I use firefox and the image is displayed in the e-mail but nothing in the actual link or on the TBP website. When viewing on my phone, the pictures, twats, etc. all show up.

If you are browsing in Firefox private browsing mode this can happen. Copy the link location and load it in non-private mode. The problem has to do with blocking tracking cookies (most probably).
Simply put, if you’re viewing the post, and befuddled, the explanation is simple.

If you’re using a web browser that has script blockers you may not see anything but “Image” where the graphic link should be.
Right click mouse to “View Image”. If you’re using a script blocker make sure “theburningplatform.com” is marked as trusted.

Government day prisons masquerading as educational institutions is what happened. Sadly, far too many private schools follow the same misguided approach to education as the government versions (with Montessori being a notable exception). Thankfully homeschooling, unschooling, and similar “out of the box” approaches to fostering the growth of the developing human brain, are gaining footholds, and the criminal government response to Covid did a lot to further their growth.

My grandson lost interest in school when he told the teacher she had pronounced the river Thames incorrectly. (She made it rhyme with James.). She took offense. I think it was about 6th grade.
The Thames River in New London, Connecticut IS pronounced that way.

I had the opportunity to see many wonderful speakers while at college. The absolute best was Hans Bethe who shed a lot of light on the atomic bomb development.

By far the worst was Carl Sagan. Instead of grand talk about pursuing dreams and imagination, he was a bitter, self-important, atheist that knew he was approaching the end because of cancer. After 30+ minutes of listening to nothing but attacks on religion and pursuit of the divine we cannot see, I walked out.
The only speaker I ever walked out on.
