I spent some time in Bosnia on IFOR/SFOR deployments and watched the OSCE/UN guys while deployed with elements of 1CAV. Nothing but contempt for them. I’d have no problem making blue hats invited where they weren’t wanted, or their enablers, vanish from the mortal plane.
Also had some words with one of my friends who did some time working in the international compound in Mogadishu with an intel/comms rig. He had some choice words to say about the Paki contingent. A neighbor used to provide pro-bono income tax preparation services for single moms and OTR truck drivers. For some reason or another he was visited by the IRS, who at the end of the day carted out all his computer equipment. I had noticed in the morning a large, dark SUV driving slowly across the street, then another, another, until 7 loads of agents all in their dark colored SUV’s were parked in front of his house and then got out all at the same time.
