I thought Brexit already happened. Britain needs to trade with the world and the world needs to trade with Britain. Any efforts to thwart that are going to fail eventually. The EU is slowly dying. Harming consumers throughout the EU by keeping them from being able to purchase their favorite British goods is only going to worsen the problem.
You are right. We have already left the EU. Currently coming to the end of the transition period when we have been under EU rules while TPTB fudge some sort of trade agreement. Which will be meaningless whichever way it pans out. We have already agreed terms with Japan, which as they are signatories to the TPP, means we get locked in regardless.
Boris, our cowardly ‘leader’, has called a lid and in hiding just like Biden. Claiming he is in 14 day quarantine because our wonderful Track and Trace System said he’d been in contact with a MP who had tested positive for C-19. Despite having had C-19 himself (allegedly) and testing negative he insists he has to follow the rules. He’s just making it up as he goes along. They all are!
