It was contentious, for sure; but here is a quick summary of the performance:
- SCOTUS – Trump won by TKO
- COVID – Biden won, but close.
- Economy – A tie
- Race – A tie (Trump facts on Biden’s history versus Biden repetitive claims Trump’s a racist but no gotcha)
- Law And Order – Trump won (Biden unable to get past ‘defund’ and reform)
- Track Records – Trump won (Biden unable to get past Green New Deal malarkey)
- Election Integrity – A tie (but we might have given Trump the edge on Coup/recent ballots issues)
Overall, Biden did a lot better than many expected but on policies and straightforward facts, Trump won the first debate comfortably.
CNN’s Wolf Blitzer made it clear what the goal was:
“Clearly this is the most chaotic presidential debate that I have ever seen. That most of you have ever seen I suspect. … I wouldn’t be surprised by the way if this was the last presidential debate between the president of the United States and the former vice president of the United States but we will see.”

It was a Biden win. He showed up. I never thought he would make it to the stage.
He kept pointing to the camera and talked directly and appealed to the audience.
Yeah, he stammered a dozen times but no real gaffes.
Trump wasn’t very Presidential. He was frustrated and petulant.
I though Trump would wax his ass but Joe did far better than I thought he could. It was a tie in technical terms but Joe won the emotional elements IMO.

Bottom line: The American Citizens LOST. The debate was a total SHITSHOW.

Chris Wallace sucked as a moderator. When the League of Women Voters were organizing the debates, they were well done. The gave the candidates time to answer questions, with a rebuttal from the other candidate. Then both candidates were each allowed rebuttals. It was all very organized. Watch the Reagan/Carter debate as an example. It was very informative. Since the two parties took over the debates, they’re terrible and not worth watching.
Wallace is a POS, a horrible speaker, and a totalitarian of the highest order. He’s right up there with Fauci, Wray and Oprah in my book.

Watching the debate live, I actually wondered if they hadn’t miked into his brain. Between that and the adrenaline/amphetamine they obviously pumped him full of, Biden was surprisingly lucid and other than the incessant, outright lying, surprisingly effective.
Biggest loser? Chris Wallace. Could barely string a sentence together. Clearly shaken several times, and he made the ancient pervert, Biden, appear eloquent and well spoken by comparison. Wallace makes no bones about the fact that he too glories in the destruction of the our constitutional republic. Seeing a few of these fuckwads swing for treason would be more than gratifying. Trump is no chess player. In last nights debates, Trump got mad, overturned the table spilling all the chess pieces and the board on the floor, then strutted around claiming he won. I did not see any sign of dementia from Biden as the many fake news reports had previously claimed.
Biden was sharp and responsive, but only when the orange machine gun mouth would shut his pie hole for Biden to give an answer. The moderator clearly knew this and had to all but tell Trump to STFU. Wallace lost some control but not through any fault of his own. How do you STFU someone who just wont. Biden had enlarged pupils, really enlarged, like a shark or a doll, which was odd when you realize he was under some studio lighting. Creepy.
Then, you had Wallace running interference for him constantly, letting him run on and chastising Trump when he called Biden out on his bullshit. Interesting too how Wallace really worked to try and shut trump up over anything relating to Hunter and his malfeasance. Then Wallace worked real hard to get Trump to admit that he supported White Supremacists and was a non climate change believer.
Biden is an old hand at playing politician, he was really well rehearsed. That business of looking directly into the camera and talking to the audience like he was speaking directly to them is an old psychological trick meant to imply that the speaker is their friend and will work for them.
