And it looks like he was wearing a helmet. Now it will be proposed that anyone entering the subway has to wear a helmet. I believe that the invention of helmets caused most of the problems that we have today.
No helmet, that was his head and collar that created the illusion of a helmet. It almost seemed like the person was a female, either that or a guy with a fur collar? Too bad the video was such poor quality.
You’re right, looking at it again it’s clear that the person is using their face to protect their brain only. I guess that’s why single witnesses can be unreliable. There is no helmet. There is no spoon. So I guess he doesn’t work for a safety testing laboratory either.
The other thing that I originally thought was that the person was on their toes and falling forward. So 5sec in that aspect would have made a difference of whether he went to a mental health clinic or the morgue in several pieces.

You’re right too. I made another mistake. I guess I was thinking of the person who thought up the ad. And surely he had a committee agreeing that this was the best option when looking for a slogan. So “we’re on it” makes perfect sense,….to them.

I knew a woman whose child’s head was flat and the baby had to be fitted with a helmet she wore until she was two-ish. It was better than being flat, but her head looked like a bowling ball until her hair grew out. She was born to a couple who should not have had children, but did.

Helmets, seat belts, etc. They are “taking” of property because one’s personal space should be a person’s to dictate. To demand the wearing of an item for safety is the first excuse to demand the wearing of a tattoo for identification.

Somewhere in my archives I have a video of a former (idiot) employee who after clocking out at work sprinted across the street so as to be the first one out of the parking lot. He sprinted right in front of an old lady, who hit him at around 35 miles an hour.
The impact launched him about 15-20 yards. It was all caught on our security cameras, including the sprint and the launch into orbit. He survived, with brain injuries and some broken bones.
The lady was a wreck, sitting alongside the road. The cops showed up, looking at maybe charging her. I took them into the office and showed them the video, and made them a copy. They just shook their heads and said something to the effect as to what an idiot he was. That was the last time we ever saw that dumbass. He was around 20 years old. Some folks can only learn by experience.
Newbies need to keep that in min.
