Yesterday (June 26, 2020) the city council in Minneapolis (12 Democrats and 1 Green) unanimously voted to abolish the city’s police department. For this measure to come into effect, city residents will have to approve it in a November election.
By November the hamstrung police who are prevented from enforcing the laws on the books might all have resigned and moved away. Regardless, as Minneapolis police are prevented from performing their duty, the Minneapolis voters who elected such a crazed government will possibly have been brought to their senses by violence and the absence of police response and vote down the crazed government. If not, kiss Minneapolis goodbye.
The non-woke among the citizenry are already trying to get out, but what sensible person wants to move to Minneapolis? It is hard to leave town when your house has a mortgage and there is no market for your property.
Everyone in multiracial cities governed by Democrats is thinking the same thought. They now know that their businesses and their homes and persons have no protection against rioting and looting. They want to put as much distance as they can between themselves and blacks. The question is: can they unload their houses?
The situation in Seattle is even more desperate. Seattle is dying. More truthfully, Seattle has been murdered by the citizens themselves who elected a woke government that has favored the criminal element over the law-abiding element. I made it a point every time I saw the Dead Kennedys to knock Jello Biafra off the stage with a body slam. Got him good once, the second time knocked him down and the 10 other punks on stage dog piled him and they had to pause the set. He’s an ass but the band was great in its day.

Put it into perspective, what you just said. A local community that has a reasonable site survey is in minimal danger of walkers. There’s a fine balance to walk when you have to be near a metro area to work, but also far enough away to be surrounded by like-minded individuals. 20 miles is the minimum. 25-50 is optimal if you can WFH. It also depends on topo…so many variables in play.

He at least has the attribute of calling out their bullshit and that is more than any other mainstream player has ever done, except Tucker Carlson. At this point, our side must rally around him and support him loudly, enthusiastically and unapologetically. Push him in the right direction as best we can. Push back HARD against our enemies.
If Trump fails, we must continue the fight with a new, better and probably more radical and more committed leader. Seattle is far from “dead.” Not many blacks in Seattle and even fewer than a few years ago. And the black area is not a slum but is much more middle class. The area of concern is Capitol Hill where the confused gender people have congregated. So the people in Seattle are a confused mess at this time, yet houses are often sold in a bidding war yet today. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Boeing, and other tech companies have huge presences here so the pay is good. People flock to Whole Foods of which there are four, and then there are five Puget Sound Coop stores, which are also big and prosperous. High end restaurants are all over the place along with trendy, exotic, seafood, and international types. Tourists come to Seattle for the ferries, the harbors, the views, the Seattle Center, Pike Place, and the perfect summer weather and access to mountains, seas, lakes, rivers, and even rain forests. Three national parks in Western Washington.
Magnolia, Madrona, Medina, Mercer Island, Queen Anne, Clyde Hill, West Seattle, Ravenna, Lake Washington, all of Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and many more are filled to the brim with people with money, white people mostly with lots and lots from India who are loaded. China Town flourishes.
Washington itself is a top exporter of agricultural products. Tremendous amounts of grains, fruits, potatoes, veggies, hops, wine, you name it. Taxes on all that make Seattle able to advocate and do the crap it does.
Go north or east or west of Seattle and the progressives numbers decline, sometimes going to minimums in eastern Washington where Seattle is a hated enterprise that has a population large enough to control the legislature.
Anywhere with a disarmed populace and a high population density is either a current or a future dead zone. Seattle is no exception and if anything it’s compounded its vulnerabilities being on the West Coast, hence within easy strike distance of China. Been there, done that, evaluated so many urban locales prior to this last move based on a variety of metrics.
