LET THEM GO AHEAD AND IMPEACH TRUMP…. HERE’S WHAT HAPPENS THEN……

I have a degree in Political Science, and I am a card-carrying
Libertarian. I’ve been studying politics and political history for the
past 30 years. My specialty is U.S. Presidents. That said, I hope that
the House of Representatives impeaches Trump. Let me tell you what will happen next!

1. The House can pass articles of impeachment over the objections of the
Republicans, and refer to the Senate for trial.

2. The Senate will conduct a trial. There will be a vote, and the
Republicans will vote unanimously, along with a small number of
Democrats, to not convict the President. Legally, it will all be over
at that point.

3. However, during the trial, and this is what no one is thinking
about right now, the President’s attorneys will have the right to
subpoena and question ANYONE THEY WANT.. That is different than the special counsel investigation, which was very one-sided.
So, during the impeachment trial, we will be hearing testimony from James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, Glenn Simpson, Donna Brazile, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Christopher Steele, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Clapper, and a whole host of other participants in this whole sordid affair and the ensuing cover up activities. A lot of dirt will
be dug up; a lot of truth will be unveiled. Finger pointing will
occur. Deals will start being made, and suddenly, a lot of democrats
will start being charged and going to prison.

All this, because, remember, the President’s team will now, for the
first time, have the RIGHT to question all of these people under oath
– and they will turn on each other. That is already starting.

4. Lastly, one more thing will happen, the Senate will not convict the
President. Nothing will happen to Trump. Most Americans are clueless
about political processes, the law, and the Constitution. Most
Americans believe that being impeached results in removal from office.
They don’t understand that phase 2 is a trial in and by the Senate,
where he has zero chance of conviction. Remember, the Senate is
controlled by Republicans; they will determine what testimony is
allowed — and **everything** will be allowed, including: DNC
collusion with the Clinton campaign to fix the election in favor of
Hillary, the creation of the Trump dossier, the cover up and
destruction of emails that very likely included incriminating
information.

They will incriminate each other for lying to the FISA
court, for spying and wiretapping the Trump campaign, and for
colluding with foreign political actors, especially George Soros.
After the Senate declines to convict the President, we will have an
election, and Trump will win. It will be a backlash against democrat
petulance, temper tantrums, hypocrisy and dishonesty. Even minorities
will vote for Trump, because, for the first time, they will see that
democrats have spent 2+ years focused on maintaining their own power,
and not doing anything at all about black murders in Chicago,
homelessness, opioids, and other important issues that are actually
killing people. And, we will spend the following four years listening
to politicians and pundits claim that the whole impeachment was
rigged.

So let’s move on to impeachment.

Great points, except that the Democrats and deep state control the media, so they will cover up most of the damning revelations coming from the Senate hearings, and magnify anything damaging to the president. The impeachment proceedings will likely help fire up Trump supporters and opponents alike. They’ll each listen only to what they want to hear, but the supporters won’t hear much and the opponents will hear plenty supporting their biases from the MSM. Whether it has much of an effect on the election is open to question.

We’ve been reading for two years now how all the bad guys listed in the account above were just about to face justice, and nothing has happened. At this point I’ll be shocked if anyone important is charged. A low-level flunky or two, yes; Obama, Clinton, Lynch, Holder, never.

There are Senate Republicans who would be inclined to vote guilty, but 16? And do we assume Trump will do nothing to fight back or create some heavy incentive for Senate Repubs to support him? There are 47 Dems in the Senate. They’d need 20 Republicans. Not at all out of the question. Start with the 8 on the SSCI https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Senate_Select_Committee_on_Intelligence add in Romney and a couple other fegulas and you’re halfway there. And that’s before the CIA starts leaning on the rest, threatening their families and threatening to release any incriminating shit they’ve collected via the NSA. Hell, with the right pressure applied, they could probably get a unanimous conviction 100-0.

The idea that Senate Republicans will support Trump is wishful thinking. Senate Republicans will do (and only do) what is best for themselves….fuck Trump, the country, constitution etc.

My own take on this impeachment nonsense is that it’s being used as a distraction to cover for Biden and Obama and some others who were in on the Ukrainian coup. Remember Victoria Nuland handing out cookies and telling those in that ‘fuck the EU” phone call that she had all the players lined up to take over key positions once the coup was complete. Biden made out like a bandit as did his son, Snorty McCoke Face along with many other business men and politicians.

Barr needs to be neutered as well in his investigations. Both Trump and Barr are going to be discredited, neutered and rendered impotent via the media’s public opinion slander. the lies and innuendo are already thick at this point and the NYT along with all the other major media are telling outright lies because they realize most people only hear what’s said without bothering to do research.

As to impeachment….the dems have been screeching about that since day one, that’s ALL they do except when they’re padding their pockets via campaign fund fraud and pay-for-play schemes while deifying illegals and promising free shit out the wazoo.

When all is said and done, the dems will go ahead with the impeachment hearings and trials, these are show trials and the braindead American public will swallow whatever bullshit the media feeds them. It’s a toss up as to what the republicans will do, all I know is that IF they do indeed impeach Trump all hell will break loose in flyover country. I like your recon reports into the enemy camps.

At some point towards the last year of Obama’s first term I went on his web site and pretended to be a potential swing, undecided (registered independent) vote…which actually I have been since 1971.

Man, they were all over me. Personal e-mails and calls. Once they figured out exactly who I was (I gave them real data – I was mole mark) I figured out they assigned me a white handler, close to my age.

I got into lengthy conversations with the individual assigned to do the beginning of the ‘FLIP’ – build rapport.

His mission…convince me to vote for the greatest Trojan Horse in the history of the world.

My mission…find out what they were saying to get so many people to vote for Barry the Bait.

I eventually found out as much about my handler as he knew about me. He was a white liberal a decade younger than me, a sharp guy in some ways who had gotten cleaned out in the recession. A man who had gulped a picture of the Obama Kool aid. When I pressed him why he was calling me and working for Obama it actually was…wait for it…CHANGE!

Eventually, he realized I was trying to convince him who Obama really was and I was wasting his time, and the Petulant One’s resources.

It was a good run in the respect of understanding my enemy and how they swayed so many American weeping willow trees in their Marxist (technology supported) breeze. Personal phone calls with data on who you were.

Oh yea, when I get political surveys on the phone I always push the buttons as a 34 year old black woman who is a registered independent (independents are golden as THEY CAN BE SWAYED!) but I always give right of center answers. Jut to muck up the BS polls even more.

another off topic comment but the female cop in dallas who went into the wrong apt & shot the black guy last year was just convicted of murder–she faces 5-99 years–
my prediction is she wins on appeal b/c the lead investigator was questioned by the judge outside the presence of the jury & he stated that he believed that she was not guilty b/c the layout of the complex is confusing & she really believed that she was in her own apt–the judge then refused to allow him to say that to the jury–

It’s not the job of a lead investigator to decide the guilt of the accused. Not passing on his irrelevant commentary to the jury is no basis for an appeal – in my esteemed opinion as someone who once took the LSAT and thought about going to law school.

i’m not even as much as an atty as you iska but to you & farmer,when the lead investigator is not allowed to say if asked that he would not have recommended charges ,i suspect that that’s the basis 4 a new trial being ordered–if a new jury convicts him,it removes the taint–i agree it should be manslaughter,which is another reason 4 an appeal–
while the da will make the final call as to charging,in big city pd s i suspect that it’s rare 4 charges to be filed when experienced homicide detectives are against it–

They could be granted limited, conditional immunity for anything they testify to – which would negate their Fifth Amendment right to not incriminate themselves. Theoretically you could immunize a few of the lower level ones in order to go after the big fish: Brennan and Obama.
Of course “theoretically” means not in the real world.

4. However, during the trial, and this is what no one is thinking about right now, the President’s attorneys will have the right to subpoena and question ANYONE THEY WANT.. That is different than the special counsel
investigation, which was very one-sided.
So, during the impeachment trial, we will be hearing testimony from James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, Glenn Simpson, Donna Brazile, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch,
Christopher Steele, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Clapper, and a whole host of other participants.
A lot of dirt will be dug up; a lot of truth will be unveiled. Finger pointing will occur. Deals will start being made, and suddenly, a lot of democrats will start being charged and going to prison.
All this, because, remember, the President’s team will now, for the first time, have the RIGHT to question all of these people under oath – and they will turn on each other. That is already starting.
5. Lastly, one more thing will happen, the Senate will not convict the President. Nothing will happen to Trump.
Most Americans are clueless about political processes, the law, and the Constitution.
Most Americans believe that being impeached results in removal from office.
They don’t understand that phase 2 is a trial in and by the Senate, where he has zero chance of conviction as Q has stated.
**Remember, the Senate is controlled by Republicans; they will determine what testimony is allowed, and EVERYTHING will be allowed, including: DNC collusion
with the Clinton campaign to fix the election in favor of Hillary, the creation of the Trump dossier, the cover up and destruction of emails that very likely included incriminating information. They will incriminate each other for lying to the FISA court, for spying and wiretapping the Trump campaign, and for colluding with foreign political actors, especially George Soros.
After the Senate declines to convict thePresident, we will have an election, and Trump will win. It will be a backlash against democrat petulance, temper tantrums, hypocrisy and dishonesty.

Even minorities will vote for Trump, because, for the first time, they will see that democrats have spent 2+ years focused on maintaining their own power, and not doing anything else.

About 4 million less than Marner…. wow! These guys must like playing in Tampa Bay…. still going to be up against the cap next year or two with Sergachev and few others. But going forward the team is looking strong… might have to make a trip down and watch some games.. It is cheaper to get on a plane and watch my Habs there than to go to Montreal and watch them play at the Bell… crazy eh!
