Sam Jacobs is the lead writer and chief historian at Ammo.com. His writing for Ammo.com's Resistance Library has been featured by USA Today, Reason, Bloomberg's Business Week, Zero Hedge, The Guardian, and National Review as well as many other prominent news and alt-news publications. Ammo.com believes that arming our fellow Americans – both physically and philosophically – helps them fulfill our Founding Fathers' intent with the Second Amendment: To serve as a check on state power. That the rights codified in our Bill of Rights were not given to us in a document, but by our Creator. That an unalienable right is God-given. It isn't granted by a president, a king, or any government – otherwise it can be taken away.

You’re forgetting something as important than all those. The refined petro products distribution system in the US on the local/regional level.

No MOGAS & LSDF, no food.

We have some bright people here, but “affable personality”, not so much.

Because Ron Paul’s forgettable, failed presidential campaigns are such a popular, engaging, and routine topic.

WTF?

In 2012, Paul got half as many votes as Romney in the NH GOP primary and that was the end of that fiasco.

Paul was the scripted loser in the primary and Romney was scripted to loser against Obama in 2012.

Deep politics is not for amateurs or Libertarians.

Nov 2012 had to happen that way, so Nov 2016 and Nov 2020 could go down differently.

I nominate Stucky. Not sure of his other attributes but I think he would nail it with “Affable Personality”.

anon,
i ‘m thinking more along the lines of a point/counterpoint type podcast with stucky & llpoh–
can’t you just hear stucky yelling,”llpoh, you ignorant cunt!”
even better, when they take calls from the public or interview guests llpoh will end a call or interview with,”the stupid it burns.”
they could also occasionally interview some of our calm/rational posters on timely subjects of the day such as moon landings, flat earth, etc.–
they could be the high brow alex jones, what do you think?

on a serious note here guys, this thread being from ammo.com,a couple of weeks ago they had a good story up that many of you would like–
back in the 50 s in oregon a fire watch ranger had an isolated post in the boonies–he had to go fight a fire & his wife/small children were left alone–
a bear broke thru a window during the night & the story is about their “adventure”–

Sam,

I think you made a smart move posting this here. If you’ve been lurking here for some time, I’m sure you have an idea of some you would like to interview. Send Jim Quin an email and I’m sure he would arrange an introduction to just about anyone here. In fact, Jim has done some on air stuff.
