I was sitting at a long stoplight yesterday in my local Blue Bubble city, minding my own business, patiently waiting for it to turn green even though there was no on-coming traffic. Had gone to Home Depot.
Then a carload of young guys (mostly white) and what looked like a white fat chick with blue hair shouting anti-American slogans with a half-burned American Flag duct-taped on the trunk of their car and a “Remember George Floyd” slogan spray painted on the side stopped next to me.
Suddenly they all started yelling, “DEFUND THE POLICE” beeping the horn, then the fat chick who was driving suddenly floored it and they took off like a rocket before the light changed.
Out of nowhere an 18-wheeler (one of those giant log trucks full of hardwoods heading to the mill) came speeding through the intersection and ran directly over their car, crushing it completely and instantly killing everyone in it.
For several minutes I sat in my beat up old farm pickup truck thinking to myself, “Oh man oh man…that coulda been me!”
So today, bright and early, I came out of retirement went out to the logging company and got a job as a truck driver.
LOL!
Mark…..If that were true it would be the most awesome poetic justice .
