Offering free Covid testing is one of the best random sampling methods I’ve seen. It has no greater or lesser bias than political polling calls.
You don’t like the result; then it’s not random, or it’s agenda-driven. If you do like it; then it is random (even if it is exclusively among a very specific subpopulation and you then apply the conclusions to the community at large), and any agendas are invisible to you because they’re your own.
