THE QUESTIONS I am constantly being asked by all my friends and acquaintances is: “Why is all this chaos happening?  Who is behind it all?  When, if ever, will it end?  Well now here are some answers:  It’s the globalist agenda, particularly Item 17 on the UN Agenda 2030.  Read more in these articles:

In this week’s Letter it has come to my attention that there are many South Africans living in UK and, as my wife is South African and fluent in Afrikaans, I am offering an email confidential advice service during these trying times.  There may well be South African expats spread around America and elsewhere too.  I can only apply UK law and advice, but the offer is here to contact me on my email above for help and advice on any matter.  As a retired volunteer of the UK ‘Citizens Advice Bureau’ I have had unique access to government information and knowledge in order to advise clients.

As Boris Johnson told children at Castle Rock school in Coalville, Leicestershire, that exam results had almost been derailed by “a mutant algorithm”, eyes turned to the bookshelves behind him, lined with titles like The Twits, Betrayed and The Subtle Knife.

On the day it was announced that the top civil servant at the Department of Education (DfE), Jonathan Slater, was to leave his job, hot on the heels of Ofqual chief Sally Collier, the titles had a resonance which did not go unnoticed.

Has a savvy school librarian or English teacher snatched a golden opportunity to have a pop at the PM in front of the nation?” asked a reporter from the TES. “Whichever librarian managed to get not just the “The Twits” but also “Betrayed”; “Resistance” and “Fahrenheit 451” in the shot behind Johnson has my admiration,” tweeted Sam Freedman, a former senior policy advisor at the DofE. Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian novel by American writer Ray Bradbury about a society where books are banned.  Read more: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/aug/26/books-seen-behind-boris-johnson-tell-their-own-story?

‘Britain is not a land of hate and racism’: “spiked” columnist Inaya Folarin Iman appeared on Good Morning Britain this morning [Aug 24] to debate the calls to ban ‘Rule Britannia’ and ‘Land of Hope and Glory’ from the BBC’s Last Night of the Proms.”  Can you believe this?  Britain is going down the tubes fast if we allow this crazy PC rubbish to continue.  I shall always promote the love of my land of birth as an Englishman, proud of it too!  The immigrants may be ‘British’ but they can never be ‘English’ and it is to this patriotic hymn I refer.  Great Britain has a proud democratic history, even leading the ban on slavery at an early stage; and yes we will never be slaves – ever!  Let’s disown these dark forces!

As the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, this has never been starker than the conditions prevailing in South Africa of which I have some experience.  The World Bank has attempted to make some measurements of the dysfunction and distress to be found in this otherwise magnificent country.  Furthermore, it is a microcosm of the world in general except perhaps to the degree we witness.  “The International Poverty Line ‘is set so low and arbitrarily as to guarantee a positive result and to enable the United Nations, the World Bank, and many commentators to proclaim a Pyrrhic victory,’ says a recent report.”  Read more:

“On Thursday 13 August, SECTION27 hosted a webinar discussion unpacking a report titled “The Parlous State of Poverty Eradication’’ by Professor Philip Alston, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights and Extreme Poverty. The discussants were Alston, Professor Sandra Liebenberg and Dr Faranaaz Veriava. They were moderated by Maverick Citizen editor Mark Heywood.

The thrust of Alston’s report is that the World Bank’s international poverty line of $1.90 [a day] is way too low and as such is not an accurate reflection of the global state of poverty. The report also says that the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly eradicating poverty and gender inequality, are far from being recognised by the envisaged date of 2030 and that the SDG framework itself needs to be reimagined. Perhaps most important is that the report asserts that extreme poverty must be treated as a human rights violation.” Read more:

However, the United States exhibits wider disparities of wealth between rich and poor than any other major developed nation. We equate wealth with “net worth,” the sum total of your assets minus liabilities. … In the United States, wealth inequality runs even more pronounced than income inequality: https://inequality.org/facts/wealth-inequality/

Wealth in Great Britain is even more unequally divided than income. In 2016, the ONS calculated that the richest 10% of households hold 44% of all wealth. The poorest 50%, by contrast, own just 9%.   “The majority of households in the UK have disposable incomes below the mean [annual] income (£34,200 as of 2018). This includes wages and cash benefits, and is after direct taxes like income tax and council tax, but not indirect taxes like VAT.  The median income has been rising by 2.2% on average for the last five years. Most of this is accounted for by the rise in average income for the richest fifth, which has increased by 4.7%. The poorest fifth, on the other hand, have seen a fall in income by 1.6%”.

As the economic fallout from the obtuse reactions of governments to coronavirus around the world progress over the coming months, this extreme inequality is going to hit millions of innocent people very hard indeed.  In UK, I am expecting unemployment to reach more than 20% by Christmas and the level of homelessness will be extraordinary if the government fails to take palliative measures.

I am not saying that everyone should be equal, like the mad socialists claim, but come on fellas, let’s have some degree of sanity so that everyone in a reasonably advanced nation can at least have moderate shelter, sufficient food and healthcare, as well as living a ‘normal’ life in pursuit of happiness and security.

“Have you ever known someone who was really passionate about poverty? The kind of person who goes on short-term mission trips, donates to help the poor, and seems to truly believe that poverty can be overcome? You may have wondered if that person was really thinking straight. After all, Jesus said, “The poor you will always have with you” (Matthew 26:11). But what did Jesus mean by that? What’s the true meaning of the verse “the poor you will always have with you”?    Sometimes this verse is interpreted as if to say, “You can’t overcome poverty. It’s a useless cause. Don’t waste your money on it. Even Jesus said so.”

The biblical response to poverty is open-handedness. To be sure, the persistence of poverty is not a reason to ignore the plight of the poor, but to draw near to them with generosity. The verse in Deuteronomy makes that clear: Jesus says because the poor will always be with us, that “therefore” we should be even more generous. Some of our richest people in this world do practice generosity towards the poor in our midst; but what they really should be doing is changing this dysfunctional system that has created poverty in the first place.  The current ‘Plandemic’ has merely highlighted what has been hidden for decades or longer.

I will be talking more about poverty, especially in Britain, as the months pass by as we begin to get an appreciation of the depth of the coming economic depression which is enveloping most of the world.  The question I keep being asked is: “How is this happening?”  This short article neatly summarises the methods used by reference to the old Soviet Union.  Here is an introduction, and you can read more at:   http://worldoutofwhack.com/2020/07/28/how-a-society-unravels/

“In an interview with Edward Griffith in 1984, former KGB operative Yuri Bezmenov outlined the playbook of the Soviet Union and the staged manner in which a communist apparatus takes over a country.

The ideal recruit for the KGB were rich filmmakers, academicians and cynically egocentric people. These people held the most potential what is required to destabilize a country are narcissistic, greedy and morally devoid people. He cites that KGB recruited professors and civil right defenders to subvert and destabilize the country. He repeats again when these useful idiots serve their purpose they are to be killed or exiled. His disaffection with the KGB began after he understood what was to happen to the Pro Soviet Indian Journalists, but when he tried to get the message across, they did not believe him.

The ultimate objective of KGB was ideological subversion which was supposed to be carried out by changing perception of reality, and not be bothered by what is true or false. But rather be driven by self-interest.

He lists down four phases as to how it happens” – Read more at the above link.

Now that UK has left EUROPE I will comment on relevant EU – UK events as they arise

EU officials now believe the UK government is prepared to risk a no-deal exit when the transition period comes to an end on 31 December, and will try to pin the blame on Brussels if talks fail.

The German government, which holds the rotating presidency of the EU council, had intended to discuss Brexit during a meeting of EU ambassadors on 2 September but has now dropped the issue. “Since there hasn’t been any tangible progress in EU-UK negotiations, the Brexit item was taken off the agenda,” an EU diplomat said.

The decision matters because Angela Merkel was billed as a potential dealmaker when talks on the UK-EU future relationship reach a crucial stage this autumn.  Read more:
