Diaper Report

Guest Post by Eric Peters

I parted ways yesterday with a friend of more than 20 years’ standing over his sickness – and my refusal to indulge it or even pretend to ignore it.

This ex-friend says I should don the Holy Rag because “I might be asymptomatic” and because I ought to “show a little respect for your fellow man” and that “It’s not all about you.” He added: “Grow your own food and you don’t need to interact with people. But if you want the benefits of society you have to participate and conform a bit.”

Italics added.

So I said good-bye.

I “have to conform a bit”? I am obliged to literally show that I (supposedly) agree with the outrageous assertion that I might be sick – i.e., “asymptomatic” – and so present an ongoing, never-ending threat to other people that requires me to wear a Face Diaper – the religious vestment of the Sickness Cult – to assuage their fears?

I attempted to reason with this friend. It was like attempting to discuss Euclid with a rooster.

“I’m not sick,” I texted him.

“I’ve had two friends die from it,” he texted back. “And several still sick.”

Me: “Well, I’m not sick. Therefore, I cannot transmit sickness. Therefore, wearing a rag over my face serves no medical purpose.”

Him: “You might be asymptomatic.”

Me: “Okay, so you are saying that the possibility I might be sick – even though I’m not coughing or sneezing or manifesting any symptoms of sickness and so there is no evidentiary/specific reason to suppose I am in fact sick, much less contagious – obligates me to act as if I am in fact sick and contagious and to literally put on something as a ‘protective’ measure, just in case and to ease your fears?”

“In that case, why shouldn’t you be obliged to turn in your guns (my ex-friend likes guns) since many people are quite terrified of them and fear you might use them to harm them or someone they care about?”

“If my fear that you might be – or do – some thing is enough to impose an obligation on you, then how do you feel about being made to wear an armband or similar highly visible item indicating that you are gay (my ex-friend is homosexual) and thus a potential transmitter of AIDS?”

“The fact is you could possibly transmit AIDs. You might spit on me. You might rape someone. These are just as possible as ‘you might be asymptomatic’ ” . . .

He didn’t like that much – and that was the end of the texting and the friendship.

I do not mourn the loss.

Because I understand this person is not and may never have been my friend. A friend doesn’t threaten violence nor countenance its threat. Yet that is precisely what my ex-friend advocates – in a mewling, gas-lighting way – when he urges me to “wear a mask” to “show a little respect for (my) fellow man” and then says I am obliged to “conform a little bit.”

He means obey. And not merely obey.

I must agree.

I must show that I agree . . . by wearing a visible accoutrement of agreement.

Like the wearing of an armband, in another time.

To not wear the armband then – or the Holy Rag now – is to give visual evidence of non-agreement and that is what these creeps cannot stand.

Not that we are “asymptomatic” and might be plague carriers but that we disagree with them. That we do not share their virtuous hypochondria and by showing that we do not share it show contempt for it.

My now-ex-friend supports my being made to “conform a little bit” – and you, too. They will cheer when we are hounded by the Gesundheitpolizei for not wearing the Holy Rag and – soon – refusing to allow ourselves to be injected with god-knows-what. They will support our being excommunicated from life – not allowed to transact business, buy food.

“If you want the benefits of society you have to participate and conform a bit.”

Such people are no friends of mine.

The words attributed to Edward I – the “longshanks” – come to mind: “A man does good business when he rids himself of a turd.

Eric, It feels good to lighten the load. Those who have eyes but refuse to see, want to keep those with a mind as dumbed down as they. I am happy for you and your decision.

“Dumbed down” is an excuse assuming that the foolish posture was somehow induced by others: nope. It’s a personal choice, made with free will. Think Dracula: “Welcome to my home. Enter freely and of your own will”. That’s what they’ve chosen and you’re well rid of them. That’s what it’s come down to.

Bygones be bygone, I too refuse to wear the UNholy-Rag and care not what others think. Good for you to air out that dirty laundry who needs that rubbish, you cannot reason with the unreasonable. This farce has gone on long enough. I have not donned the UNHOLY- Rag for a year, and have not been sick or even feel sick at all, AND am over the age of 50. I believe Ron White said it best ” you cannot fix stupid” so your decision was right on. Amen!

And here’s the thing , these obedient fear maskers think of themselves as virtuous , instead of the cowardly compliant fools that they really are.

Masking is a cult.
My 86 year old aunt, who has some health problems fairly typical of a woman her age, and who lives next door to me, buys into the mask nonsense hook line and sinker.
However….she will pull it away from her face because she says it feels like she “cannot breathe”. And so the very act of pulling it away from your face negates the thing you are trying to prevent (as if it could).
Yet pointing out that fact is met with a blank stare and the human equivalent of the blue screen of death.
My 29 year old cousin, her granddaughter, who is pregnant and the picture of health, wears the mask. When asked by me why, she says “to keep from getting Covid”. Yet her husband works in a prison. And he comes home to her every night and I seriously doubt they wear the mask around each other in their own home. So who are you trying to stay safe from?
People I know personally, who are in serious decline health-wise due to very poor life choices like smoking, drinking, bad diet, etc etc are literally terrified to go to the grocery store for fear of catching Covid. Yet they think nothing of lighting up another butt, downing another vodka, swallowing another pain pill.
I know EXACTLY ZERO PEOPLE WHO HAVE DIED FROM COVID. NO ONE I KNOW KNOWS ANYONE WHO HAS DIED FROM COVID.
Yet the urban/suburban/rural legend lives on…so-and-sos mother’s cousins brother in law’s neighbor had it and now his teeth are falling out. What? What in the holy fuck are you even talking about right now. I feel like an army of yentas has descended upon our country to collectively wag their finger at us, while bombarding us with tales of tragedy, horror, and woe the likes of which the Brothers Grimm could have put in a book. Forget the troll under the bridge, fear the Covid. So far, from what I have read, Covid may cause loss of smell and/or taste, your teeth will fall out, your toes might turn black, you could forget who you are, it may cause agida, constipation, hives, itchy hair, flaky skin, eye spasms, janky leg, arm pain, hairy tongue, fingernail ridges, rash, hives, spots, pimples, spontaneous erections, lack of erections, increased sex drive, lack of sex drive, depression, mania, and most importantly, loss of job.
Then if you bring up how magically Covid has cured heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and a whole host of other ailments based on all of those things being way, way down, again…blue screen of death.
Numbers are not the friend of the mentally deranged. The mentally deranged, living like little bitty rabbits in their hidey holes, cannot be convinced the hawk is not only gone, but was never there in the first place.
You cannot show them that the number of total dead people this year is not really more than the dead people last year, give or take a few. Math is hard, and it’s even harder when you are afraid to even drive in your own car, alone, without a mask. Yet god only knows when the last time your Amazon delivery guy washed his hands after taking a whizz or possibly a shit in your neighbor’s bushes. Don’t worry though, he has on a mask.
People who I thought were rational, responsible adults are eagerly anticipating the day they can be injected with a rushed, barely tested, fairly secretive vaccine. These are people who shop non-GMO and make sure their soap is sulfate free, yet will gleefully line up for some chemical witches brew of which we have zero idea of long-term consequences for a virus with a 99.8 survival rate in the majority of the population.
People with organic cotton sheets and Britta filters. People who shop at Whole Foods, proudly buying fair trade this, and fair trade that. People who believe their cars are killing the world. People who feed their dogs better than most everyone that lives in Africa.
These are the same idiots who will willingly, and with zero question, allow someone to fill a syringe with a concoction that must be kept colder than Antarctica on a December night, and shoot it right into their one and only body.
You are allowed to shout, like a psychotic on parade, at anyone who is not masked, or inappropriately masked even. You don’t need to know if their mask was never washed, washed once, or brand new.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a bandana, neck gaiter, N95 or a roll of Charmin they wrapped around their face. The what is irrelevant. All you need to feel better is to not see someone’s pie hole of nuclear waste beaming out at you in public.
And really, isn’t that what it’s all about? Your feelings? Oh right. No. Sorry. Get fucked.

Nice rant Pup, but December in Antarctica is summer.

My daughter and her family had it and the one complaint from all 6 was the lack of smell and taste. Each of them had mild cases and mostly felt like crap for a week and then slowly gain back their strength over the next week. It sounded a lot like the flu to me and they treated it as such.

TN, you do know I write so people can laugh? Saying as “cold as Antarctica in July” just isn’t as funny. Plus, still pretty damn cold in Antarctica at night in December. The vaccine apparently must be kept at some ridiculous temperature -70 degrees Celsius, which is about -94 degrees Fahrenheit. There is no where on earth that reaches that temp naturally. The coldest ever recorded was -74 degrees F.
Just like hair cannot be itchy.
Glad your family had a mild case and recovered.

I have lost total respect for about 80% of everyone I’ve ever known over this. This is some bad ju-ju.

I eliminated 3 friends in 2020. 1 black friend, 1 white friend and 1 hispanic friend. See, I’m not wayciss.

I am watching with some amusement the goings on in the US. I copped a lot of flak re the Oz happenings. Those happenings were of course outrageous and should never have happened. But the ramping up of measures in the US is equally outrageous, and will likely get worse.

Unless of course you all agree to take the vaccine! I will watch and wait to see how that goes.

I am still waiting to see if all those revolutionaries who post will take action: “don’t cross this line! Ok ok, don’t cross this line! Don’t steal an election! That is the final line! Ok ok, steal an election, but do not make me wear a mask, that is the final line and I mean it! Ok ok I will wear a mask, but no vaccine and I am serious this time!”

By now it should be clear to all that the vast majority of Americans will fall right in line without so much as a whimper.

Voting down will not change the truth of it. The vast majority of US people are going to meekly toe whatever line the govt and it’s enforces draw.

If people were going to resist, they would have done it, and would be doing it by now. But so far, the sound of crickets is all that can be heard from the masses.

Maybe it’s crickets and maybe it’s not, I guess we’ll see.

I feel really sorry for people living where they must comply or go hungry. His friend was right about one thing, he should be growing his own food.

HSF, any reports from family, friends and/or Burning Platformers on the efficacy of your Fire Water? I made the concoction about a week after you posted your recipe. I still have it in the fridge. What is the “Best by” date?

I had a co-worker who raised rabbits and discovered he could take the droppings and use them to raise worms. The dropped rabbit food, poop and straw made for great bedding material. He went from selling rabbits on the side to also selling worms and that grew into a potting soil business.

That’s funny. I just listened to the most recent Legalman’s “The Quash”podcast and he talked about losing a long time friend because his friend was sooo brainwashed. He felt he didn’t need friends like that. I totally agree. The times we are heading into now will require us to find our own tribe. A NEW tribe in many instances!

I have not worn the face diaper at all and so far no ugly confrontations. But when I see other open faces I make the effort to speak and praise their courage. It always brings smiles and usually an interesting conversation. Too bad the “home of the brave” is so damn full of cowards and obedient sheep.

I now shun a friend who has drunk the Biden kool-aid.
I feel very strongly that he was indoctrinated by his leftist girlfriend. He has always let women dominate him though.
As far as the mask thing goes, well, my job requires it but it comes off and stays off when I put the key in the ignition at days end and I blow past the Walmart lady offering the free mask.
I’m still looking for an online seller that makss.them out of mosquito netting.

Joe – I took one of the blue surgical masks and cut out the lining. If anyone looks, they can plainly see my mouth and nose. When forced to wear one, I pull it out, dirty as it is, and put it on. As soon as I pay, it comes off and I head home.

My county does not require them and just this week, I went into the Circle K at lunch. About 3 dozen people in the store and less than half were diapered. Same thing with the local grocery store, but if you go to the chain stores, they all have mask nazis waiting to accost you at the door.
