A collaboration of: “The Classic Music Mafia”
nkit, Austrian Peter, and Steve C.
Every Sunday morning we present selections for our TBP family to enjoy.
We present symphonies, ensembles, quartets, octets, etc.
Not all of our music is strictly ‘classical’. We may stray a little, but we strive to make all of our selections ‘classy’.
We offer tips on proper ‘symphony etiquette’ and even some selections that are a bit light-hearted and fun aimed at a younger audience. Those pieces will be so designated, and might be a good way to introduce kids to a world of music that they might not have been exposed to or think of as old and ‘stuffy’.
A full symphony will run as long as it will. We don’t want to cut a symphony short. However, we also include some shorter pieces that we try to keep under fifteen minutes in length. You can sample each and hopefully find one or more that pleases you.
We hope that you enjoy our Sunday selections.

The Classic Music Mafia – Adding some class to this joint one Sunday at a time.
Heaven help us…
Thanks gentlemen and a very nice contribution from Maggie, that was a beautiful piece.
Thanks Doctor and I agree with you. Maggie’s contribution was very nice.
Jim tells us that we have a good viewership although not many people leave responses.
It’s always nice to hear from you though…
You guys are always one of my first Sunday morning views…keep up the good work.
I take full credit for finding that lovely duet!
Wonderful selections, all.
Thanks TS.
We all do our best…
No mention of my contribution? Lol
Thanks, guys, with kudos to the Bootheel Gal for her submission. This is a stalwart of my Sunday mornings as I sip a cup of coffee and read the articles on TBP.
Keep up the good work. We really do appreciate it.
Thanks TN Patriot.
One of the best things about this site is learning from others about new music talent.
I am very familiar with Natalie MacMaster, but I have been listening to Alison Krauss a lot since Maggie submitted her piece. It really is nice…
I’ve been appreciative of Alison for many years, saw her in concert in Bend, Or about 11 or 12 years ago. Musically very versatile and a joy to hear.
She sure is…
Steve, I am a big fan of Muse and found this piece while viewing their song. A bunch of kids putting a classic twist to a rock song. It never ceases to amaze me the talent that can be found in our youth.

That’s great TN Patriot.
I’ll use it in our April 4th edition and credit you for it…
I enjoyed that very much, TN Patriot. Thanks for putting that up.
Very beautiful. Always nice to see very talented young NPOC excelling.
Another wonderful day of music!
