Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts
An attorney who is monitoring the trial of officer Chauvin has concluded that Minnesota officials arranged in advance Chauvin’s conviction. The attorney is not a member of Chauvin’s defense team. He is monitoring the trial because of his long-standing interest in the systematic destruction in America of a fair trial. The details follow:
Minneapolis paid a $27 million settlement with George Floyd’s brother in the middle of jury selection for Chauvin’s trial. In other words, in effect the city officials admitted Chauvin’s guilt prior to the jury’s determination. One would have expected Minneapolis to hold on to $27 million of taxpayers’ money until the jury rendered a verdict both for the sake of a fair trial and for the city’s budget.
On the eve of the trial, the district court granted the state’s motion to insert the charge of third degree murder in addition to second degree manslaughter against Chauvin. The consequence of this for Chauvin was made clear yesterday (March 31) when the Minnesota supreme court handed down a decision on third-degree murder while Chauvin’s trial was underway. My informant explains that the decision has the effect of allowing Minnesota to convict Chauvin of third degree murder without having to prove that Chauvin intended George Floyd’s death. In effect, the court’s decision negates the objective evidence of the medical examiner’s report that his examination discovered three times the fatal dose of fentanyl in Floyd’s blood and no life-threatening injuries. ( For the medical report see: https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2021/03/31/officer-chauvins-show-trial-will-bring-the-end-of-law-and-order/ )
The Minnesota supreme court draws a distinction between third degree murder and second-degree negligence manslaughter: “The manslaughter offense requires the State to prove that the person “ ‘causes the death of another . . . by the person’s culpable negligence whereby the person creates an unreasonable risk, and consciously takes chances of causing death or great bodily harm to another.’ ” State v. Back, 775 N.W.2d 866, 869 (Minn. 2009) (quoting Minn. Stat. § 609.205 (2020)).”
In contrast third-degree murder “requires an eminently dangerous act that supports an inference that the defendant was indifferent to the loss of life that the defendant’s eminently dangerous activity could cause.” Thus Chauvin can be convicted of third-degree murder because his knee on Floyd’s neck infers “extreme indifference to human life.” This makes clear the purpose of the eye-witness testimony I reported yesterday: https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2021/03/31/officer-chauvins-show-trial-will-bring-the-end-of-law-and-order/
In other words, the inference from knee-on-neck is Chauvin’s “depraved mind” indifference to Floyd’s life. Second-degree manslaughter carries a 10-year sentence. Third-degree murder carries a 25-year sentence.
It certainly looks like a state organized setup to make certain Chauvin is convicted. On the very eve of the trial a third degree murder charge is inserted and during the trial the Minnesota supreme court rules that third-degree murder only requires the inference of indifference to human life.
It is difficult to avoid the conclusion that the Minnesota establishment has decided to buy off Antifa and Black Lives Matter with officer Chauvin’s conviction. In the wake of last year’s George Floyd “peaceful protests,” parts of Lake Street in Minneapolis look like postwar Europe before the Marshall Plan.
Just as Pontius Pilate is believed to have turned Jesus over to the Jews in order to avoid troubles, it seems the state of Minnesota has decided to turn Chauvin over to Antifa and Black Lives Matter. We will see whether this cowardly and despicable act quiets trouble or emboldens trouble-makers.

Pretty much a given that people have known for quite a while now that this will be a show trial only. The procedure is only a formallity to endure. There will be ‘peaceful’ protets regardless of outcome.
$27million?? I thought such compensation was based on expected earnings? Maybe that’s how much fentanyl the state thought he’d sell over his lifetime?
Chauvin will be found guilty on one of the charges to appease the grifters. I suspect he’ll get the book thrown at him again to appease the mob-sentenced to 12-15 years. Once things are in the rearview mirror his sentence will be appealed and he’ll end up doing 4-7 years, even though he should walk.
For his sake, I hope that is true
Do you think cowardly whites will do anything to support Chauvin? Hell no, just mumble under their breath about the injustice of it all while they shuffle off in their masks waiting for the next white to be sacrificed or killed.
Pussy white men won’t do shit. Including me. Makes me sick.
Pontius Pilate did nothing wrong.
Semantics
It was a joke, but what does a Roman have to do with a dispute among jews? I certainly don’t think he would have been ‘cowardly and despicable’ as PCRs metaphor perhaps implies.
Not, of course, that the event ever happened.
the jews did not have the legal right to execute someone, the roman governor did–
even though the jews advocated 4 it,they did not execute jc,the romans did–
something to keep in mind when you hear that the jews killed christ–
About 5 years after the crucifixion Pontius Pilate committed suicide.
Let us pray the Minnesota State Officials do likewise.
none of my mistakes were wrong either
they were my best teachers
Will the victim of G.” Fentanyl” Floyd be able to sue his brother for some of the $$$.
Whatever the verdict on whatever “throw it against the wall and see what sticks” charge results from this Soviet show trial Minneapolis and likely greater Minnesota will burn. Either from celebration or rage by the usual “mostly peaceful protesters”.
Target has had plenty of time to restock 65” TV’s and the liquor stores rebuilt, so a good time will be had by all
Join the discussion…here in greater minn we’re reasonably well armed:>:>
Perhaps New Mogadishu can institute the Islamic version of an autos-da-fé before sentencing is accomplished and the next round of mostly peaceful protests get ginned up. Chauvin will make a fine roast for the assembled faithful and the joyous mass & social media will be able to broadcast the incendiary celebration worldwide for all the serfs to see.
New Mogadishu…Perfect
rasmussen–48% of likely voters say he’s guilty–
https://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/current_events/police_brutality/48_of_voters_say_ex_policeman_guilty_in_george_floyd_s_death?utm_campaign=RR04052021DN&utm_source=criticalimpact&utm_medium=email
i’ve been wondering about what will happen if by chance he is found not guilty, or if an appeals court overturns the conviction b4 he goes to prison–
will biden send in federal persecutors the way bush did after the rodney king cops were acquitted?
he’ll get murder in the 3rd
that’ll piss off everybody
a perfect outcome for the club that clubs us
I think it is equally likely he will walk as hang. But the big question is how the media and BLM gangs react, and what the official story becomes.
Minnesota joins my list of places to stay the fuk away from.
In a ZOG government, Whites are cheaper and lower than slaves; TPTB burn one every now and then to keep the rest in line. Remember Nicole.
The fix is in. The chief of police just threw Chauvin under the bus. The $27 million, widely publicised, was arguably a masterstroke of jury tampering and could end up causing the whole charade to get tossed on appeal.
Getting any police to work under this chief may prove difficult.
This is inciting violence, why aren’t they being arrested?
That’s if you believe any of this false flag at all…
If you re watch the body cam footage and the main footage you’ll see things aren’t quite right…
Floyd with hair gets on the pavement and is now bald.
The “paramedics ” that arrived, weren’t paramedics, but rather Hennipen County deputies.
In one shot there’s a crowd, in another none.
The stores camera has the wrong time, same with one of the body cams. Which would never have happened since that’s used as evidence. Not to mention, the body can would only be in military time, and it isn’t….
Tons of inconsistencies.
So this trial is a joke. The appeals court would never have made another judge reinstate charges, judges don’t step on each other’s toes like that. And the appeals court would never have heard a pre conviction court case anyways.
This is a show for some people.
I find it nauseating and pathetic that no one is calling out the bullshit!
