send it out there, man.
Ya never know who is ripe for an epiphany. (def. 2)

AG Barr can do what? Are you shitting me?

The FBI-DOJ was proven to be burying various Americans in shallow graves for the last 40 years with a little help from their friends in Boston like Mueller, Whitey, and the rest of the mobsters, fixers, and assassins.

Does everyone forget 2000-2012?

Surely beaten souls have prayed since 33 AD and we are still waiting on redemption. Those bones nearly 2000 years old of people who thought praying and eventual justice would come are still waiting. I want to see it in my life not have some belief it may occur in an afterlife. We Christians believe in Heaven just as much as Muslims getting 33 virgins. How do we know of either? Faith? There must be some semblance of fact for faith to be real. God has not directly shown us much reason to have faith for even his pope today is blasphemous. Sheep pray. Sheep pretend to believe these evil bastards will get their due in afterlife. Because she are too fucking scared to do anything about anything but live in cognitive dissonance so they can feel avenged without having to upset their life’s applecart. Sheep get what they deserve in this and next lives.

What if you are standing at the pearly gates and God asks you a series of questions:
-I allowed your peers to provide you a Constitution and Bill of Rights and you did nothing to stop evil.
-I allowed you full understanding of who was doing evil and you only gave $5, once, to charity to stop African Dictators.
-I gave you a conscience and you ignored it
-I gave you testaments and rules and you ignored them (eye for an eye)
-I gave you everything you needed to prove you are a worthy soldier for my cause and you did nothing.

I will now make you live as a sheep, wool and all, since that is how you have lived your entire life. Sheep don’t go to heaven……they get trimmed often and eventually barbecued.

JHK says:

I have a new theory about where the 2020 election is heading: if the Democratic Party candidate happens to lose, the party’s lawyers will unleash a blizzard of litigation in every voting district where the outcome was a couple of thousand ballots against them. It will be the 2000 “hanging chad” fracas on steroids and they will go so far as render the election inconclusive, therefore provoking the most parlous constitutional crisis since the start of the Civil War. In other words, they will dare to disable the republic.

And that is, indeed, an interesting theory that could, in fact, come to pass.

Or it’s possible, if the bankers don’t pull the plug on the economy before the 2020 election, that support for Trump will pull previous non-voters out of the woodwork in record numbers to the point where there won’t be any “too close to call” districts; especially considering the elderly Caucasian collectivist clowns currently leading the Democratic primaries (i.e. Groping Joe Biden, Lieawatha Warren, & Bernie Claus).

But, on the other hand, if the bankers don’t pull the plug on the economy before the 2020 election, what does that say about Trump? Wouldn’t that imply that he was the establishment’s Trojan Horse choice all along?

Or, maybe the economy will be flushed and Trump will, in turn, continue to blame the Fed enough to squeak by a win over the DNC’s vision of Clownworld – to which JHK’s above theory could come into play; which could still be the preconceived plan of the Dark Powers toward their end-goal of American decline.

Or, it’s possible my scenarios above are assigning way too much intelligence onto America’s body politic – which should probably never be overestimated.

And here’s just one reason why: This Biden / Ukraine treachery has been known by anyone with a computer, an internet connection, and a modicum of curiosity, for many years now.

Including, yours truly, a true nobody who wrote about some of this bullshit near 2.5 years ago. And, if I (and others) knew it back then – well – then that should remove any doubt in anyone’s mind as to the complicity of the mainstream media in these nefarious affairs (especially now):

“Dogs of War: Fight to the Death”

In November of 2013 when, Ukraine’s President Viktor Yanukovych abandoned an agreement on closer trade ties with the European Union and, instead, sought closer co-operation with Russia, it began a series of events which then transitioned into the natural gas wars of 2014, and the Ukrainian coup in February, 2014 during the winter Olympics of that year.

This all, in turn, caused Russia to make the decision to annex Crimea in March 2014. Then, Russia signed a $400 billion “Holy Grail” gas deal with China in May and this gave the Petrodollar a nice kick in the nuts.

In June of that year, Ukraine, at the behest of the Western globalists, refused to pay its gas bill to Moscow’s Gazprom, so Russia cut off their gas. Soon after that MH17 was shot out of the sky and Joe Biden’s son’s company began preparing to drill for shale gas in eastern Ukraine.

It’s not really old news, most people aren’t aware of the shenanigans that went on the Ukraine since most was suppressed to cover for the coup engendered by Nuland and the State Department et al. In actual fact, very few were made aware of Hunter and his connections, nor were too many made aware of how Hunter is tied to John Kerry, Whitey Bulger’s nephew and how Ukraine was just one of several forays into the world of political graft.

The events in the Ukraine happened 2013/2014, why were you posting about the same story 2.5 years ago? What happened two and a half years ago?

Hunter Biden’s China Connections

March 16, 2018 by Jeff Carlson, CFA

My frustration is not that the reporting on Trump has been too tough, but that the reporting on the Obama administration has been way too soft or in some cases nonexistent. – Peter Schweizer

In December of 2013, Vice President Biden and his son Hunter Biden flew to China on Air Force Two.

Ten days after the trip, a subsidiary of the Bank of China signed a deal with Hunter Biden’s investment firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners, to form a $1 billion joint-venture investment fund called Bohai Harvest RST.

The deal was later increased to $1.5 billion.

Rosemont Seneca Partners is an investment LLC under the ownership umbrella of Rosemont Capital.

Unlike most financial firms, Rosemont is headquartered in Washington DC.

Rosemont Capital, formed in 2009, is controlled by Hunter Biden and Christopher Heinz, the stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry.

Also involved is Devon Archer, a longtime Heinz and Kerry friend. Archer was a fundraiser for Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign.

A third partner in the China deal was the Thornton Group – headed by Whitey Bulger’s nephew, James Bulger.

The information was revealed in Peter Schweizer’s new book, Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends.

MG,

The “Dogs” article from April 2017 was written and posted just hours before Trump bombed Syria for the first time. In my heart of hearts I was hoping for a miracle that Trump would realize the widespread support for NOT bombing Syria; just before the 59 Tomahawks were set loose, of course.

Anyway, that was my focus.

Rosemont’s deal with the Bank of China was, indeed, old news since it occurred in Dec, 2013 or a month after Viktor Yanukovych abandoned his agreement with EU in favor of the Russkies. And Peter Schweizer did write about it in his 2015 book “Clinton Cash”.

Somehow I doubt any prosecutions will ever arise because of Bohai Harvest RST as most people would just call it globalism – In spite of Hunter Biden’s dad being the Vice-President of the United States at the time.

No, I suspect old Joe will continue to diminish in the polls before he is finally set to pasture for a quiet life of luxury and honor for his service to our nation.

And you can very likely bank on that.

Biden is senile, gaffe prone and old. No one in their right mind considers him a contender. (note the ‘right mind’ disclaimer) All of this is essentially ‘old’ news except that most people are not aware of how deep the graft goes. This whistle blower business has caused a spotlight to shine on areas that certain people had hoped would remain in the dark. Old news is still news worth examining, especially when you consider what happened as a result of events in that old news cycle.
How many people died during that ‘old news’ event? Who was deeply enriched from those old news events and how are they doing today? I suppose it galls me to see the career politicians and their offspring getting and staying rich from events like this:

Count on the Dhimmicrats to do something evil and destructive whether they win or lose. We know the plan was to go full police state if Hillary won. Why would they attempt anything different this time? Trump’s victory made it beyond apparent that there is a malign Deep State. He and hopefully we will continue to fight it and expose it. Democrats would just sit back and let them roll as long as they get to steal and shove all their stupid ideas up everybody’s ass. Beating Democrats is no longer enough with what we now know. Kunstler is very good in this piece, this theory of a post-partum tantrum on steroids is probably something he overheard from someone in the DNC.

There is only one observation: who fucking cares?
the foreign policy never changes, regardless of who is in office, and from this point forwards, it seem like all domestic policy will also be “un-done” be the next clown.

The entire apparatus is now open for all to see, and all we see is corrupt self serving politicians doing the bidding of corporations and lobbyist. No one is representing the public, and if past has any indication of future behavior, nothing will be changing in our lifetime.

All we can hope for is to have a party every time one of these goat roper’s dies, knowing that their souls will extinguished for eternity, and their ill will is immortalized by the trail of idiotic legislation they passed.
