I’m for opening up everything, but I think this virus will still kill a lot of people before it’s done. Rough numbers:
Stockholm proper: ~ 1 mil people
Stockholm metro area: 2.4 mil
Sweden total: 10.2 mil people
Here’s some wild-assed guessery: Let’s say 7.3% of Stockholm metro has been exposed. That’s 175,000 people. Let’s further guess that more rural areas had far less prevalence, so that all of Sweden had ~ 250,000 infected by late April. (I’ll bet it’s fewer than that.) Current total COVID deaths in Sweden (3,831) should correlate fairly well to those infected by late April – although there is also the not-yet-known time for someone who’s been exposed (but virtually asymptomatic) to develop antibodies. So while there’s a lag to death, there may also be a lag to antibodies. 3,831 / 250,000 would be an infection fatality rate of 1.53%. It’s probably lower once you take into account the lag to showing antibodies, but you might still end up with an IFR of .7 – 1%. Which is where most of these IFR calculations end up when you have believable sero-prevalence data. If it takes 70% of the population to achieve herd immunity, .7% IFR would be a lot of deaths. Obviously skewed toward the elderly and infirm.
I ran into an article that gives credence to Covid being far more nefarious that currently imagined..
It being a lab modified/designer virus with snippets of HIV and an old RETROVIRUS from sheep in 1950s Iceland that caused a chronic wasting disease called Visna virus.
The significance being that RETROVIRUSES encode PERMANENTLY in our DNA and can re-emerge like Herpes Simplex does on your lip (or HSV2 below the waist). Yes, once contracted you are a carrier for life just waiting for re-emergence over and over. Each time doing more permanent damage until your time arrives to leave these earthly bonds.
This makes sense because Fauci has said definitely that we will have another emergence in the fall and the military has of now forever barred from enlistment anyone hospitalized with Covid.
The thought being this was designed as a population depleter and only the “insiders” will recieve the drugs which can inactivate this virus- HIV type drugs which are Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors. The $5000 Prepi kit is the believed method of dissemination to these “insiders” chosen to carry humanity forward in line with the Georgia Guidestones.
