the only people they go after anymore are the people who would tend to defend not defund them, th e people who won’t riot and burn down their cities if they are stopped, in other words the non melanated ones.

Cop was culpable which means the taxpaying public is on the hook for monetary damages, but for God’s sake, after everything we’ve seen over the years, what makes people think that they don’t have to pull over when the cops are literally hitched to your bumper for miles with the lights and sirens on? Her behavior simply made no sense in the context of that video. The roads weren’t jammed and there was a breakdown lane.

For your own safety, just pull over, put your hands on the wheel and assume they mean business.

Pit maneuver.
Clearly this driver was a dangerous criminal.
As is any other driver pulled over by the police.
As such, she should have learned pit maneuver counter tactics.

Steer away from the corner of your car he is contacting and accelerate.
A pit maneuver essentially shove the back of a car into a skid.
Accelerating makes the maneuver more difficult because you are taking away some of the push. Of course your vehicle needs the power to be able do this part. If not, a well executed pit will spin you out.
Steering into the skid in the direction your rear is going stops the car’s rear from moving ahead and swapping ends.
Once the contact is broken, the car will start to correct and the rear will swing back in the opposite direction. At this point you need to quickly steer back in the direction the rear is now swinging.
Staying on the gas and steering in the direction the rear is swinging acts to dampen the fishtail. You might have to do this several times to get the car back on course. Whether your vehicle is front wheel drive, rear wheel drive or all wheel drive made some difference in how the car reacts. Rear wheel drive vehicles, particularly trucks which are light in the rear are a bit more tricky. Letting off the gas slightly as the rear swings helps, but two much will cause the rear end to be even lighter. It’s a pretty delicate play of steering and the right amount of gas pedal. Practice helps.
For someone who has practiced skidding a car around in a slick parking lot or driven on slick country roads, this becomes automatic which is what you really need to recover from a pit maneuver.
Personally, I think skid pad training should be mandatory for all drivers before they can get a drivers license. It would save a lot of lives.

Alternatively, an aware drive can see the pit vehicle closing on one side of the car, veer to the opposite direction enough to clear the vehicle, and brake hard and put himself behind the pit vehicle.
Immediately accelerate, and he has switched position and is now the pit vehicle, and can proceed with the pit maneuver on the aggressor. If the aggressor vehicle tries to brake after seeing this maneuver, immediately swerve to contact the rear fender and effect the pit.

Ok, this cop was an asshole and needs to be arrested and punished. But hopefully everyone realizes there must be a million fucking traffic stops every month and the drivers aren’t forced off the damn road!!?? The chances of anyone having this occur to them are slim and none and slim just left town.
