The Fraud of Climate Change

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

There are hard links between the world’s largest financial groups, including Goldman Sachs, pushing the climate change agenda by selling “Green Bonds” which are the latest scheme on how to lose a lot of money very fast. They promise to be great sellers as they whip people up into believing they can do their part by purchasing green climate bonds.

The goal is to tap into literally trillions of dollars in the bond markets by capturing new wealth from a younger generation ignorant of investment. There are major global banks and financial giants with their hands out hoping to get more than a fair share of a market that loses money with good consistency.

The fossil-fuel-free investment movement was gaining momentum. The Norwegian sovereign wealth fund claimed it had blacklisted most hydrocarbon energy producers. However, in a country where its wealth has come from oil, it seems a bit odd. They did backtrack slightly and clarified to say they would still allow investments in integrated energy groups that were at least moving in the right direction.

The last time there was such a movement with a moral divestment was in the tobacco industry. That turned out to be more show than truth and it merely resulted in the entire sector being converted into value-orientated income stocks.

It appears that as the West seems to pretend it has a conscience, they seem to be selling to state-owned institutions that are owned by Russians, Chinese, or Middle Eastern entities. It is merely changing ownership, not actually shutting down the companies or changing the use the fossil fuels.

The climate has always been changing. I’m here in Minneapolis, there was about one mile of ice covering Minnesota. It melted about 12,000 years ago. 12,000 years ago there wasn’t any fossil fuel, and yet the climate warmed.

My home is on the coastal plains of Georgia. The soil here is sandy. It is sandy because from time to time in the earth’s history it was a sea bottom. There is always climate change, and man has nothing to do with it. We are in a continued warming stage since the last ice age that began to end around 10,000 years ago.

You were doing pretty good up until the last sentence. we are in a period of cooling with each successive attempt at returning to warmth less successful than the last. The height of the last ice age was 20,000 years ago. The “end” of the last ice age was somewhere between 12,000 to 8,000 years ago depending on who you believe, but the beginning of the end was definitely before 10,000 years ago.

I looked for a good chart of the temperature over the last 20-30,000 years or so and this article has the best one I could find. It’s not as detailed as I’d like, but you can see the cooling over the last 10,000 years or so.

No global climate change in the past 20,000 years?

Something a bit unsettling about getting a BJ from a girl with a lazy eye…

My grandfather used to tell my father (allegedly, as I was obviously not present) that the easiest way to fix a chick with a lazy eye, is to slap her upside the head in just such a scenario. But when Dad recounted the story to me, it sounded to me like a HORRIBLE idea if she has teeth.

Global cooling and food shortages ahead. No talk of getting ready from DA Fed! Cooling cycles happen more than these warm periods like what we are getting out of.
