The cartoon has a certain irony to it. That military boot will be in the faces of American citizens on American soil, compliments of the pentagons 1033 program.

Once upon a time, Donkey, I grew up listening to these stories on old 45 rpms my father would let me play on his personal record player.

Whether you listen to this attempt at dialect or not, at least read the page and realize that Brer Rabbit was mad at that tar baby and “he heaved and he hoed” Does that look weird to anyone else?

Most people don’t realize the stories are not really racist at all, but involve really complex themes and motifs, similar to those in Nordic or Roman legends. Uncle Remus’s characters are just as charming as some of those Jim Quinn has collected here.

We gots severul tar babies around here who call themselves nobody.

They don’t say nuthin.

But, nobody really knows what a tar baby is unless they walked barefoot down the blacktop to get to the back forty and had to peel that mess off their calloused feet. I’ve done it. And worse.

The problem with people struggling to overcome a narrative is that they can’t see that they are also peddling one. I just made that up.

One of the biggest problems with political correctness is you are allowed no air time to discuss where words/themes come from. How they originate.

It is very much part of it… they dump the crap out there and tell us what it means on their terms.

Somehow, someway, someone should just refuse to accept the load of crap and inform THEM that there are some new terms on the table.

Word origins and usage are fascinating. I took a course in Tribes of the American Southwest and Northern Mexico (listen? do you hear that hiss? that is coyote’s head swelling like a balloon) and we had to do a research project on linguistic archaeology. They trace tribes back to Mongolian ancestry via language commonalities.

Because, for whatever reason, there are certain linguistic sounds which all people can theoretically make, but they don’t unless it is part of their training. Remember that black dude from the Police Academy movies? So, anyway, the words sometimes mean different things in Native American Culture based upon where the speaker is standing.

I kid you not. Is different than slang terms or dialect or even what we call “accent.” There is meaning infused into every aspect of the Native American Indian life.

Simple example, to pay Sky Father for the water, a young child might leave a sprinkling of seeds so that Earth Mother could grow tall cornstalks to bring back Sky Father’s rain and fill the rivers again.

The kid didn’t just go plant seeds and get a buck of water. He had a good reason behind it.

If the madness doesn’t stop soon, we will cross a point of no return.

In my yutes, I was spending time doing base instinct stuff. Now that I’m no longer young, dumb and full of xxx, I’m trying to catch up to all you learn.ed peoples.

Btw, that place is located in Myrtle Beach SC. Next time I get down there to see the inlaws, I’m going to get breakfast there with the fam and explain what the name means.

That place has a 60 item breakfast buffet. YUM!!

Well, we plan a trip to Georgia and plan a swing through Myrtle Beach when the big dog passes. It may sound a bit strange, but we talked about it and neither of us will leave the dog behind now that my son moved into the slums when he’s making $70K.

Like everything Useful Idiots touch, the wonderful Tar Baby Stories have been turned to shit and buried, shadow banned, etc; one wonderful day when the liberals are all dead from starvation and freezing cold, the World can return to sanity and intelligence. PS: If Zionist Trump gets us into another war for Israel’s sake (Iran), we will finally elect a non-Zionist Republican in Nov2020 .
