Judging from what I am observing it is going to be one long hot summer. 40 million unemployed people caused by the lockdown along with broke local governments that won’t open recreational facilities is sure stoking the anger in people.
Black lives matter (BLM) is turning into All Lives Matter(ALM) which means that the grievances about the police is going to expand into grievances against the government.
It was the government that shut the economy down and caused massive unemployment, the loss of thousands of businesses and the loss of revenue to local governments.
Our political leaders that shut the country down have way underestimated the misery they have caused for the people. And guess what… the blowback is just beginning.
My gut is telling me that before the end of the year we are going to see a full blown revolution. Many people can’t pay their bills and are waiting in long lines at food banks for food to feed their families.
The real anger and desperation hasn’t started yet. But the signs of it is starting to manifest in many communities.
If I were one of those governors, mayors, and city council people that supported the shutdown I would be getting out of dodge and finding a place to hide. I sure would not want to be walking in their shoes.
