The leftists know they can’t rely on the military and they are deeply worried about this fact. Hence their desperation to disarm citizens. For every rug munching kook like this so-called “soldier”, there are a hundred who will simply refuse to fire on Americans or will desert. We have all read tough guy nonsense by this or that member of the military threatening American citizens and waving the threat of the U.S. military crushing civilian resistance. All rubbish. The IRA, a few hundred chaps with a motley collection of small arms turned the most professional army in the world inside out for more than 20 years in a heavily urban area the size of a large U.S. county. The U.S. military will simply dissolve if it is ever used against the core population of this country. And God help any soldier who is foolish enough to “obey” illegal orders to attack the American people. Being disarmed, chained to a telephone, and burned alive is no way to go out, lads.
This is one I cannot resist. This young lady typifies the “social/societal contamination” that infects our military today. I completely understand that, as time passes, generations embrace their own view of social responsibility, hence each one leaves their “mark” … blah, blah, blah … and things change. One aspect of military life that has always struggled is it’s nature as a “closed society”. This is handed down through the ages, as the martial aspects of any society either characterize the entire society or was separated into a warrior class (Romans, Vikings , Greeks, Persians. etc.).
What we have today, I fear, is that many in the military have forgotten their role in society. Our approach is to maintain the warrior class separately from the general population. Notice the secure entry to facilities, housing areas, commissary, PX/BX, … the uniform. Separate. Once you put on the uniform, take the oath and assume your role, you have chosen to separate yourself from the general population and have joined a closed society whose role is to serve the duly established (by law) civilian authority. All this means also that you forfeit the right to express yourself in many common civilian settings, even though your basic rights as a citizen are maintained.
It is truly a privilege to be a member of this class of citizen. I say this as a military vet with 28 years of enlisted service (Active and Reserve). I learned more about my civic responsibilities as a Reservist than I did on active duty. I am positive I am not alone here on TBP.
To close, I need to say that I do not necessarily “convict” this young lady of an irreconcilable offense, rather I would look to her leadership for failure to educate her in her proper role as a member of the warrior class. I might also be interested in the influence of her upbringing.
All that said, she needs to shut her pie hole and stay off social media with this crap. She embarrasses her “fellow” warriors.

My S-I-L retired last year. he said that good men were being passed over for promotion as race , gender and wokeness took precedence.
Same as it ever was, only the inequities are amplified now.
When I was in, the Army re-organized and drew down certain job specialties which flooded my MOS with NCO material from other branches. Promotions became hard to get as the top tier of the enlisted tree became stagnant with lifers. It literally took me almost 8 years to make SGT/E-5 and I left after 10 years mid-career due to disillusionment with an organization more concerned with image than job skills or real knowledge.
They want stupid drones who follow orders. Independent thinkers are a threat. Men like Alvin York or officers like Joshua Chamberlain are for history books. They’d never have a peaceful moment in this new era.
How unfortunate. The inequities are the same as ever, but amplified.
As a former enlisted man from the ’80s and ’90s I can tell you political correctness and lack of original thinking among lifers drove me away after 10 years. People like Alvin York or Joshua Chamberlain would have an even harder time in this day and age.
The knowledge that a mind-damaged drone like this could be given a gun and some authority is disturbing. If she/it would threaten civilians it’s quite likely she’d be a threat to her own junior soldiers.
I get what you are saying but history does not support your position. It is true that in the initial stages of illegal action by a leftist regime (such as Biden´s) most cops and soldiers will obey orders. However, discipline will start to collapse fairly quickly. I’ve been pondering this since the usurper threatened to attack us with F15s, “their” bases are in our country.
