This is a total non-event. Carlo Acutis, a 15 year old teenager in Italy died of leukemia in 2006. Tragic, for sure. But, nothing unusual … many children and infants die tragically every year. It’s all in God’s great plan, apparently. This should be the end of the story. Of course, it is not.
Now it gets weird. This past Saturday the Catholic Church held a beatification ceremony. Acutis is now a Saint! He’s going to be the patron saint of the Internet … which would have been given to Mark Zuckerberg … if only he wasn’t a Joo. Anyway, Carlo even has a halo!
It gets weirder. He’s not actually a saint just yet. Beatification is a major step in the sainthood process. It means the candidate can be referred to as “blessed”. I guess you can now pray to Carlo; “Dear Carlo, blessed is thy name. Can you please strike dead the bastard who hacked into my e-mail?”
More weirdness. The process requires confirmation that the candidate performed at least one one miracle. Now, Saint Carlo was once on Internet Explorer for 4 consecutive days without it crashing! Sounds like a damned miracle to me. But, the Vatican needed something sexier. So, they found it. The Vatican announced that Carlo would be beatified following [mostly unsubstantiated] claims that he cured a Brazilian boy suffering from a rare disease. He didn’t even have to go to Brazil! Carlo “cured” the boy by mere intercession. (Kinda strange, is it not, that Carlo couldn’t intercede for himself?)
More weirdness. In order to actually become a saint, a process known as Canonization, one more miracle is needed. They don’t have one yet. But, the Vatican is sure one will surface. (Perhaps one of TBP’s Catholics can pray to Carlo for healing, wealth, or fame and submit your new miracle to the Pope at www.icantbelievepeoplefallforthiscrap.com).

The reason I am triggered by such a non-story is because I believe most Americans are morans, As such, there isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that we will ever emerge victorious from our current morass. We are truly doomed as a viable nation.

Case in point, another article in today’s NY Post. It’s an editorial written by Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio in which he complains about Gov. Cuomo “The Homo” shutting down Catholic Mass. I just want to focus on one phrase. He said; — “As a bishop, a direct successor to the Apostles …” What a maroon!! As if the apostles were Italian! I guess Luke was really Luca Brasi, making us offers we can’t refuse. OTOH, there were Italians in the Gospels. Oh, yes. There were the nice people who drove the nails into Jesus’ hands and thrust the spear into his side. THAT is your real heritage, Bishop DiMarzio, you murderer of Deity.
In a country of thinking people, how can it be that McDonalds still exists? Likewise, why does the Catholic Church still exist? I don’t know, really … but, I suspect the Devil plays a role in this.

Yeah, I was in a twelve step program for recovering Catholics too. My epiphany came in 7th grade while attending a poor Hispanic parish parochial school. It was in religion class when the nun was waxing poetic on how beautiful the Vatican was with all the gold, expensive paintings, rare and expensive statuary, … , when I asked, quite sincerely, why didn’t the Pope sell some of this stuff and help our parish put on a new roof on the church. That did not go over well. As I remember it I had to see Mother Superior, the principal, and explain my outburst. It was then that I fell away from any human organized religion.

What if God desiring for man to truly be free to choose his own destiny gave man free will with real options with real consequences? Death or life for example. And spent the rest of time showing His great love for him by delivering him from his oppressors so he would be moved to make the choice to love Him in return. With the ultimate expression of this love being that God would become mortal to conquer death so that men could be made immortal through faith in Him.

I have known for quite some time organized religion to be nothing more than a psyop to fleece people from 10% of their wages. This organization falsely states that GOV is beneficent for the people under their control and operates with GOV full blessing. However, I will say that organized religion doesn’t hold a candle to organized criminal activity known as GOV. With religion at least one can chose to remove themselves from the fleecing, with GOV, especially the US GOV, one is a slave for life unless they renounce their gift of citizenship.
In my opinion, to many people worship at the altar of the false God, GOV and not at the altar of the one true God, Yahweh.
Oh and before you go all ape shit about it being jewish, Yahweh is a Hebrew name and names do not change across languages. For example, my first name is David (which is also Hebrew), it is the same in Spanish, French, German, even Greek. The pronunciation may differ but the spelling doesn’t. So why did first the Greeks, then the Romans and later the English under King James feel the need to change the name from Yahweh to God? You know throughout history there have been many deities with names that have been called a god, Apollo, Hermes, Mercury, Mars, Athena, Ra, etc, etc. In Sumeria, Baal was God. I have recently read that the Greeks could not spell Yahweh in their alphabet and therefore that is why the name changed but why would you change the Hebrew name of Yahweh to just God? No, if I am to pray to a deity and that deity is known as a Hebrew God, that has allowed gentiles to also be saved by his love and grace, I prefer to call upon his mercy by his and his son’s Hebrew name and not the term God or (bastardized term for Yehoshu’a) Jesus.
