I have reports of – and have seen – armed government workers in my state (VA) menacing businesses that dare to transact business. Free exchange is now a criminal offense. Of course, it has been for some time – depending on the free exchange involved. But it’s now general.
You face armed government workers – and their arms – for attempting to serve people a cup of coffee. The AGWs are prowling around local restaurants, menacing the proprietors if more than ten people are within.
The “locking down” (a term once reserved for inmates of prisons) of America passes almost without comment – and little objection. The government decrees that people are no longer free to associate; to freely transact business.
Else Hut! Hut! Hut!
Because Corona.
It is the new Answer for Everything. Or at least, the new justification for everything. Our freedom – or what we still had of it – now held at gunpoint . . . to “keep us safe.” The irony is lost on most people, who seem okay with being told they may not go work out, sit down for a meal or even have a cup of coffee anymore.
On the basis of . . . what, exactly?
Lots of sick people, yes. But how many dead people? In this country, about 150 so far. How many of these were very old people vulnerable to any sickness? People with some form of immune system debility that makes them vulnerable to any sickness?
Don’t we have a right to know that – since it bears hugely on how many otherwise healthy younger people may die as opposed to just get briefly sick?
How long will it be (the principle being the same) before the government decrees no more associating, period. In our homes . . . everywhere?
This is already happening. Mass house arrest – aka, “sheltering in place.” We are being clearly told who our owners are.
I have been trying for years to get people to understand that principles matter; that evil precedents set are always expanded upon.
Thirty years ago, the principle that it’s morally legitimate – “constitutional” – to randomly stop people and demand they produce “papers” as well as prove they are not “drunk” set a very dangerous precedent.
It did – and was expanded on. It became routine to not only subject everyone to police inquisitions on the theory that someone might be a “drunk” – but that they might also be an “evildoer.”
And now, “sick.”
“Someone” might be a Corona Carrier. Therefore, everyone must be treated as a presumptive Corona Carrier. Restricted, corralled and punished if he declines to be treated as a presumptive Corona Carrier.
That they have done nothing to indicate they are is an irrelevance. Just as it does not matter that you’ve given no reason to suspect you are a “drunk” driver or an “evildoer.”
Might justifies the application of might (i.e., of force).
Which application is unlimited in principle. There is no “this far and no farther.” Might is open ended.
Which is just how they like it.
My vibe is this is contrived. See here for some very sobering data – or rather sobering info about the lack of data and how Corona Fever is being used to terrorize the population and render it inert.
I suspect that what’s unfolding is a new and far more clever, much more dangerous nahhnnelleven – designed to (a) mask the cratering of the over-leveraged financial sector and (b) blame it on a bug and then (c) use this as the excuse to “lock down” the country.
Permanently.
We have a few weeks, at most, to fight back. To question the narrative. To ask: How did they get this unlimited power to decree . . . anything? Who voted for this? Who consented to this? 
The principle of unlimited authority – freed from any pretense of consensual authority – has been placed on the table. It is up to us to take it off the table while there is still time and we don’t have very much of that left.
I think it is entirely possible they will shortly shut down any media – including social media – that contradicts the official line, using “national emergency” as the pretext. It may even become a criminal offense to “deny” Corona Fever. This sort of thing has precedent. See the Palmer Raids, for instance. Or, what Abe did. What The Chimp did.
What John Adams did.
The “enemies of freedom” must be stopped.

Physiognomy is your friend.
When people are misshapen, undersized, stunted, odd looking or have lots of ticks and odd behaviors that does not make them a bad person, but it should serve as an indicator of other problems that flow from those imperfections. People who spend their formative years being picked on by their peers for having big ears and being a foot shorter than others develop attitudes and behaviors- often towards other people whom they see as tormentors- that are destructive of deliberately cruel. Their experiences influence their behaviors. It probably explains why so many people who fall into this category seek public office or work for the state as it allows them to gain power which can be used to get even for past injustices.
Again, this is merely a guide- everyone deserves a fair shot from the word go, but if you pay attention to the patterns what emerges is that the vast majority of those will in fact develop all kinds of behaviors that are destructive not only to themselves, but towards others and pose real danger when given too much authority or power.
And I’m not saying that Fauci falls into that category except for his unusually short stature and consistently dour appearance which might be specific to this crisis, but which looks by all photographic evidence to be his natural expression. Some people are just not happy. Does that influence the decision and choices he must make? Who knows.

I got your Tacos, Tico. I put a 741 pound side of beef in the barn freezer just last month. Nick said, don’t we have some of that other one left and I said we have 20 pounds of ground beef and the leftover cold frozen heart I’m going to pickle and send to TBP’s big picnic. People might be hungry enough to wish they’d paid me shipping for some oats.
So, the grassfed organic beef is also Kosher. We are expecting remnant Jews here.
Some people don’t like that but it ain’t some people’s business who I have in my little E-I-E-I-O neighborhood.
As soon as the first set of checks goes out to the general population, it is over for a while. When people get that thousand, or 5 thousand, or whatever, it will be a done deal. No more working, no more paying rent, no more responsibility for those debts (like college debt or mortgages in some zip codes, nomesain?) or bills. Uncle Sugar will handle it. He will want freedom, privacy, and liberty in return for the cash, but most people have already tacitly agreed to that deal.
How will this work out when things REALLY fall apart? It won’t be too long. Not even a couple years, I don’t think. Anyone that is anywhere near a diverse urban area should be packing the car.
Little too late for that. If you can’t bug-in at this point, good luck finding a place to do it unless you have friends who can provide it. The RE market is going to go tits up.

The commercial real estate market was due for a massive dump.
When the trucks stop running and the store shelves are not being replenished, we will see how civil the population is and how effective AGW’s are at suppressing the coming looting. EBT’s feed a lot of people and the government checks will seem like a godsend to many, but if there is nothing to buy, what good are they?
I guess I am more paranoid about the beer virus. The idea of breathing becoming harder and there not being enough ventilators makes me nervous. This is just the beginning, many more will die in the next few months. My town is close to being shut down and it makes sense to me. Yes, it’s not very good for the economy and people in general. Dying is worse. My niece the nurse said I am not being paranoid enough.
Some of the absolutely worst humans tend to make to positions of mid to high-level management in the GS world.
Personal experiences over the years have shown me some truly miserable people can rise to positions of authority. In one instance I saw no less than five program managers leave, retire, or be replaced on a five year INSCOM project long before it went up for rebid. The government people despised the contractors, most of whom were blue collar people trying to make a living. The worst GSW was a volatile project manager barely over five feet tall who’d stomp about in cowboy boots and a ten gallon hat. His nickname was “Little Napoleon”.
In another job I worked for, and with, blacks in DC Navy Yard. The GS-14 in charge was a nasty, hateful, and profane homie in a business suit who had no problem cursing his employees. In one episode the PoS did it to me when visiting the security office when I objected to a question of a personal nature I didn’t like or understand why it was asked. In another instance King Hood Rat the Hypocrite forbid his people from having even one beer during going away lunches, but sat around getting drunk with his homies during a work “get together” that coincided with a USMC run on Hains Point.
I can only wonder how the cops in Corona, CA (the presumed source of this badge photo) must be feeling these days….probably power-hungy and looking to bust heads as always.

The ONLY way the truth will be spread is by us spreading it. Shut down gatherings of folks and then shut down the internet and similar, and no truth will effectively get out. Of course this is all part of their plan.
No more will I listen to the claims that there are good cops. The laws that they are enforcing are immoral. All immorality is evil. Therefore, the enforcers are acting evilly and must be treated accordingly by moral men. Red Coats and nothing more.
Have been lied to by MSM, politicians et.al. for such a long time how do we know that there is a wuhan pandemic? Have they suddenly turned honest? The power elite will do whatever it takes to retain control so knocking off some people and blaring that that the wuhan/covid 19 did it so we have to shutdown the economy is not outside their bag of tricks.
