I’ll give the first amen… but I’m curious as to who everyone here thinks that traitor/agent provocateur might be.

The quote from Cicero on the terrible dangers of the traitor is one of the best that has come down to us from the ancient world. If modesty allows, I would like to add something to it, though I hardly rise to the level of that great orator.
True, a nation can hardly survive traitors inside the gates. It is also true that it cannot survive the morons.
Today I read an article on another right-thinking website in which the author expresses his disappointment that so many of his military friends (the author is a retired officer) criticize President Trump for his “rudeness” in the recent debate with that old fool Joe Biden. I could only shake my head.
I served as a military officer and then had a long career in the intelligence community. Let me start by saying that most of the people I met and worked with in both institutions were solid, patriotic Americans. There were certainly exceptions. I discovered arrogant, smug pinkos and liberal idiots in the Agency and more than one actual hostile foreign agent, a very senior official (he was already under FBI investigation for espionage, I reported his overt acts, and nothing was done – he was a favorite of George Tenet, then CIA Director, and later rose to a senior position on a Congressional staff). I remember one Marine officer vigorously defending the “innocent Americans persecuted by Senator Joseph McCarthy”; these “innocents” were known at the time by anybody with a brain (the 1970´s) to be either Communists, “former” Communists, Soviet agents, or all three. Of course, since the Fall of the Wall and the release of the Venona papers. all doubt about this has been removed, but there was no excuse even back then for a U.S. military officer to be such a dupe.
I could abide the outright disloyal elements and, despite my disgust, I managed to work alongside the liberal Democrats (all of whom I viewed as potential or latent traitors; their total lack of a patriotic intellectual foundation and correct political and moral principles have always made so-called “liberals” low-hanging fruit for recruitment as spies by our enemies).
What drove me to distraction, however, was the incredible lack of historical knowledge and political childishness of so many military officer and intelligence officials. The situation has gotten even worse.
I always took my profession (or craft, or job) seriously. I am a compulsive reader and this has caused me grave problems with my wife. She has vowed to leave me if one more book arrive in the mail. I will miss her.
History, politics, and international affairs, broadly painted, are my favorite topics. This includes intense study of the Communist movement and its allied conspiracies, from the beginning to this day. I am not bragging when I say I know about as much about these fields of study as any army general or intelligence agency director.
That being the case, I simply could not believe the ignorance I saw in so many men and women who had a duty to make at least an effort to keep themselves informed on critical issues related to their professional careers.
I knew many patriotic Americans who were staunchly anti-Communist, conservative, and totally opposed to the sort of “Woke” madness infecting our country and the world. Unfortunately, most of them opposed these awful things out of gut instinct. That is fine – my gut works pretty well in these areas – but it is not sufficient. People in positions of authority need to understand in depth the sinister forces at play in the world and in our country. Knowing they are evil is just not good enough. Unless you understand how the minds of these subversives work and how they are organized you can´t fight them effectively. You also must know their history and how one group is related to another.
Case in point, Communist insurgencies. The really lethal part of a Communist insurgency is not the armed wing. The people out shooting are mere cannon fodder. The dangerous part is the network of subversives that infiltrates the judiciary, the political class, the business community, the media, and even the security forces. We see this here in the U.S. today. The Antifa and BLM radicals throwing Molotov cocktails are nothing but misfits and drones being cleverly manipulated by their masters. The true enemies of our country are found in corporate boardrooms, Silicon Valley, foundations, NGO´s, political action committees, the ACLU, the ADL, the Obama judges, and the media barons. Even the Don Lemon´s and Anderson Cooper´s are nobodies in the scheme of things.
A U.S. military officer or an intelligence officer who thinks he is a patriot but who slams Trump for being “rude” to a butt puppet of the radical Left like Biden, is a downright moron, as H-L. Mencken would say.
We are in a fight to the death with these people. There are no rules and there is no room for “civility”. Are there rules if you are mugged on the street? Are you “civil” to some subhuman trying to rape your wife? Do we give equal time to a foreign invader? No, never.
Hate Trump´s style if you like. Sneer at this hair, his gasbag orations, his twisting of the truth. But understand, all you “nice” people out there, that he is the only thing standing between us and revolution or civil war. And you had better believe your own life may be at stake. “Niceness”, and politeness, and a false civility are mortal weapons in the hands of our enemies and they use them every day against us. Wake up. There are two roads ahead of us and you damn sure better know which one to take.

SS – You make an excellent point in exposing not only the complacency, but also the downright complicity of many of the those who are receiving a paycheck to protect and defend this nation.
Senator McCarthy was absolutely 100% correct in his assertions and accusatory stance on communism’s foothold in America, even back then in the ’50s.
His downfall came when he went after the traitors in the military, evidently he touched the third rail and was too close to uncovering the planned insurgency that has only blossomed to a full on coup sixty years later. Like all good guys, he had to go.

Good stuff, SS!!

Evil DEMonS tried to initiate an illegal coup from the moment Trump was sworn in (if not before), undermined him for almost three full years over fake Russisa-Ukraine-whatever bullshit … and Biden stands up there and lies about Trump being a racist, xenophobe, and that Trump is a “clown” and should just “shut up” …… ad infinitum.

Yet, according to your military buddies Trump should behave like some emotionless Spock-ish Vulcan??!! They really want a leader with no spine??

Do me a favor, tell your military buddies that ol’ Stucky thinks they are a bunch of fucken PUSSIES!!
