And after they were rescued, they held a press conference to call for a boycott of the company that designed the escalator, because obviously it was designed to be RACIST and SEXIST as its only victims were a black man and a woman.

Where is the “government to the rescue” team?
I’ve financially helped an acquaintance with his business for the last 4 years. We recently had a political conversation. I have decided not to risk any more $$ and will not help him anymore. Too risky to help a democrat imo.
It would be more real if a large number of people were on the escalator and when it stops everyone pulls out their phone and calls 911 which in turn clog the 911 system and everyone is put on hold. Then the view switches to other events of actual emergencies where people are attempting to call 911 and the system is overloaded and no one is getting thru.
