I was born at the end of Gen X and the beginning of the Millennial Generation, and grew up in a middle class town. Life was good. Our home was modest but birthdays and Christmas were always generous, we went on yearly vacations, had 2 cars, and there was enough money for me to take dance classes and art lessons and be in Girl Scouts.
My 1940s born Dad raised me to be patriotic and proud, to love the war bird airplanes of his era as much as he does, and to respect our flag and our country as a sacred thing. I grew up thinking that being an American was the greatest gift a person could have. I grew up thinking that our country was as strong, and honest and true as my Dad. I grew up thinking I was free.
As an adult, I have witnessed the world I grew up in fall to ruin. I have watched as our currency and our economy have been shamelessly corrupted beyond redemption. Since we’ve been married, my husband and I TWICE had our meager investment savings gutted by the market that we were told to invest in, now that pensions no longer exist and we working stiffs are on our own. We will be working until we die, because the Social Security we’ve been forced to pay into has also been robbed from under us.
I have watched as our elected officials enter Congress as ordinary folks and leaves as multi millionaires. I have watched my blue collar husband get up at an ungodly hour every day and come home with an aching back that we pray will hold out long enough to get him to old age in one piece. Outside of shoes, socks and underwear, almost everything my family wears was bought used. We’ve been on one vacation in 12 years.
We don’t have cell phones, or cable, or any sort of streaming services, just a landline and internet. We hardly ever eat out. Our house is 1400 square feet, no air conditioning. I cook from scratch and I can and I garden and I raise chickens for eggs and meat and I moonlight selling things on Etsy. Still it is barely enough to pay the bills that go up every year while service quality and the longevity of goods goes down. What I just described is the life you can live on 60K a year without going into debt.
At last calculation, when you consider all of the federal, state and local taxes plus registration and user fees, Medicare and SS payroll taxes, almost a third of what my family earns is stolen by the govt each year. What’s left doesn’t go far, just enough to cover the basics and save a little for when the wolf howls at the door.
I watched as my family’s health insurance was gutted and destroyed. Our private market insurance, which we had to have because my husband’s employer is too small to have a group plan, was made illegal. We were left with the option of either buying an Obamacare plan with unaffordable deductibles and insanely ridiculous out of pocket maxes, or paying the very gov’t that destroyed our healthcare a fine for not buying the gov’t mandated plan that we cannot afford. We now have short term insurance that isn’t really insurance at all, and I live in fear of one of us getting injured or sick with anything I can’t fix from the medicine cabinet.
I have watched as education, which was already sketchy when I was a kid, became an all out joke of wholly unmathematical math, gold stars for all, and self-loathing anti-Americanism. My family has taken an enormous financial hit as I stay home to home school our child. At least she’ll be able to do old-fashioned math well enough to see how much they are screwing her. A silver lining to every cloud, I guess.
I’ve sat by and held my tongue as I was called deplorable and a bitter clinger and told that I didn’t build that. I’ve been called a racist and a xenophobe and a chump and even an “ugly folk.” I’ve been told that I have privilege, and that I have inherent bias because of my skin color, and that my beloved husband and father are part of a horrible patriarchy. Not one goddamn bit of that is true, but if I dare say anything about it, it will be used as evidence of my racism and white fragility.
Raised to be a Republican, I held my nose and voted for Bush, the Texas-talking blue blood from Connecticut who lied us into 2 wars and gave us the unpatriotic Patriot Act. I voted for McCain, the sociopathic neocon songbird “hero” that torpedoed the attempt to kill the Obamacare that’s killing my family financially. I held it again and voted for Romney, the vulture capitalist skunk that masquerades as a Republican while slithering over to the Democrat camp as often as they’ll tolerate his oily, loathsome presence.
And I voted for Trump, who, if he did nothing else, at least gave a resounding Bronx cheer to the richly deserving smug hypocrites of DC. Thank you for that Mr. President, on behalf of all of us nobodies. God bless you for it.
And now I have watched as people who hate me and mine and call for our destruction blatantly and openly stole the election and then gaslighted us and told us that it was honest and fair. I am watching as the GOP does NOTHING about it. They’re probably relieved that upstart Trump is gone so they can get back to their real jobs of lining their pockets and running interference for their corporate masters. I am watching as the media, in a manner that would make Stalin blush, is silencing anyone who dares question the legitimacy of this farce they call democracy. I know, it’s a republic, but I am so tired of explaining that to people I might as well give in and join them in ignorance.
I will not vote again; they’ve made it abundantly clear that my voice doesn’t matter. Whatever irrational, suicidal lunacy the nanny states thinks is best is what I’ll get. What it decided I need is a geriatric pedophile who shouldn’t be charged with anything more rigorous than choosing between tapioca and rice pudding at the old folks home, and a casting couch skank who rails against racism while being a descendant of slave owners.
I’m free to dismember a baby in my womb and kill it because “my body my choice”, but God help me if I won’t cover my face with a germ laden Linus-worthy security blanket or refuse let them inject genetically altering chemicals into my body or my child’s. I can be doxed, fired, shunned and destroyed for daring to venture that there are only 2 genders as proven by DNA, but a disease with a 99+% survival rate for most humans is a deadly pandemic worth murdering an economy over. Because science. Idiocracy is real, and we are living it. Dr. Lexus would be an improvement over Fauci.

I am not alone. Not sure how things continue to function when millions of citizens no longer feel any loyalty to or from the society they live in.
I was raised to be a lady, and ladies don’t curse, but fuck these motherfuckers to hell and back for what they’ve done to me, and mine, and my country. All we Joe Blow Americans ever wanted was a little patch of land to raise a family, a job to pay the bills, and at least some illusion of freedom, and even that was too much for these human parasites. I know, mine is a working family too, but at the same time, what is the point of all that work if we lose what little remains of our freedom? Read up on the Revolutionary War, a large number of the people who backed it ended up broke by the end, and they considered it worthwhile nonetheless. If we did state capitols none of them are more than a few hours drive from everywhere in the state. We could come and go as possible…stay for a few days as possible then leave, as the next wave of thousands comes in. There are millions of fed up people in every state, if even a fraction of us went at a time, as we are able, it would work. The loss of a few day’s pay (or of vacation time, if you have it), no matter how damaging, is nowhere near the cost of the total loss of our freedom. My husband and I have a small nest egg saved, and I would be glad to use some of it to go and make some noise. They’ll end up stealing it from us anyways, with taxation or inflation, I might as well use it on something I hold dear. I want TPTB to hear, loud and clear, that we will NOT allow them to lie to us any longer, it has gone far enough. There are more than enough of us to PEACEFULLY but forcefully make that point. If Hong Kong can do it, with the Chinese dragon literally at their throat, then we can too.
And if it doesn’t work at the state level, then I say the full 70 million of us head to DC and chant Trump throughout the entire inauguration ceremony just to royally piss them off. I am not convinced this election is over. But if Biden ends up in office, I think about 50% of the country should ‘Go Galt’ – withdraw, work just hard enough to survive, etc… In other words, starve the beast as best you can. It doesn’t matter much since they will just print whatever they need, but maybe it will hasten the inevitable end, and once everything falls apart perhaps we can rebuild.

“All county boards of election are hereby ordered, pending further order of the Court, to comply with the following guidance provided by the Secretary of the Commonwealth on October 28 and November 1, namely, (1) that all ballots received by mail after 8:00 p.m. on November 3 be segregated and kept “in a secure, safe and sealed container separate from other voted ballots,” and (2) that all such ballots, if counted, be counted separately.”

What is that supposed to do? Just curious.
That likely would toss PA back to Trump if upheld. PA law is only votes received by 8pm Election Day can be counted. PA courts tossed that out. But it is PA law for certain. And it is attached to the law that allows for postal votes. And it is an inseparable law – ie you cannot toss one portion of it without tossing the lot. And if you toss the lot, that means no postal votes to be counted. Is what I understand anyway.
So, good chance PA goes to Trump. Not that I am a lawyer.
Those ballot are already mixed beyond measure. At best, the “late” ballots will be majority Trump ballots. It gives the SC cover for the false hope.
It doesn’t matter. ALL mail-in votes have to be tossed, period. That’s what the law states.
When they quit counting the votes Wednesday night was when the fraud commenced. You NEVER stop counting during an election, never! They saw Biden was losing so they quit counting, did the math and determined how many votes they had to gin up to put him over the top.
The biggest problem is there seems to be no way to stop cheating when it is blatantly obvious, such as now. The state government is too corrupt to do anything and are usually in on it. So who is responsible for ensuring a fair election under those circumstances? It appears nothing but lawsuits.
Pray for the SCOTUS to order a do-over in Pennsylvania. With laser focus of the entire world on such a never-before election result the do-over vote likely will mirror what the original vote was had it not been hijacked.

Only then does the nation get an honest result.

To be clear, only PA legislators could change anything regarding the mail-in ballot law. The PA courts intervened by allowing an extended deadline on mail-in ballots. The law stated if the PA court did anything to effect the law, it voided the entire mail-in ballot law. Which means, ALL mail-in ballots are now voided.
Ok, so, that would still put Biden at 270, correct?
No, because Arizona is still in play. The Justice Department has actually been brought in on that one because the Republican state legislators referred charges to them.
Georgia should do the same, but probably won’t. But there are lawsuits pending there.
There are also still lawsuits against Michigan and Wisconsin that haven’t been completely resolved yet.

Across the country, farms and ranches have US flags waving admist November fields, canyonlands, mountains and streams. As I gazed upon these waving flags displayed in various sizes, I was encouraged to witness a reolve by each landowner to remain firm against the onslaught of political attacks. These waving flags appeared more as a declaration about freedom than patriotism, a declaration about disapproving of abuse of powers and exploitation of children.

8) Lowering the legal age of consent to age 12 or younger. The UN has been advocating for this for years.
9) Abortion restrictions will be eliminated. Infanticide, for “compassionate reasons” of course, MAY become legalized up to 3 days after birth.
10) Euthanasia – Assisted suicide will become legal across the United States.
11) IMMEDIATE GUN CONTROL MEASURES will be implemented across the United States.
Protecting yourself, your home, your property, or your family with anything other than your voice or a call to 9-1-1, will become criminalized.
12) Lawlessness will increase exponentially, jails and prisons will drastically reduce their populations as states decriminalize/legalize former crimes.
Case in point is Commie State of Oregon which has now decriminalized ALL drugs, and legalized the use of psilocybin (a hallucinogen) in “therapeutic settings only.”.
Expect a massive influx of drug addicts to pour into the state. Expect an enormous increase of drug traffickers and drug trafficking within the state. Expect an exponential increase in property crimes and robberies as formerly jailed addicts will now be free to run the streets without fear of arrest or jail time. Expect an increase in traffic accidents and deaths within the state.
13) There will be no such thing as an “illegal alien”, there will only be “undocumented Democrats.”

She’s didn’t say they were poor. She indicates who much money is taken out of her husband’s taxes and how much they had to pay for insurance. That does not equate to poverty.
NOBODY can afford decent insurance on the private market because it no longer exists. If you are a small employer who cannot get a group plan (and we can’t, not enough FT employees), your choice is short term or Obamacare. And to make matters worse, the self employed and people like us who work for non-group plan small employers are not allowed to deduct the cost of health insurance from their income. If my husband worked for a larger employer, they could pay all or part of our healthcare insurance costs and it would not be counted as income. In our case, Obama and his minions from hell made that illegal, and we have to pay for our insurance out of post tax dollars. Obamacare’s premiums are affordable, but the deductibles and out of pocket expenses are not, they would expose my family to far too much risk. The point of insurance is to shield you from risk, and these policies do not.
I have no insurance. But then again, I don’t use allopathic medicine.

Who exactly do I peep to? My husband’s boss’s hands are tied, he can’t magically make affordable group insurance appear. He knows how much our insurance costs and added it to my husband’s pay, but we still get tax penalized. And since insurance is going up insanely every year, it eats any raises my husband gets. He has doubled the sales at the farm he runs (it was not profitable when he started working there) and yet the monetary rewards for that are eaten as fast as he can earn them. Like any business, they cannot jack the price of everything too high or they will fold. All of the customers are in the same boat we are in, squeezed ever tighter, there isn’t much room to raise prices. My husband has brought on numerous new lines of income for the business, but many are still in the development stage, maybe it will get better when they are fully running. His boss cannot afford to give him COLA raises and performance raises too. He’s an honest guy and not looking to rook us, but I’ve seen the books and it just isn’t there. All of the other costs of farming have gone up too, our healthcare cost is just one item in a long line of expenses. We’re stuck, as are most small biz people. My case is not even remotely unique. Healthcare costs (and their evil twin sister of gov’t red tape) are a boa constrictor gradually killing small biz America.
I bitched no end at the insurance companies, but what do they care? I’m sure my family has heard me peep until they are sick to the teeth of it. One Obamacare rep I spoke with told me that I simply didn’t understand the system and that it was affordable because their data said it was. THAT is a day I wanted to knock out some teeth.

What has occurred has largely happened as we allowed it, and we did not take responsibility for our own actions, our own decisions, our own welfare. We stood by and fed at the trough, happy to be eating, and oblivious that we were being fattened for the slaughter. Allowing handouts, and accepting such, started us down the path to where we are now. From there it went to the destruction of family, excessive tax burdens, generations of minorities never having to work, and the current situation where the parasite class may never again lose an election.
It should piss us all off. But what will we do about it? I do not know. Protest and shut down the entire economy until they relent would be my suggestion. A full reset. But I do not see it happening.

Plan on layoffs of your employees in 2021. When you lay them off, blame it on the election and Biden. Resistance is about hurting the Bolshevik Democrats, and the economy and business is their weakness. Ask for as much government dole in 2021 as you can. Stop working long hours, weekends in 2021. Once they get in power, the most successful resistors in communist countries were those who overtly gave support but covertly resisted by draining the system of resources.

I’m done too, but here’s what I’m done with: I’m done with being afraid to stand up for Jesus, and I’m done with being told the Protocols of the Learned Elders is a fraud, and I’m as done with Fox News and every last media site as I can be. I’m sorry to say that the country you grew up believing in, that I grew up believing in, was dead and gone long before we were born. Most of us just didn’t realize it. And now, finally, the pretense has finally fallen away. And there is now one things we must all do; starve the beast. Let me say upfront, not filing and not paying income taxes is not the best strategy to fight our criminal overlords at this stage. For those of us who are done, like OHMama and most of you TBPers, there are other tactics that have the potential for a greater good to result and without the downside that comes with tangling with the IRS.
Have a little experience in that arena.
Didn’t file for 27 years. Didn’t go to jail. There are several million non- filers. There are a multitude of reasons why that many people don’t pay income taxes and don’t file tax returns. My reasons were to protest an unjust, yet a legal tax – illegally applied to the average wage earner. Fought the IRS and my State Tax criminals for about 10 years. You won’t succeed , I didn’t. A few I know personally, actually won, fascinating, but a story too long and complicated to write in this comment. They paid a great price to win. You’ll have to ask them if the fight and the pain was worth it.
I gave up fighting them because the tax authorities care not about following their own laws. I eventually was left alone and for the most part remained unmolested. Life went on. April 15th became an ordinary day for me (wouldn’t you like to experience that feeling). I don’t recommend you do what I did. I advise people to file. I endured because I was self employed , was and still am a stubborn man when it comes to principle, and take a perverse delight in standing up to bullies and thugs. It is not a path for the faint hearted. The experience opened my eyes, built my character, taught me a lot of lessons about how our government actually works, and gave me an education in tax law and history. I was given the red pill and shallowed it knowingly – years before the that term “red pill” entered our lexicon universe.
I went back into the system, (you pretty have to as you approach age 65) not as difficult (so far) as I thought it would be. Got professional help to re-enter – not perfect, but better than I could do on my own.
Again let me be clear for those with poor reading comprehension skills.
Not filing, not paying income taxes is a bad idea. File, but file the last possible day, and pay the bastards the absolute lowest amount you can. If you can’t figure out your return, hire the best, most competent and most aggressive tax accountant you can. Move to another State, if it will reduce your tax bill. Put your efforts in positive projects that can’t be taxed. Even if it is growing a garden, you will be feeding yourself and your family, while at the same time, starving the beast just a little.
Fighting the IRS is not the battle we should be fighting right now.

I’ve got my sights on more deliciously devious ways to feed us and starve them. I am looking forward to this next fight. TPTB will not see it coming until it is too late to stop me and the legions of others. The stupid bastards have it coming to them.
If you’re getting paid under the table, yes, you can avoid taxes. If you are working above board, you better pay.
Just ask Peter Schiff, whose father went to jail for tax evasion because of his own tax protest. They may not get you now, but it will come.

Getting paid under the table or working above board, are two phrases that in reality inadequately describe all the variables. It is not a simple either or – you can avoid paying or you better pay scenarios. There are all sorts of ways you can get caught up and entangled by the IRS. Expect a fight if you go from filing every year to not filing. I imagine now that it was easier to avoid the IRS back in the 1990s and the early ought ought years than today. You have no privacy protection today and it is becoming near impossible to live a fairly normal life without being online. Again, it is a loser game to not file. The IRS will lie in wait for you to pop up. I came up voluntarily. There is a ten year statute of limitations on unfiled returns and back taxes under certain conditions. Criminal tax fraud can go back further. The IRS has several options for tax amnesty. They won’t tell you and certainly won’t help you take advantage of these programs. I think I might share with the TBP audience how it all concludes when I finally resolve my situation with the IRS. It is quite a story. Certainly a cautionary tale of what you can expect when exerting your god given rights against a criminal, predatory government, who has unlimited resources to fight you. I was certainly naive 30 years ago. The whole experience taught me many things, probably the most important is acceptance of whatever happens in the face of evil and to live without fear.
You mentioned Peter Schiff, never met the guy, but have listened to him and followed his writings for years. I respect much of what he says.
His Father Irwin Schiff, I knew, actually met the guy , and studied all of his writings and books. I, along with others in my tax law study groups picked apart everything he compiled over the years. Didn’t agree with all of the arguments that Irwin used against the IRS. Some of Irvin’s legal points were useful, others were crazy. You don’t have to agree with every legal theory or tax argument, you find what works and be quick to let go of what doesn’t.
Irwin was brazen in his defiance of the IRS and the US Government. He had an office on one of the main boulevards in Las Vegas. He installed a huge business sign that said – Pay no income tax.
He was a high visibility figure in the tax honesty movement. The government had to take him out. And they did. I and others followed his legal battles and his eventual big court case in and around 2005 (I have forgotten the exact date, such a long time ago). We read all the court transcripts after they were available.
Of course he was convicted. The judge was extremely biased, acted not as an impartial juris. It was very unfair and the gov railroaded the guy. Irvin made it easier for the gov lawyers and judge, because he made arguments that he should not have pursued and the gov capitalized on his errors. He did not deserve the lengthy prison he received. He was a political prisoner.
He died a few years ago in prison. Irwin was not in good health, the request to be released early due to his terminally failing health was denied. I was sad the day I heard he died and that he died in prison.
Back in the late 1990s, I actually introduced Irwin to a film maker friend of mine who taped a series of interviews with Irwin. Wonder what became of those tapes. Don’t think they ever got produced into a finished product. That was over 23, 24 years ago.
The man was courageous and fearless. He didn’t make the right arguments at the time to trip up the IRS and escape their clutches. However, you gotta respect the guy for standing up to the government when the IRS thugs were trampling on the rights of all Americans. Our malevolent rulers at still at it, although it appears they are accelerating their murderous methods.
I am sure his son Peter was very sad surrounding the conditions under which his father died, but he can be proud of his father for his courage and fearlessness to stand up against a tyrannical government.
I met lot of the other characters in the tax honesty movement back in the day. Yes, Irwin was stubborn and convinced in his beliefs (a fatal flaw). You could say he was a cankerous old man, but he was also engaging and charming.
I got the feeling when I met the man that he relished the fight against the IRS. You might say he was a happy warrior.
I am glad I had the opportunity to meet the man and shake his hand. We need more men like him today.
Enjoined hearing about your knowing Irwin Schiff. I, too, think he was a courageous guy . But I think he was misguided.
The majority of people are not up to fighting the IRS and won’t take that chance. The IRS would be my own last fight when it comes to government. Even Lew Rockwell says you pay your taxes because that’s the easiest way for them to take you out. And if you look at history, it’s the only way they could convict Al Capone and imprison him.
The IRS seems to have the greatest power of all to jail the average people. So good luck with influencing average Americans to join your tax protest.

Your voting record reflects a belief in government that is and was unwarranted and now that that belief has been torn from you, you are “done?”
No, dear lady, your work has only just begun and Liberty needs you now more than ever. Belief has no place in a realist’s view of the world and her or himself. What is changes only when we see what is, and belief only gets in the way of seeing. You are the world and can’t be “done” even should you decide to be. As I said in another comment on the thread, I have been awake to the corruption for a long time, since university days (graduated in ’01) really, but this last election is the final nail in the coffin. Up until now, I have tried to live a debt free life different from the consumerism norm, but still participated by voting, etc, and holding onto some hope that things might get better, which I will admit was naive. It is hard to totally let go of something you were raised to believe in. Obviously that is a dead end, and I am now done. I will NEVER stop believing in the USA as it was conceived to exist, but what it is on paper and what it is in reality are too far apart to reconcile at this point.
America will survive the United States.

Yes. If you aren’t free to leave a relationship, you flat out are not free. The Civil War insured that the states are stuck in the union like an abused person in a bad marriage. What makes marriage strong is that both people are free to leave, but they choose to stay because they feel stronger and better together than apart. Both of you are always aware that you have to treat the other partner fairly or else they might decide to go. Same way with the gov’t. If states could leave, the federal gov’t would have to be more fair with them, or they might decide to end the relationship. Since states aren’t free to leave, the gov’t rides roughshod over them without any fear of reprisal. It’s insane.

What I’d like to address right now is that we’re all Americans. People all around the world look at us and believe we’re fighters, born warriors, people with great pride and not afraid to speak our minds. The eyes of the world are on us. The ones’ without a voice must be grinding their teeth as we “lie down” and take this abuse. We need to fight. We need to show the “elite” that we won’t put up with this any longer. They only have power cause we gave them that said power. It’s time to take it back.

I’m glad you asked. So what was the main tool used by the “elite” for the past four years? The media. They used constant disinformation against us and actually profited from some of it. The first thing to get a grip over would be that. Silence the mainstream by making it irrelevant and completely discredit it. Once the realm of information is controlled then we remove the dinosaurs in Congress and the senate by establishing individuals who actually give a damn about the American people and not these establishment puppets we see in there right now. Once true patriots are in, have them remove all laws and regulations that go against the constitution. Third wave would be establish patriotic teachers and professors into schools in an attempt to eliminate the brainwashing. And as for the communists and all those who sold out the American people and the American dream and forced us into pointless wars, let God sort them out.

I’ve been talking on her for quite a while about breaking up the MSM. The rest is a pipe dream. As far as education, take your kids out of public schools, period.
I wouldn’t call it entirely a pipe dream. Things like this can happen if the flow of information isn’t blocked as it is now. People seek the truth. For a lot of people it’s almost like instinct to find it. The things I said wouldn’t happen over night. But one possibility that can be done in short term is to call out those responsible and never let them live it down. Like get in their face and in front of everyone and record it. We as decent human beings must take a stand. Enough sitting on the side lines. Take the fight to them and show them that we aren’t afraid.
Any “real” protest doesn’t make a difference. Those are broken up immediately. Only the ones that are sanctioned and that “seem” to make a difference are the ones like BLM. But they’ll be kicked to the curb as well once they’re no longer needed. Getting in their face gets you nowhere.
You’re still not telling me how we “take a stand.”

That was a question I had in a response to Ohmama. 60K in Virginia all armed protesting the Governor Northams gun control laws. Made no difference at all. He went ahead and continued with his harsh gun control laws regardless. They are all laughing at us.

To me the scary thing is all the idiots who are clueless. I’ve had plans to go to Puerto Rico for the tax haven but its soon to become a state. So maybe Panama, if I did leave how long before the walls close in again and once Im dead what about my kids or their kids. Is it going to take some violence to take back what is ours.
