Disunity Is Now America’s Leading Characteristic

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

The Old Dominion (the Commonwealth of Virginia) produced the most important members of our Founding Fathers and two of the most successful military leaders in history, Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson, but has somehow managed to elect a nutcase for its current governor. His name is Ralph Northam, and he seems to have many screws loose.

To begin with, Northam thinks a Virginia governor can repeal the Second Amendment, which has been consistently protected by the US Supreme Court, and confiscate guns from Virginia gunowners.  He has said so many stupid and truculent things that a majority of Virginia counties are against him.  He has riled up Virginia gunowners, who are planning a protest in Richmond.

Northam has responded to the protest by declaring a “state of emergency due to potential civil unrest at the Virginia state capitol.” He implies that the protesters are white nationalists who intend “violence, rioting, and insurrection.”  Any such, of course, would be the product of groups organized by Northam for those purposes.

Virginia’s downfall is its proximity to Washington DC.  Northern Virginia has become non-Virginia.  It is full of lobbyists and federal government bureaucrats.  These outsiders are taking away the voice of Virginians.  The rot extends deep into the state. Charlottesville, the home of the University of Virginia founded by Thomas Jefferson has a liberal progressive tradition. Nikuyah Walker, a black woman, used controversy over the Unite the Right rally to get elected to the city council and was selected by the council as mayor.  Walker is truculent and a critic of the city’s progressive leadership, which she believes hides its racism behind a progressive cover.  Once again we see progressives have more good intention than sense, and they have put a disruptive force at the head of the city government in Charlottesville and the Commonwealth government in Richmond.

With Northam and Walker tearing apart the unity of another state, the flag of disunity is waving over ever more of “the land of the free.”

I’d suggest not going to Crucify the Whites 2.0 – it looks like trap. But if you do go, take your gear and expect to need it.

Have evacuation routes/RV points. Plural.

Have paper maps of the area and a magnetic compass – your phone probably won’t work.

If you make it out, I hope you learn something.

It didn’t start as a “protest”, but as the annual lobby day. It’s been happening peacefully for decades. Goddamn out of stater media & $$ groups have turned it into what it is now. Go armed but stay outside the barrier would be my plan if I was going.

That Dweeb elected in Kentucky was elected by the drones whose pensions his own father helped destroy via his appointment of an outrank crook to the State Pension Board. Talk about morons! However, both houses of the Kentucky Statehouse are still firmly held by Republicans. The Shit Fest will begin when Dweeb suggests that at least $45,000 in taxes per Kentucky taxpayer must be levied to bail it out. It won’t be pretty, but nonetheless delicious.

Disunity is ok.
When those fellas (who were they? Franklin, Adams and some other guy. Oh yeah, Jay) approached those bankers in that other country. Franklin ( I guess) suggested they needed X amount of gold to buttress up the fledgling and almost begun Disparate States of America. “How much?”, the Jewish (for the Joo baiters on TBP) bankers asked?
Well, said Adams, we`ll need amount X for the Revolution proper and then 23 trillion paper dollars. “Oye’, replied the joo bankers. “How much?!”
Well, said Adams entirely embarrassed, we may need 23 trillion, currency in fiat, due to funded and unfunded liabilities at some future date. All looked at Adams with a mild disgust. The ministers son, once again felt compelled to be completely honest at a most unfortunate time.
The joo bankers glanced among themselves, then the wisest banker of them all suggested, “Why not call yourselves the United States of America?” Franklin grinned and nodded his relieved brow while Adams hardly contained his excitement.” Yes, Adams blurted out, Yes, The United States of America!!! Why, future politicians will forever bamboozle the voters appealing to some silly sense of unity that never existed in the first place.”
“Come back in the morning” the wise banker suggested.
The rest is history…

Weird that Trump hasn’t even made a statement in support of the 2A folks in VA. (Or maybe I just missed it?)

Trump is a Democrat at heart but likes to spend money and talk sh-t around issues people like hearing about. He makes a good foil for Progressive Dems and ignorant socialists. I am suspicious of Trump’s motives until it’s obvious he comes out openly in favor of 2A law or puts a big clamp on civil asset forfeitures. People who have no problem snatching your financial assets won’t stop with personal property, guns being the foremost of which that deters theft of the rest.

Here is the conservative score card. It’s been around forever. Use it as your guide if you’re unsure who to put your support behind. If they’re 50% they’re playing both sides. If they’re under 50% they’re voting with Democrats MORE than with Republicans. https://www.thenewamerican.com/freedom-index

There are around 10 ways into Charlottesville.

What would say 200 tractors and or trucks do, strategically located at each of those points, maybe accompanied by a few truckloads of cement, surrounded by say 2000 well stocked peaceful people at each point?

Things would get interesting in Charlottesville pretty fast.

Richmond has around 20 points of entry. So a lot harder, but still doable with a bit of planning.

Quietly make preparations. Be gray. Hide stuff. It may not happen now but it is the calm before the storm.

I think the safest place to live right now is Kentucky. Any hint of the likes of a Coonman in State Government would lead to a reenactment of William Goebel.

several of the reasons we have so much disunity are that we have such easy lives & we feel sorry 4 ourselves–additionally, one side or the other has to set the tone 4 economics & culture–we currently swing back & forth, though w/a decidedly leftist drift–
how many of you have heard that the pussy hats are having a march in washington this saturday?the theme is rape-
these poor little ol american women have it so bad, don’t they?

meanwhile, some 3rd world nations still have women being forced to use menstruation huts–

VA govt is full of pedophiles, as well as a fraud Governor. 2 main counties had more votes cast than residents but the fec refuses to do anything. Nobody is even talking about that anymore.

America’s leading characteristic is still moronic gullibility. America’s second leading charactaristic is a faulty need to trust in a daddy-government. America’s third leading characteristic is now disunity. Which is the product of some folks getting burned by the first two characteristics and waking up.

The governor of Virginia is a traitor. If the people of Virginia do not rise up and remove him from office, then they deserve to live under tyranny.
