Last night on NPR some reporterette was breathlessly explaining how Biden had put John Faux Kerry in charge of ending globull warming, with Obama’s head of the EPA, Gina McCarthy, in place to implement their plans. This reporterette was proudly spouting facts about how much CO2 is from cars and from industry and how much global warming is affected by escaped methane – a by-product of drilling for natural gas. If you think climate change is a problem (sounds more like an opportunity to me), she was good at dutifully reporting the causes. What they cannot get through their thick heads is that unless they want to radically expand nuclear power – which they don’t – none of their “renewable” energy can replace fossil fuels. Solar and wind only work at the margins, when you can sell it into an existing grid. By definition, it can’t be more than 5% of total energy production.
So I’m not worried about their plans because they are simply impossible.
