It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. So each time you visit the site, I would ask that you consider the value that you receive and have received from The Burning Platform and the community of which you are a vital part. I can't do it all alone, and I need your help and support to keep it alive. Please consider contributing an amount commensurate to the value that you receive from this site and community, or even by becoming a sustaining supporter through periodic contributions. The only thing our two-party system does well is ensure that on any given point in time half the population is content with the fucking they get.

Sort of; I’m a Conservative and we don’t have a national party representing US (yet). Frankly, I would vote for anybody who’d prosecute the Traitors, and I’m beginning to think Trump has some explaining to do.

Cause or effect of not learning how to manage money? We are in the 3rd generation of really bad government education which seems to correspond well with the graphic.

Many schools no longer teach economics/business/consumer math. Now purchase decisions are based on payments not purchase price. That’s how we got 84 month car loans.

My household is part of the 90% but we save way more than even the top 1%. We don’t feel the burden to borrow money for Wants we cannot afford.

That graph seems about right, especially when you consider the use of debit and credit cards.
