QUOTES OF THE DAY

“Irony: Taking a 170-year-old envy-based “philosophy,” which has led to the murder of several hundred million human beings and the oppression of billions more, and calling it “progressive”.”

Larken Rose

“I believe in only one thing: liberty; but I do not believe in liberty enough to want to force it upon anyone.”

H. L. Mencken

“The State is the major enemy of mankind.”

Murray Rothbard

“Kid’s heads are filled with so many nonfacts that when they get out of school they’re totally unprepared to do anything. They can’t read, they can’t write, they can’t think. Talk about child abuse. The U.S. school system as a whole qualifies.”

Frank Zappa

All life being economics related I think students should be taught it from grade school onwards. My high school decades ago (going on 50 years) had a senior elective course that was named survival in the real world or some such name. But it basically just taught how to manage a check book and plan recipes for a week.
By the time students graduate from high school they should have learned almost the equivalent of what is taught in an MBA program. Along with sound nutrition in hand with physical training.
That would deflate the college industry as many decide to forgo that additional debt and work in trades or other skilled labor including agriculture putting their earnings towards their economic gain.
Of course this would result in millions of young people giving the finger to the system as they purchase small acreages for their hay bail houses or earth banked houses with south facing windows with their gardens and small animals.
This is most likely a pipe dream as the Marxist school system is designed to push most into college even if they don’t have the aptitude and are doomed to dropping out.

subwo- There is good reason public schools don’t teach students how finance, insurance or Wall Street investment really works. If banking and central banks were made clear at an early age, how hard would it be to fleece the public? They never intended a REAL education, nor on the college level. Profound stupidity must be maintained. The real secret is that God provided everything you need. There are still tribal cultures that have no need whatsoever for that thing called money.
