It’s Perfectly Clear

A secessionist

Making the vote irrelevant makes secession relevant.

By Robert Gore at Straight Line Logic

If he gets anything approaching an honest vote count Trump will win in a landslide.

The Corruptocracy,” Robert Gore, October 25, 2020

I stand by my statement. It’s obvious that Trump didn’t get “anything approaching an honest vote count.” One of the better crime scene investigations I’ve seen is “The 2020 Election: Fuckery Is Afoot,” by blogger Correia45, and I’ve posted others as well. As the litigation-filled days go by, we’re sure to find out more about the Democrats’ electoral fraud.

I won’t venture a guess as to whether such disclosure and litigation will ultimately lead to awarding Trump the election, but I have my doubts. The corruption runs too deep. If Biden wins, his camarilla will try to explain away the obvious with talk of glitches and anomalies, all of which mysteriously broke their way. They shouldn’t bother; they’ll be fooling no one and it just adds to the rage.

Good often emerges from even the worst situations. The good emerging from this one is that the veil is completely lifted, the election provides transcendent clarity. Many have already peaked under the veil. Those who refuse to grasp what is now appallingly obvious are too dense, deluded or corrupt to be of concern, and should be left to whatever ignominious ends fate has in store for them.

This election has made it made perfectly clear that we live in a corruptocracy. We can’t vote corruptocracy out any more than the people of the Soviet Union could have voted out communism (also a corruptocracy) and for the same reason: the vote itself is fundamentally corrupt. If Trump loses, it clearly discredits the notion embraced by the losers of every election: wait til next time. Next time is likely to be even more corrupt.

What’s clear to those of us who voted for Trump is if we want to get back what we cherish about America, we’re going to have to fight for it. Freedom is not free, and neither are individual rights, the rule of law, capitalism, peace, or the opportunity to build a better life.

Although I and others have suggested some sort of semi-amicable divorce for our bitterly divided country, that’s not going to happen because of the nature of the division. As I said in “The Corruptocracy,” the division is between the productive class and those it supports.

After this election there are undoubtedly millions of disgusted Trump supporters who would embrace a split in a heartbeat, but peaceful secession is precluded by the fundamental flaw at the core of every collectivist ideology: governments don’t produce, they steal. Leaches never desires separation. The blue needs the red; man cannot live on high tech, media, crony capitalism, and finance alone.

The battle is joined, collectivists versus producers. Tactically, there’s no dumber strategy than waging war against those who support you, but their pretensions notwithstanding, collectivists are never all that bright.

If Biden is declared the winner, Covid-19 restrictions are no longer necessary to hamstring the economy, discredit Trump, and justify mail-in voting fraud. The precedents have been set and a scary germ story can always be concocted when needed to frighten and subjugate those who are easily frightened and subjugated. If the collectivists have a brain in their collective head they’ll quickly lift all the restrictions to resuscitate economies so their collectivist governments will have something to steal. On any honest accounting for pension and medical liabilities, most of them are already bankrupt.

SLL reader SW Richmond recently commented:

if one looks at this map:

2016 Electoral Map by county. “Centralia” states are predominantly red.

…one can see the geographic answer to our problem: “Centralia”.
Centralia includes the entire South except Virginia, extends north and west to the mountain states, Midwest and Arizona. “Centralia” has copious access to ports and harbors, energy, food, internal transportation, manufacturing, fresh water, military assets including nukes. Centralia does not include VA, MD, PA, NY, etc, nor CA, OR, WA. MN, IL, WI and MI can choose. We may desire to include Jefferson. A not-so-great migration would ensue much like during the dust bowl. Voter registrations could be reviewed before migrants were accepted.

This is not a drill. It is about survival.

This most definitely is not a drill, it is about the paramount issue that defines human history and philosophy: who decides the terms of an individual’s survival, the individual or those who rule by violence in the name of divine right, the collective, some other vicious justification, or naked force?

The idea of individual rights protected by the government was the foundation of the American experiment. It was and has been imperfectly realized; it is an ideal and humanity rarely attains its ideals. Government is and always will be the antithesis of that still revolutionary ideal. The US government’s massive expansion has been at the cost of the people’s liberty and has destroyed most of their rights. That destruction has been ongoing since the beginning of the republic and Trump has done nothing to stop or reverse it. Philosophical insight and consistency are not among his virtues.

Nevertheless, a Biden administration will be worse, much worse. The Democrats now openly aspire to the collectivist ideal—the complete subjugation of the individual to the state. We’ve gotten a preview of coming attractions with coronavirus totalitarianism, which has obliterated the few freedoms and joys left to Americans. For the millions of Americans who voted for him, including me, Trump represented the last, best hope for what we consider the American way of life.

There’s no going back, and the way forward is for those who cherish the American ideals of individual rights, freedom, limited government, the rule of law, and equality before that law to break away from Washington’s and it’s aligned states’ corruptocracy and sunder the ties that bind us. Nations and governments are not cast in stone for time and all eternity.

Certainly the bankrupt dis-United States and its government aren’t. The bill is coming due for the debt orgy and an unprecedented and catastrophic global economic cataclysm will take down whomever is unlucky enough to be the president. A defeated Trump would dodge that bullet. The resulting chaos will be unmanageable by a government that produces only debt, can steal little or nothing from a bankrupt economy, cannot borrow at anything but ruinous interest rates, and which must cover its soaring budget deficits with scrip it either prints or creates via computer entries, whether or not it outlaws real money (gold) or forces its increasingly worthless scrip to stay in the banking system.

At that time, an organized secession movement has a real chance. A house divided against itself cannot stand. Collapse will be freedom’s staunchest ally if the moment is seized. It won’t be easy and it won’t be without blood. Until it happens, prepare for the worst, it is assuredly coming and coming soon, but work towards a brighter future in a nation that does not yet exist.

For those who don’t want to wait, almost six years ago (January 7, 2015) I published “Revolution in America,” which presents a nonviolent way to take down the government by attacking it at its weakest point. It requires the collective action of millions of people and at that time I believed the recommended course of action would remain hypothetical. Things change. Although the hour is late, any significant fraction of Trump’s rightfully enraged 71 million voters could still put the plan into effect. The article merits a second look. Please pass it, and this article, on.

“which presents a nonviolent way to take down the government by attacking it at its weakest point. It requires the collective action of millions of people”I suppose worth a shot but feel that violence would be unleashed on the non taxpayers and then, well,as I have said before”Make your vote really count” Vote .308

Try any peaceful means possible to end this insanity but, feel will only result in violence to those engaging in peaceful means, sad we have reached this point, but, will have to WHATEVER it takes to right the course.

We have had the soapbox(i.e. media/social media) stolen from us,seems the jury box stolen with corrupt pols and ag’s,seems they are trying to steal the voting box from us,really, then only one box left.

Well I don’t see any how ? As I expected.

We have lots of dry kindle but no spark.
I’m optimistic of a recursion occurring should there be a spark.

How about buying goods from sanctioned red state distribution areas on line?

How about group food rates from distributors in exchange for free luxury accommodations for truckers?

We have to make things very difficult for the collectivists….not in a violent/kinetic way but with action. Blockade the large cities, cut the access by road, rail and air. Cut the communication lines, cut the power lines. Close the water reservoirs, walk off the job.

Large tractor-trailers will make a mess of the roads and massive boulders on the rails moved by large construction equipment……nobody gets hurt, nothing destroyed but access is denied. We have seen many BLM tactics of blocking highways and bridges……but being the low IQ asshats that they are…….not overly effective. They call it “Direct Action”….and now is the time.

Marches will not work and the ANTIFA/BLM street brown shirts will beat up the middle-aged white folks of the new resistance.

Go get some ham radios while you can. Meet your neighbors if you haven’t already.

You are now a partisan or a slave….take your pick.

I’ve suggested that our blockades could be legal. Planned times during rush hour exiting the last ramp before bridges. Say Fort Lee NJ.

Cause enough inconvenience people won’t go over the bridge. Tolls are expensive. And deprive the corrupt NY government money.

MH- nobody gets hurt, nothing destroyed but access is denied. – I can see that happening for, oh, about 10 fucking minutes before a whole lot of people get hurt and the shit hits the fan. Surely, you can’t possibly believe that blockading the very people responsible for burning and looting their own cities, wouldn’t immediately engage in some type of retaliatory strike.
We can hypothesize, but please try to keep it plausible. They already hate us before we deny access to anything of theirs.

And make no mistake the rule of law will be in place for a while, eroding quickly but still in place. Of course these fucktards are going to sally forth from the urban areas to arrest the country/ex-urban terrorists. Well unless they have US military air assets, satellites etc…..a country boy can survive and do quite well against Lenco Bearcats and lightly armed LEO’s. There will be casualties and lots of them. But they can’t be everywhere all of the time…..throw away your cell phones if you join the resistance. Anybody with a cell phone is likely a traitor…and on and on……remember to be a successful resistance fighter….all you have to do is not lose. That’s it.

4th Gen warfare, the insurgent by “not losing” wears down those in charge and gradually controls more of the battle space…..eventually moving into open conflict. The Government has to protect everywhere all of the time….while the insurgent picks targets for direct action, protests, demonstrations, kinetic actions etc. Third world savages with limited assets and poor training have tied down super powers (including the US) many times. We didn’t want this, we wanted to be left alone, I hope the SCOTUS does the right thing but that won’t solve the problem.

If the grid went down in the NE and the W coast, it would bring with it chaos which would make it easier for the freedom loving areas of the country to set out on our own. Just my thoughts, but it will take an outside influence of some sort to make this happen.

The Russians are far more likely to initiate something between the right and left rather than do something in our face. I could see the Russians taking out some of the grid and without electricity, the urban dwellers will be knocking each other off as fast as possible. Within 30 days, 75% of them will be gone. If Trump loses, it clearly discredits the notion embraced by the losers of every election: wait til next time. Next time is likely to be even more corrupt.

And

After this election there are undoubtedly millions of disgusted Trump supporters who would embrace a split in a heartbeat, but peaceful secession is precluded by the fundamental flaw at the core of every collectivist ideology: governments don’t produce, they steal. Leaches never desires separation. The blue needs the red; man cannot live on high tech, media, crony capitalism, and finance alone.

And

A house divided against itself cannot stand.

In the aftermath of the election, I had a thought cross my mind as follows: How ’bout Trump be president of the red states and let Biden be president of the blue ones? If that were feasible, then I would expect an exodus of Trump voters from blue areas and moving into red states and Biden voters flocking from red states into blue regions.

Maybe the political migrants could even just swap houses, ya know?

Except the real divide is not measured by state lines, per se, but, rather, it’s a matter of rural versus urban and ideological territories separated by allegorical fence lines of values and morality.

Besides, even if Trump could preside over the red states and Biden over the blue, it would mark the end of America as founded.

Indeed, a house divided against itself cannot stand .

That is a Biblical maxim that calls to mind the parable of the wheat and chaff – and the impossibility of separating them prior to harvest.

If America were allowed to divorce, I imagine many of the Rural Reds would sign the papers quite hastily. However, as Robert writes above, the Blues “cannot live on high tech, media, crony capitalism, and finance alone” – and especially not without taxpayer-funded government welfare.

Perhaps Pedophile Joe will become president. Or maybe Trump will pull off a legal and political Hail Mary. But, no matter the outcome, all of the king’s horses and all of the king’s men will not put the nation together again.

So we’ll see what happens.

In the meantime, last evening I watched some little kids playing in my neighbor’s field and climbing on top of some round hay bales there. Before the setting sun the hair on their heads was lit up like match tips. In the distance, I heard a dog barking and… laughter.

For me, it was just another lesson in humility; a reminder of mankind throughout history as fleas fighting each other to steer the dog. Honestly, in quiet moments like that, it is pretty funny. Even when I’m not laughing.

Thank you to Robert for the words and to Jim for providing the platform to type out loud.

I see the same thing. How does a divided state like Texas (where I be) secede from fed.gross when the conservative rural communities and urban communities can’t seem to coexist? We’re not “Texans” any longer.

Good if not great article. I have to ask, where can a man/woman and family go to live under the Constitution we once all cherished? When do we begin to gather together to discuss forming a new country of free individuals since there seems to be a portion of the population that wants to live under socialism?? The corruption of this last election will not allow both forms of governance to coexist.

MarshRabbit, your ability to search for stuff on the Internet is impressive, but it’s a good thing you weren’t around in 1775. You would have told the Founders not to secede from England because they were committing treason against England. Of course, in your defense, most people are just as stupid as you are. I am always amazed at the amount of cognitive dissonance it must take to believe that the American Revolution was a righteous event, and yet believe that if the exact same thing was done again today (albeit against the behemoth on the Potomac instead of against the British Empire) that it would be wrong. Yet that is what most Americans believe.

Benford’s Law is a statistical concept that some argue can suggest that fraud exists in any of a wide variety of systems that have a numerical conclusion, such as financial documents, scientific studies, or election results. For the numerically inclined it is a very useful tool.

In January, 2017 WaPo wrote in support of using a variety of election auditing tools to assure fair elections and included the linked reference to a study showing the validity of using Benford’s Law in-get this-the then recent Russian election.

Trump’s team-or anyone else with interest in capturing and analyzing reported vote totals by precinct-can test whether there is a hint of fraud in any given vote total. If there are massive instances of apparent fraud then there should be a judicial solution available to save the integrity of the American vote. If there is no judicial backbone in this matter then there is no longer a country worth fighting for.

Remember, the IRS was able to bring down Al Capone through the skillful use of numbers.

Watch for WaPo to soon poo-poo the use of analytical forensic tools to detect election fraud now that such investigations are no longer in their interest.

Just keep in mind that a numerical “hint” at fraud is wholly insufficient, possibly even immaterial in a court of law. Actual established facts of fraud must be found. There is always an absolute right to dispute facts by a counterparty. This foundational aspect of the judicial system makes for a very long-winded process. The issues in this type of Court action must be resolved in an incredibly short time period. It will be a genuine miracle if the Judiciary actually prevents the fraud in process.

Thanks for another thought provoking article Robert. I have always enjoyed your work.

When I 1st started working at my present employer 20+ years ago I was still under the false assumption that voting mattered. My coworker who started at roughly the same time was more interested in chasing tail and partying, never having time to follow politics.

A few years later the Ron Paul movement opened my eyes to many things. My last vote until this year was RP for president. My wife and I re-registered in October to vote, but only as 2 more they would need to cancel out with dead people. Our thinking was the results were already determined and only the legitimacy was in doubt.

My coworker mentioned earlier discovered politics in 2017/2018 and became quite passionate. It’s amazing what having a family, mortgage, and paying taxes will change. I haven’t spoken with him since the election but I wonder if reality has set in.

Like many, the only solution I see is to break up this blob of 300M+ people that don’t really like each other. As someone getting ready to relocate after retirement the geography of the new borders matters to me greatly. I don’t want to get trapped behind enemy lines, so to speak.

Given that I don’t think current state lines matter much courtesy of Lincoln and the centralization of power that came courtesy of his war, where will the lines be?

As silly as it may sound, I am starting to think that the lines will be culture oriented and the current NCAA school divisions provide a starting map. Big Ten, SEC, ACC, Big 12, Pac 12 conferences all have a footprint that is roughly culturally homogeneous.
