Why? No Cops means there are going to be none available to be investigating anything anyhow.
Most States already have self-defense statutes.
I’m looking ahead to the coming annual Purge days, myself.
You can hunt them, or let them hunt you….
It’s your call….
But the best defense is a good offense….

No police doesn’t mean you will not have overly aggressive prosecutors going after those who are “repressing minorities”. Look at the store owners who have been arrested for defending their stores from looters.

In liberal bastions, looting is your right, protecting your property with deadly force is not.

In Minneapolis, “Defund the Police” is code for the establishment of Sharia Law in the city. “Communities” will get to decide the type of policing they want, and what do you think all those useful Somalians are going to decide is the type of policing they want?

This is a gateway incident. Watch it spread to Pontiac, NYC, etc once the Nation of Islam / Black Panthers start signing “Community Policing” contracts with the cities.

“Municipal police departments” are a relatively new phenomenon in the grand scheme of human civilization. This concept of “law enforcement” is beholden to the power structure and not to the citizenry.

In “the good old days”, the “sheriff” was the chief “law enforcement” individual in the county and had broad reign in his respective jurisdiction. When the need arose, ordinary citizens were “deputized” and were given limited “police authority” at the discretion of the “sheriff”. This was used during emergencies when there was a need for “manpower”.

Today, this has morphed into the need for permanently appointed sheriff’s deputies.
In order for a sheriff to be elected (and re-elected) he has to have a good reputation among the citizenry.

Accountability to the citizenry is a major part of the equation.

Fast forward to today, where the “chief of police” in the major urban areas is quite often a political “hack” whose allegiance is to the mayor and power structure, not the citizenry. This is a large part of the problem as it fosters an “us vs. them” attitude, where the citizenry (us) is considered to be the “enemy”. It gets worse, as city officials “pull back” their police when they should be doing just the opposite.

The concept of “immunity” for public officials has been expanded to the point that police departments operate with impunity and have no problem abusing their power as the prosecutors, courts, and in general the “system” is heavily stacked against the victim of police abuses. It is almost impossible to sue police departments for abuses committed by their personnel.

Individual police officers cannot be sued as they are “protected” from lawsuits by their official “immunity”. Even with incontrovertible video and audio evidence, police are rarely convicted of crimes. Juror intimidation is a large factor in the inability to reign in the “bad apples”. Police unions play a large part in whitewashing criminal behavior by police.

Immunity negates responsibility and must be abolished.

What we are experiencing today is “blowback”, something that I feared would occur, with the increasing number of publicized police abuse cases. Those who are attacking police see only the uniform and not the person wearing it.

Not a good situation for either police or the citizenry…

Just maybe it is time to abolish municipal police departments and go back to the sheriff model of “law enforcement”.

Police = Policy Enforcers. Policy = Rules for an Entity =Constitutions/Statutes/Ordinances/Codes. Rules for an Entity apply to those working under the capacity of that entity. Applying rules for the workers of an entity to those who are not working under the capacity of that entity is fraud, a crime. The People’s law is the common law. Each of the People have no title because they are not within a bounded contractual capacity. Those with titles and rank have those titles to distinguish the time they are under that capacity with bounded contractual, voluntarily obligated, policy. The bounded capacity is the veil and being within that titled veil is what distinguishes one into personhood as opposed to a man/woman (one of the People) who is not operating under a contractual veil. Not staying within the bounded rules of the contractual veil (personhood) is a breach of that veil. The concepts of contractual veil, capacity, personhood vs man/woman were all established properly in common law as very explicit distinctions and those distinctions can be seen clearly when reading the declaration of independence and US constitution within this clear understanding of common law.

The DOI acknowledges “men” (men is men and women because law is written in masculine form) as equal with unalienable rights and men as those whom institute or abolish government -the word “person” is not in the DOI. The Constitution acknowledges “People” establish and ordain (=institute) government in the pre-amble and with that established the bounded rules of that capacity where you first see “person” within the bounded rules. Men institute government-> People ordain and establish therefore Men = People. Rules of a capacity established referring to “persons” therefore Person and to be in that capacity one must take an oath to bind themselves to those rules = one working under that contractually bounded capacity is a person. ALL Statutes/Codes/Ordinances/Constitutions EVERYWHERE in the US explicitly claim applicability to “persons” NOT People/Men/Women therefore Statutes/Codes/Constitutions/Ordinances (Gvernment Policy) HAVE NO APPLICATION TO ANY OF THE PEOPLE NOR DOES THAT POLICY CLAIM ANY APPLICABILITY TO ANY OF THE PEOPLE!!! FOR COURTS TO INTERPRET PEOPLE AS PERSONS IS FRAUD, TO HAVE POLICE (POLICY ENFORCERS) APPLY GOVERNMENT POLICY TO THE PEOPLE IS FRAUD AND AN OVERTHROW OF THE GOVERNMENT THE ACT OF LITERALLY LEVYING WAR ON THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND OUR US CONSTITUTION WHICH IS ACTUAL TREASON!!!

The People’s law is the Common law.
Constitution/Statutes/Codes/Ordinances is the law for those working in the applicable government capacity.

Anyone who doesn’t clearly understand all of this are lawless, they ignore how law actually works, and they are a DANGER to the rule of law and everyone.

If you want to end the police state you need to end the police.

Think about how great America would be if we disbanded the police – no more:
Drug war, civil forfeiture, road piracy, extortion, surveillance state, victimless crimes, dumb psychocops demanding your obedience to their orders, over filled prisons with victimless criminals, criminal charges for shooting real criminals, business license enforcement, on and on and on…

If the police were totally disbanded we could: drastically reduce taxes, clean out all criminals from our communities, turn drugs into a booming free market industry thereby drastically reducing price of drugs and drastically reduce theft associated with pay for high price drug addiction, enable and expand the number and types of businesses, establish private liberty guardian security services that operate according to common law based on accusers and have rules of engagement to kill violent criminals on-site, bring back duels for private settlement of dishonorable activities, drastically accelerate technology development from the mind expansion associated with strategic entheogens, enable real elections (remember cops breaking legs of Ron Paul delegates and shutting down their takeover?), on and on and on…

End the police to end the police state. Make America Free Again.

Tragically, the call, if there is one, from the “right” will be to “privatize” police. This will involve, as it typically does from their perspective, the transfer of the government monopoly to a well-connected “friend” of government who will then make even more profits off the monopoly position.

A fully competitive free market in security, combined with personal freedom (ie, no war on drugs, prostitution, gambling, and other ‘vices’), would deliver an accountable system that would finally focus on property and personal violations, while no longer shielding anyone from prosecution or liability, and no longer allow politicians to decide where resources should be focused, or on what is important in the scheme of violations.

Oh, and Somalia is what you will get if you don’t blinding support every bit of government over reach current on the books or proposed going forward….the typical line from virtually every useless progressive piece of shit I have ever encountered (as if there is a playbook they all read from – which there probably is).

Truly the key to success is a change of mind of the people. Covid has exposed the overwhelming failure of political solutions (as has the last 200+ years of America). This current bullshit is bringing it all to a head. That anyone would call to defund the police at least shows that they know the locus of the problem. People who understand the primacy of law and the inherent danger of government, will support real change. Trying to force something without that will just end with more of the same.

I stand in awe at the psychotic ideation that anywhere outside of a paleolithic grass hut village can there be no police and a peaceful, civil society.

Defunding police brings any society to the only other means to maintain law, order, and domestic tranquility: martial law.

Be careful what you wish for – you might get it ( although there are certain urban jurisdictions that would be a sight to behold with no police; anarchy, pandemonium, destruction and death would reign supreme.)

That said, the US is rapidly heading that way.

Mexico has drug cartels because the CI fucking A is in Assghanistan protecting the poppy fields and shipping the product to Mexico, and laundering the money through various means to fund their war on the world. They are in bed with the drug cartels. Have been in bed with various organized crime and banks, including the vatican since the 50’s. If you want to stop the drug “crisis”, cut the head off the snake. The snake is US.
