It should be noted that I cannot even delete my account. Jack Dorsey has decided in his infinite wisdom to leave it up, as is, for all time. Adding insult to injury the RCMP used twitter last weekend to relay information to public about that guy who shot 22 in mayhem that stretched over three counties and 16 crime scenes.

I’m glad I closed my twatter account 4 years ago when I could still download it. I know everything on the interwebz is forever but not just anybody can find out what was on there. I did the same with my FB account. There was more on it than on my twatter but not near what I have been talking about these days. Of course I don’t bother to hide what I think here. Nearly all of us has a digital identity than can incriminate us, even anons. Montagraph proves how easy it is to find whatever he wants to find regardless of whether you use an encryption product or not. Even the powerful.
The only reason I had it was the view video content from Twatter on here.. And to be honest MC I really don’t care one way or other about twitter. It’s no loss really and yeah my digital identity is online for all time whether I like it or not.
What does bother me is the RCMP in Nova Scotia treat that place as there connection to their media relations department. And when confronted this week Insp. Leather, doubled down on decision to do it the way they did, going so far as saying it was the “best” decision considering circumstances.
And for those wondering the simp that got me banned is a fucken journalist!
I’m just trying to clarify what you said in your reply. Are you saying it was a tweet about the recent shooting incident in NS that got you banned?
I was banned while back for writing what was said above. The sad part is that originally I had called him a fucken tard but thought that would be too spicy for Jack Dorsey and did what al lot of folks must be doing these days to stay within the good graces of twitter.
I deleted the “fucken” part and still got perma-banned anyways. I should note that I haven’t been a good boy over the years and have been suspended for a week, locked outta my account until some penance was extracted but this is a first.. and last it seems even for me.

This guy works for The Daily Beast. If you go thru his twitter feed it quickly becomes apparent that he has a boner for Alex Jones and anything alt-right that can be twisted into bad copy. And if its fake news it don’t matter. He is only preaching to a choir anyways. In the meantime, ole Will just wants his happy place for an echo chamber. I had a friend set me up with a facebook account many years ago, I was attempting to promote a small biz. Long story short, I quickly realized just exactly what Facebook was and attempted to get rid of the account, to no avail. I’ve never Twittered, Instagrammed or done anything with ‘social’ media because I realized those items were honeypots.
Count your blessings that you have been tossed, especially at this juncture in time. The “harvesting” using social media is just now commencing….
