Of all the people to attempt to mug in a parking garage . Big mistake ! Rex Applegate took on several attackers leaving them in a bruised broken bloody heap . He had to purchase a new cane , he broke his using it on the attackers .
The real tragedy is after his life of service above and beyond TSA would not allow him to board an airliner with his Medal of Honor in his carryon bag . You see it has points that could be used as a weapon , how pathetic . Considering this is a guy who could pull your lungs out thru your nose with a plastic spork !
