I feel he missed some important “what if’s”.

What if we went back to the Constitution and Bill of Rights???
What if we threw the UN out of our country?
What if we put term limits on congress and judges?
What if we stopped subsidies to corporate america, including ag?
What if we got rid of the federal reserve?
What if we stopped bank rolling all the other nations of the world?
What if we stopped funding alphabet soup agencies that seem to do more harm than good?

I am sure I have missed a whole bunch of What If’s. Seems to me we should be paying attention to our own home ground and not some other countries.

Well spoken – Ron Paul and oldtimer 505

Continuing the what if list:

What if we abolished the unconstitutional income and property tax?
(remember the 16th amendment was never ratified)
What if we eliminated all tax exemptions and have everybody pay the same rates?

If we abolish the income tax, what is the point of your next “what if?” Go back to indirect taxation via the state governments, and let them work it out as it was before the 16th was supposedly ratified.

There are sales tax exemptions MrLiberty. Those need abolished, too.
Farmers are exempt from sales tax and so are 501 c3 (aka nonprofits).
I once collected signatures from farmers to petition a property tax abolishing and have the farmers pay sales tax instead and they were all for it.

I decided to add to my own what if’s. A fellow poster,Trapped in Portlandia, suggested we threw out the lobbyists. This is an excellent idea. Once you take the money out of the equation you change the whole direction. Thank you Trapped in Portlandia for suggesting that what if.

It makes me sad that the vast majority of ‘free’ people don’t care about these questions anymore. It’s too late to save the US, as well as most other western nations.

In a way I’m glad Ron Paul didn’t become president. TPTB would have killed him.

What if America was a budding empire from the very beginning and it’s in our national DNA?

As I look back now 7 decades down the road it appears to me that is the case. We started by invading from the east in great numbers and with iron will. We plowed through the indigenous people as soon as they taught us how to survive winters. We barely slowed as we hit the Mississippi. Another of Jefferson’s blunders was the Louisiana Purchase. It violated a constitution with barely dry ink and we’d have kiped all that ground anyhow. It’s always easier to spend other people’s money. We had a brutal war to preserve the central government. After all how many 2 headed empires have you heard about? Old Abe wasn’t about to disappoint his financial and corporate benefactors and deny Pax Americana no matter how many fellow citizens had to be put to the sword. Then “Remember The Maine” was a ruse to screw Spain out of their stolen properties. It’s not as immoral if you steal it from a thief. I think there’s a passage in the bible that covers this. Finally 2 world wars that turned the largest body of water on the planet into America’s lake while our loving arms (as in fire arms) wrapped around Europe to save them from those godless Ruskies. Now Pompeo is quoted to have claimed that God installed Donald Trump to protect Israel. God is Donald’s co-pilot. What a bumper sticker!

‘…the indigenous people as soon as they taught us how to survive winters.”

Our Nordic ancestors survived successive ice ages in Europe. In the midwest plains where where I grew, local history says that the Wyandotte Indians, a small tribe struggling unsuccessfully to survive an unsually long and harsh winter in the bottom lands of territorial Kansas where two rivers conjoined, were rescued by White settlers who provided food and blankets. My high school bears the tribe’s name.

Nice chickens too. Very large eggs.

The Wyandotte is a large, heavy bird. The roosters will weigh around 8-9lb, while the hens will weigh in around 6-7lb.

Wyandotte bantams weigh around 36oz and 40oz for female and male respectively.

It is described as a deep, full breasted bird with a broad frame. It has a large broad head with a rose comb. The general shape has been said to be rotund.

The yellow legs are stout and well-spaced to hold the heavy frame of the bird, legs are clean – no feathers. There are 4 toes to each foot. Their face, wattles, comb and earlobes are all red and the beak is horn/yellowish in color tending towards a darker color. Eyes are orange in color.

Wyandottes have yellow skin as preferred by the American market.

The Wyandotte was first admitted to the American Poultry Association in 1883. Other colors followed:

1883 – silver laced
1888 – gold laced Wyandotte
1893 – black, buff, partridge
1902 – silver penciled
1905 – Colombian
1977 – Blue

Hey Ron, I’ll tell you What If. If we didn’t do all those things you said, then the military-industrial complex couldn’t enrich themselves off our tax money. And then they couldn’t bribe, I mean give campaign contributions to all our congressmen. And then our congressmen might actually be interested in representing the people in their districts rather than the lobbyists.

But we will never need to worry about that scenario.

Are the winds buffeting you in Misery this a.m.?

I am really struggling with the idea that our elected officials are that evil and that most people are really that stupid.
