Wow! I’m not sure how my daughter is going to make it. She’s not the compliant type. 18 months into her nursing profession. Last year when she started she would have been disciplined for wearing the same mask all day. Now they give you 2 fit tested masks and you wear one all day turn it in, they “sanitize” it while you switch it out for the other one.

FYI. The CDC changed the Covid test to a cycle threshold of 40 in October, from about 30. This DRAMATICALLY increases the chances of false positives (by a factor of almost 100). Most virologists consider a cycle threshold over 35 to be invalid.

My 27 yr old step-son does body work (mostly painting). Monday he went to work and couldn’t smell the paint chemicals or taste his coffee. But no other symptoms. He took a PCR test. It took 3 days to get the results which were negative. . He still can’t smell or taste. My nurse daughter said they should have re-tested but they didn’t suggest it. He went back to work today.?

What I don’t understand is why people get tested. I mean, yes get tested if you are on your way to the ICU or hospitalized. But otherwise, what is there to gain? There is lots to lose if your health official is a man in a dress with a sadistic penchant for punishing the little people.
With most any other illness or malady you doctor suspects a diagnosis and orders a test to confirm. People don’t just get X-rays or CT scans unless there is a reason.
I believe that some people are so fucking weak that they will experience ghost symptoms (can’t smell or taste) because they are so easily manipulated psychologically. Oh, some of these ppl are just plain old hypochondriacs I’m sure.
