The Obsession of the Unhealthy

Guest Post by Eric Peters

There is an old joke about the fat lady ordering fast food. She gets a double bacon cheeseburger, large fries . . . and a diet Coke.

She probably just got the shot, too. She almost certainly wore the Face Diaper.

It is an interesting, almost mathematical axiom that the people most freaked out about their health are the people who are the least healthy in terms of their habits, which tends to render one unhealthy.

It’s less the ‘Rona that’s killing people than obesity, largely caused by eating “food” not far removed from flavored drywall paste (washed down with lots of over-sweetened liquid diabetes in an estrogen-leaching plastic bottle) and killing habits such as not regularly exercising, which increases the tendency toward obesity. Add some pills – and vaccines – to the mix and what you end up with, ta-da, is a population of vulnerable people who easily get sick – sometimes very – from what would otherwise likely be minor illnesses, if they even got sick at all.

The “science” supports this, incidentally. It’s just not discussed, much.

Who – other than the elderly – is most likely to die from the ‘Rona? Get your parking ticket validated if you answered, obese people. If you’re elderly and heavy then you’re in trouble – but it’s not because of the ‘Rona. It’s because you’re unhealthy – and the cure for that isn’t medicine.

Which by the way may make you even more unhealthy and vulnerable.

Put another way: If you are height-weight proportionate, exercise regularly and are careful about what you eat, your health is the medicine that will keep you from getting sick. This is an inarguable truth and far more “safe and effective” than the supposed palliative being really pushed on people right now – including, strangely, on quite healthy people.

No attempt at differentiation is made between people who need these meds-being-pushed like a fish needs a flea collar  – because they are healthy – and people who are getting sick because they’re not healthy. And no effort is made – officially, as via the “experts” – to explain to these unfortunate unhealthy that they would be much less likely to need meds (and not just the meds currently being pushed really hard) or even get sick in the first place if they took steps to improve their health.

Probably because there’s no money in such a cure – paraphrasing what the comedian Chris Rock (who is healthy, probably because he’s not heavy) said in one of his routines. The object is to keep you sick – so as to keep you paying.

This is not a new thing.

For decades, the reflex reaction of the American medical establishment seems to be to give them a pill (or a shot) rather than sound advice, probably because the latter doesn’t require a prescription – and a perpetual bill. Got high blood pressure? Here’s your pill. Many of these people are never told why they have high blood pressure nor what they might do to avoid the pill (and the bill).

High blood pressure just happens; it “runs in the family.” Never mind that everyone in the family is 50 pounds over-heavy.

The sun is healthy. Unlike Brawndo, which has electrolytes (maybe) the sun has vitamin D – or helps you make it, at any rate. And vitamin D is something very safe and effective insofar as keeping people healthy. But instead of encouraging people to go and be outside, the medical establishment joined the Fear Chorus enjoining them to stay inside, which almost certainly made them less healthy and even more vulnerable.

We know it made them even heavier. The year 2020 saw the average American gain what is popularly styled the Quarantine 15 – which is a funny term for something very serious. But Joe Biden isn’t sending Strike Teams door to door to “help” people understand the threat to their health (and let’s not forget the cost to taxpayers) that rides shotgun with being significantly overweight.

But then, healthy people are harder to control.

Medically, because they have less need of the sickness industry; of pills and shots and the cartel which has acquired the sole power to dole them out . . . so long as you obey (and pay).

Physically, because the people most immune to the worst side-effects of the ‘Rona – the face-effacing decrees, for instance – were those who didn’t have to go to the doctor’s office for something they had to have, such as their hypertension pills – which they could only renew their prescription for if they went hand in hat (and Diaper over face) to the doctor’s office. Those of us who had no need of doctoring had a much easier time avoiding the strange rituals that now attend an audience with a medical personage.

They are also harder to control, financially – because they aren’t on a serial payment for pills they can’t afford and “health insurance” they are terrified of losing (along with the job that provides it) because they are constantly needing pills and shots. It is astounding that  so few of them ever stop to ask themselves why they need these pills and shots – and what they might do to need them less, or even not at all.

Most especially, what life would be like for them if they were freed from all of that.

Great effort is expended to prevent such questions from ever percolating upward into conscious thought. Instead, heavy pressure to defer to the “experts,” who must never be questioned. The same “experts” who remain mute about the literal poisoning of the food supply, the appalling state of what is considered “food” and the easy, cost-free things almost anyone could do on their own and for free to mightily improve their health – such as going outdoors regularly and taking walks, often.

That ought to raise questions about the motives of these “experts.” But then, we might not like the answers much.

Freddy…as a general rule you’re right but I have an Aunt who is 85…about 150 pounds over-weight ( although she’s lost 35 pounds in the last two months) she has normal blood pressure, not a diabetic etc. She is grossly out of shape and can’t walk more than 50 yards without sitting down for a few minutes .

This was the biggest factor (for me) that proved something sinister was/is happening. I’ll admit when this shit show began and I saw people dropping dead from Chinese footage, I was thinking, “What in the hell…”

I came to my senses when we were told we needed to shut down and stay inside to stay healthy. No medical advice on getting sunshine, working out, taking vitamins, eating healthy, etc.

In Colorado, camping was closed down (the ultimate social distancing activity), and we were told not to hike more than 10 miles from our homes. One trail I tried to hike was about 20 miles from my home. Cops were at the parking lot turning people around if they didn’t live in the area.

After fat asses in grocery stores screamed at me for not wearing a mask and putting their health in danger, I knew I was living in clown world…not that I needed much proof.

Working out and eating REAL food has kept me away from doctors. Haven’t had the flu in at least 15 years and have never got a flu shot. The only exception is my asthma. I HAVE to see an asthma doctor to get my inhalers, unfortunately.

Recently moved and had to see a new asthma doctor. Walked into a waiting room full of patients with breathing problems ALL wearing masks! Now, tell me what sense that makes?? I refused and told them I can’t wear one, and that was that. Really wish I could find a way to manage asthma naturally so I don’t have to rely on a doctor to breathe.

Bottom line: that shit shot will NEVER come close to me. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason for it. I doubt I’ll get Covid, but if I do I’m sure it will be very mild.

Nice share Abigail, thank you. I also have developed asthma since I contracted Covid in January 2020. I had a dry cough etc for a month but finally got rid of it but have suffered lung problems ever since. I too rely on inhalers which I regret as I have no other health issues and have always been within weight limits, eat healthy food and take regular exercise. I will have a look at Rev6’s advice.

I read Penn Jillette’s book Presto, about his weight loss journey after being told he needed to lose more than 50 pounds within 6 months to be able to have weight loss surgery that might correct several of his health issues, or if he could lose about 100 pounds, he might not need any medications at all. He went on to lose more than 100 pounds in about 6 months. It was amazing how many medications he no longer needed once he lost the weight. It was also mildly humorous when he realized one of the unintended side effects of one the medications he was no longer taking was that it prevented hair loss.

The book reinforced that many of one’s health troubles would be resolved if they got their body weight down to a healthy level and under control.

I think of fat haters as health freaks. What do you care.
I’m not fat, or even chubby, but I smoke. I think nicotine has true health benefits- the smoke not so much. What do you care? Make it to my age with no health problems, or my grandfather’s who smoked all of his life (93).
The point is mind your own business, and keep in shape (mostly as as a lifestyle not working out), eat as well as possible, and enjoy life. What do you care if you live to 75 or 85.
You want them to leave you alone, leave others alone.

Guest…I don’t care what anyone else does about their heath. But, when an obese person acts like *I’m* a threat to their health either because I’m unmasked or unvaxxed…then they’re going to get called out.

Btw…my grandma drank beer and smoked all her life and lives on fried chicken. She has a slender physique and has never had any serious health problems. At 91, she lives alone and gets along just fine. I can’t explain that. She’s also mean as hell and will kick anyone’s ass if they’re bothering her. Tough as nails!

You are so correct. There is a lot of good information in a book written by Michael Moss titled ‘Salt Sugar Fat: How the Food Giants Hooked Us’. He details how fast food and snacks are ‘engineered’ through the precise amount and relationships between Salt, Sugar and Fat to addict people. Remember that potato chip advertisement “I bet you can’t eat just one”, that was an easy bet to win because the chip was engineered to make it near impossible to resist a second and third one.

From the Amazon review of the book here is this.

“What happens when one of the country’s great investigative reporters infiltrates the most disastrous cartel of modern times: a processed food industry that’s making a fortune by slowly poisoning an unwitting population? You get this terrific, powerfully written book, jammed with startling disclosures, jaw-dropping confessions and, importantly, the charting of a path to a better, healthier future. This book should be read by anyone who tears a shiny wrapper and opens wide. That’s all of us.”—Ron Suskind, Pulitzer Prize–winning author of Confidence Men: Wall Street, Washington, and the Education of a President

You’re just afraid one of these big-boned bison will trip and fall on you. stay away from the healthiest job in the world. (truck driving) I was in a room of thirty-plus people and I was the only one that was under 300 pounds. I met a guy who was so heavy the skin split open on his shins and he almost died from an infection. I always enjoy seeing folks at the grocery store that buy many cases of soda. With their fat family including young fat boys that have boobs. No frickin shame or common sense.

I told my girlfriend I was a fatist (it’s like a racist, but for fat people).
She said I shouldn’t be so mean to fat people.
So I thought about it for a bit.
And I decided she was right, and I was wrong, and told her so.
I told her from then on, I would treat the overweight and obese with the utmost admiration and respect.
It’s like this…
Fat people didn’t get fat overnight.
They spent YEARS building that body.
Years of dedication and commitment.
Years of hard work.
Years of focus and single-minded perseverance.
Even when others told them to quit, they labored on.
And what I was seeing was the culmination of that labor.
Like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Like Lou Ferrigno or Charles Atlas.
They should command my respect and admiration for accomplishing something I never could.
Surely, my antipathy was merely a reflection of my jealousy.

My logic was lost on my girlfriend, and thus endeth the discussion.

Yeah, yeah, I get it. The tone of superiority is palatable (ha food reference) however. Who else does this trick… I dislike health nazis of any stripe. That’s another reason this whole plandemic is so horrible because to get to facts you have to read ad nauseum about ‘health’.
People’s obsession about health (being overweight!!! Vitamins! Veggies! ). Is one reason they could pull this GLOBAL PANDEMIC.
I know some German descent people who live in the north who are pretty big but they are as healthy as horses. Being overweight/fat isn’t ideal but being a health nazi is worse.

Also you meet someone and notice they are overweight. Do you keep thinking this or go on to just communicating and forget it? If their fatness is all you see then you are the sick one. Doesn’t everyone have overweight friends and family? Just like my smoking I say at least my faults are very visible thus not as bad as the hidden faults.

I call really fat folks Oompa Loompa’s .

My stepson has an Oompa-Loompa girlfriend. The woman weighs 350 I’m sure of that. She has about 20 piercings and multiple tats. My wife said what does he see in her. I told her it’s simple, she has a pierced tongue and she fucks him silly on a regular basis . He just turned 21 and this is his time getting laid on a regular basis .
The sad part is he’s on the Dean’s list at school and is an all around good kid . I told the wife I don’t like the girl and for the most part I’ve let her know it . She wouldn’t let me hook him up for his 21st birthday with a stripper/hooker…the kid needs to learn there’s other women with “Certain Talents” as well .

I’m 62….I’m 6’2″ and weigh 217…the same weight as I was when I played football in High School . Being obese is a choice and saying I have ” Metabolism Issues ” is a fucking lie for 99% of the obese.
