Top DoJ Voter Fraud Investigator Quits After AG William Barr Authorizes Probe

Via ZeroHedge

Update (2140ET): In response to AG Barr’s decision, NYTimes reports that Richard Pilger – who oversees voter fraud investigations – has quit:

“Having familiarized myself with the new policy and its ramifications… I must regretfully resign from my role as director of the Election Crimes Branch.”

Does it not seem odd that when asked to investigate voter fraud, the gentleman who is in charge of investigating voter fraud chooses to resign rather than do his f**king job?

Perhaps it was his alleged involvement in the Lois Lerner IRS targeting Tea Party groups debacle that triggered this resignation?

In a day when numerous lawsuits were filed challenging the outcome of the presidential election, and when prominent Republicans such as Mitch McConnell finally came out in support of Trump’s contention that the election was rigged, late on Monday Attorney General William Barr authorized the Justice Department to launch a probe into “substantial allegations” of voter fraud in the 2020 election, the AP first reported.

In a letter to US attorneys across the country, Barr said they could conduct investigations “if there are clear and apparently-credible allegations of irregularities that, if true, could potentially impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual state.”

According to the Washington Times, this is an unusual move, since Justice Department policy prohibits any action that could influence the outcome of an election until the vote is formally certified. But the Justice Department is responsible for ensuring the integrity of federal elections.

Barr’s memo comes days after presumptive President-elect Joseph R. Biden was declared the winner by several media outlets in the 2020 presidential election. President Trump has not conceded and has launched several legal efforts challenging the results in states where the voting margins are razor-thin. By granting prosecutors the power to pursue such cases, U.S. attorneys around the country could give Trump more ammunition for his lawsuit.

The DOJ’s action, which many republicans will claim is long overdue, comes after Republicans in recent days turned up the heat on Barr to take some action in response to the voter fraud allegations. Earlier on Monday, Barr reportedly met with McConnell on Monday.

On Friday, nearly 40 Republican members of Congress sent a letter to the AG asking him to get to the bottom of the voter fraud claims.

“What are you doing to ensure the integrity of the voting and counting process right now?” the Republicans asked Mr. Barr in their letter. The lawmakers also called on the attorney general to commit to “using all the resources” at his disposal to ensure only legal votes are being counted “in a fully transparent manner.”

Also last week, the Nevada Republican Party sent a criminal referral to the Justice Department claiming they have received reports of at least 3,062 instances of voter fraud in the battleground state.

“We expect that number to grow substantially,” the party said in a tweet. “Thousands of individuals have been identified who appear to have violated the law by casting ballots after they moved from NV.”

The Trump campaign has filed lawsuits in several key battleground states that Biden won, asking local judges to either invalidate or stop counting mail-in ballots, a record number of which were cast this year amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier in the day several prominent Republicans backed Trump’s claims of voter fraud or his right to challenge the count, including Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell:  “Obviously no states have yet certified their election results. We have at least one or two states that are already on track for a recount and I believe the president may have legal challenges underway in at least five states,” McConnell said during a floor speech Monday.

The Trump admin has also accused local election officials of not allowing their representatives to watch vote counts and claiming illegal votes were cast in states including Michigan, Nevada and Pennsylvania.

“You don’t take these positions because you want an honest election,” White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said during a press conference on Monday. “What we are asking for right now is patience as we explore these equal protection claims among others.”

As a reminder, states have until Dec. 8 to resolve election issues, including recounts and legal battles. The Electoral College members meet on Dec. 14 to finalize the outcome.

They keep asking for “proof,” and all Trump et. al. gives them is proof after proof, yet they still keep asking for “proof.”

What is Pilger doing still drawing a pay check in the justice department . He is an Obama/Holder hanger on that Trump or Barr should have sent packing off to CNN or MSNBC where he can continue to be a worthless piece of shit but on someone else’s dime !

What makes this election different than any other? Well, I don’t think there are too many people who believe vote fraud hasn’t happened before.
But, it seems the Dems may have kept it to more regional races on a State level. This time, their shenanigans started early via the Covid-1984 fuckery. This is backfiring on them in a most spectacular, shit-infused way.
The left has always allowed the sheeple to believe Trump is an idiot. He is not. Abrasive? Yup. Coarse? Most certainly. But stupid? Not even close.

We have the past 4 years of the Russian mantra being chanted like some demented members of a Hari Krishna branch, hoping it would lay waste to The Orange Man. It did not.

So, the brain-trust that is Pelosi, Nadler, Schiff, et all, saw a fantastic, orgasmic opportunity to finally bring him down. Mail in voting! I can imagine them all, quivering with excitement and pleasure, whilst they gleefully laid down their plan over their meal chef’d up by Maria Abramovich.

The Achille’s heel of these people is, has been, and always will be math and statistics. They run on fantasies of a communist paradise coupled with A Brave New World and some 1984 sprinkled in.

In the history of all we know, these societies never work and always end badly. Jesus ain’t here to feed the masses with a couple of perch and some dinner rolls from Panera.

They are now trying to figure out how their truly ill-planned scheme went awry. From 3am vans CLEARLY MARKED “Biden Harris” unloading ballots, to the corpses of who knows how many dead people voting, things look pretty bad.

Now there are people with an IQ higher than the dirty socks under a teenage boy’s bed that have this thing called “statistics”. The statistics of how mail-in votes were processed is pretty damming. It shows a pattern of mail in votes being brought in well after polls have closed, yet magically these are all Biden. Some even only Biden, with nothing else down-ticket filled out.

For anyone who cares to make any kind of effort at all, you can find video of various Dem poll workers putting up paper and cardboard over poll site’s windows. Nothing to see here folks. Really. Move along. People who are allegedly 120 years old voting. We would love to see these people on The View or maybe Dr. Oz explaining the secret to their longevity. Maybe it’s the water in Philly. Republican poll watchers being either denied access or kept so far away from the counting you would need the Hubble Telescope to see what they are doing.

Lastly, anyone under 40 might not have a good grasp of how the Electoral College works, but this particular soiree of mendacity and grift is the exact reason why we have it.

These next few weeks will continue to be The Great Unraveling for one of the biggest scams ever perpetrated on a populace. Orson Wells wept.

Andrew McCabe back in the news as he is going before a Congressional commission again.
McCabe is on record as saying the FBI decided to go after the Russian interference with US elections. Well, here’s a thought. Instead of promoting the idea of Russian meddling, how about going after Americans instead?
The Americans meddling in US elections would be his friends, the Democrats.

Pilger supposedly resigned because the federal government is going to probe state and local level election fraud. Well hell, if the feds had been paying proper attention these last 50 years (like we thought they were already doing), maybe they could have stopped state and local level election fraud a long time ago!

Surprised nobody mentions that Pilger was named along with Lois Lerner as the responsible parties, when the Obozo administration unleashed the IRS on conservative and tea party organizations with harassment and audits.

Maybe they have enough evidence on this prick, showed it to him, and showed him the door.
Resign, or get fired and face prosecution, would be my bet, but then, that sounds too much like 4D chess. Silly.

Holdovers are the definitive rats infesting all levels, and, as is typical with large swaths of vermin, eradication is never quick, easy, or ultimately successful completely.

But, I’m sure a few more who roam the platform will blame their usual target, for not brooming holdovers sooner.

Donald Trump junior tweeted about how offended he was that Lois Lerner’s co-conspirator was in charge of election fraud prosecution. But he declined to mention that it was his Father’s administration that left him in charge of it. Heck, even when Pilger ‘quit’ he just left the position, he is still getting a paycheck as an employee of the DOJ. How does someone quit and still have a job? Only ‘public servants’ can get away with that crap.

Trump’s greatest failing has been his selection of personnel, and unwillingness to drain the swamp. Now the swamp is biting back in myriad of ways, but Trump can’t really blame anyone else but himself. Trump himself never said ‘lock her up’…that was rally goers, not POTUS, but he sure as shoot said he would drain the swamp, and printed up signs that said promises made, promises kept, but he didn’t drain the swamp, and that is his biggest problem.

At every weekly cabinet meeting, every department head should have had to report on how many holdovers and people who opposed the direction and policy laid out by the President they served had been fired that week. And it should have been an embarrassment for even the smallest of cabinet departments to report less than a few dozen per week.

Mr. T did say though that if he were president HRC would be in prison. That was in response to something she had said about “If you were president…” at one of their debates. I can’t wait to see that one kept.
