During a television appearance, a New Jersey gender studies professor claimed that Donald Trump’s policies were to blame for black female obesity.
“I hate when people talk about Black women being obese. I hate it, because it becomes a way to blame us for a set of conditions that we didn’t create,” said Brittney Cooper during a discussion on ‘Black Women OWN the Conversation’, which is broadcast on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
“We are living in the Trump era,” the professor added. “And look, those policies kill our people. You can’t get access to good health care, good insurance.”

Presumably, she believes there were no black obese women before Trump was elected.
Cooper then went on to assert that it’s harder for black women to lose weight than white women because they are more stressed about racism and it slows down their metabolism.
Yes, really.
“It’s literally that the racism that you’re experiencing and the struggle to make ends meet actually means the diet don’t work for you the same,” she claimed.
Now a generation of clinically obese black women can just blame racism for their inability to lose weight and continue stuffing their faces with cake.

The media and internet are constantly giving these nut cases a voice. They do it, to get attention and hopefully ad revenue. It’s killing common sense, causing interference about serious issues, and dumbing down the masses. I can’t wait for this shit show to go down the toilet – where it belongs.

I live in the diversity capital of New Jersey-Franklin twp. in Somerset County which is much too close to Rutgers.
We call these creatures pork chop ass. The demographics of our wonderful high school 2300 students reflects the rest of the schools here in a twp. of 65,000. 14% asian, 41% black, 31% hispanic and 14% white.
Most of the white parents wait until it’s time for Middle School and leave for whiter pastures.
Watch them move around, when they do, and you will see super slow motion. Even a lot of their kids don’t seem to have any energy.
The young boys learn at an early age to run like the cops are after you. and tend to be slimmer.
It is one thing to espouse a “line of bull sh*t” but it is a completely different case to believe your own “line of bullsh*t”…..

This female is looking to make a name for herself by being permanently aggrieved and victimized. An associate professor in Gender and African studies, so essentially nothing degrees that confer no benefit to society, are easy to acquire and have no real purpose or meaning. Gender studies is essentially about being permanently pissed off because society doesn’t really give a shit about some queer, fat, black and mouthy professional victim.

Another “professor of bullshit” stealing what is basically the time and dime of the US taxpayer. As said in another comment post, if these candidates for reeducation at the end of a 2×4 to the head, had to do these said “studies” on their own time and dime, you would hear crickets chirping.
Yes, it’s all such a tragedy. I distinctly remember four years ago when all black women between the ages of 18 and 50 were about the size of the average Victorias Secret model. Damn shame that the mental stress caused by the current administration has made nearly all of them gain about 150 pounds by stress eating fast food and sugary sodas multiple times a day.

err….I can remember the final days of the Jim Crow south….not nearly as many fat mammies back then (Aunt Jemima being the obvious exception)….and we all ate the same greasy pork chops, fried hominy, fried okra, collard and mustard greens with pork fat and of course cornbread and sweet tea……Imagine we were eating that stuff most days and were thin…I think that is an indication of how truly unhealthy food is today combined with a sedentary lifestyle…..
