My mother had 5 kids. The youngest 3 were all 18 months apart. My sister and I used to run into the street and sit down when mom wasn’t looking (mom told me this just 2 weeks ago).

My wife thinks 2 kids 18 months apart is to much for my stay at home daughter to take care of. Whaaaaa whaaaaa!

We have twin grandsons (now 17) and 3 y-o twin great-granddaughters and can attest to the veracity of the above video. As my Dad would say, “it’s like herding cats.”

Damn, did this thread detour off topic.

Getting back to the post’s original title, I now have Edith and Archie Bunker trapped singing in my skull.
I know Kit can relate. A moray.

Notable lines from da song, dingbats…

-(normal) guys like us, we had it made.

And, you knew who you were then.

Girls were girls and men were men.

Didn’t need no welfare state.

Everybody pulled his weight.

Sigh…
And to think modernistas laugh and mock the old timers as they long for the good old days.

Parody…
Boy, the way Led Zeppelin played.
Doobies passed at each parade.
Party time. We had it made.
Those were da DayZ.

And ya knew who you were then.
Weren’t no bitches dressed like men.
Mister, we could use more gals like Sophia Loren.

Didn’t feel the Power of State.
Weren’t too many overweight.
Men; the women did not hate.

Those Were The Daaaaayyyyzzz.

Look at those dark circles… man oh man those were some rough days in Judah, crying Lord a rocka my soul…

Managed to gain 12 pounds. I think it is St. Jude.

Those were the days.
