When Karma Comes And Kicks You In The Nuts

What have we in the picture below?  Well … an old lady all bundled up in her home, heating it up with candles burning under an upturned flower pot and sealing her windows with reflective foil.  BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN??

With blackouts looming, German government holds disaster preparation day, promotes ‘cooking without electricity’

Can you guess before reading the rest of the article?

Admin, it would be nice if you put the “Continue Reading” break here.

.

Well, it means Germany is fucked!

That’s an ad-notification by The Civil Protection Office in North-Rhine Westphalia. The state authorities are teaching the public to heat their homes with candles and get used to “cooking without electricity”, and also “how to heat homes with candles,  and  “stockpiling, extreme weather, power failure and emergency baggage.”

Is this in preparation for some event in the future?  No!  Germany is unable to power itself in the HERE & NOW.  Well, okie-dokie artychokie, why is that?  Because they are Going Green, Baby!  In fact, the German government plans on eliminating nuclear power by next year and coal by 2038. They will reply completely on Renewable Energy. What could go wrong?

Meanwhile, as of this writing, Germans pay the highest price per kilowatt hour in the world. And it will only get worse, much worse … how can it not? Pretty soon old women will be burning dried cowshit, and even their own dried shit, for warmth.

I LOVE IT WHEN LIBTARD BULLSHIT COMES HOME TO ROOST. Goddamned stupid Germans, maybe this will wake them up. But, I highly doubt it.

You know what’s really scary?  The Germans might get the last laugh if AOC and her Merry Band Of Retards ever get their Green New Deal implemented in ‘Murika.  You never know … it could happen. Won’t that be the shits?

Most city folks won’t make it. In the sticks where people know how to cut wood, plant a garden, having some goats and chicken, they could make it but then they are unarmed (very dangerous for honest folks to be armed in Germany even worse than in France) and the new arriving doctors architects professors etc… will crush them because they are going to be hungry.

You could probably handle the architects by herding them up against a fence like turkeys so they’ll smother themselves. Just tell the professors you’ll give the food to whichever of them is the most oppressed on the intersectional grievance scale. Watch the black lesbians fight the handicapped trannies.

My money is on the black Lezzies. When I was a kid there was some kind of ‘Sunshine’ program that imported black kids from NYC into our white ass upstate neighborhood for the summer. Man, even those ten year old black girls could kick ass. They were teaching us to put a bunch of nails through the end of a board and fight with that.

Most people “in the sticks” got rid of their wood stoves and replaced them with pellet stoves. Why? Because they are automatic! You fill the hopper with pellets and the ELECTRIC motor drives an auger to slowly feed the pellets into the combustion chamber to maintain a preset temperature. Go ahead and cut down a bunch of trees. I dare you to make pellets out of them. AND the unit needs to be plugged in! A few have battery backup, but the battery will only power it for about a day until it needs to be recharged. Their laziness will get the better of them. They think that I’m crazy for doing things “the old fashioned way”.

I have an old Vermont Castings stove – the type that doesn’t have any firebrick or catalytic converter that wears out and needs to be replaced. I cut, split and stack my own wood, and have 7 acres of forest. I can go the whole winter in an 80 degree house while the outside temps get down to -30. Oh, I have a LOT of practice cooking on it, too.

One last thing. No permit required to carry concealed here – true constitutional carry.

Amen about pellet stoves. I’m still cutting and splitting my own wood, but I suspect you’re needing (Depending on house size and how much you use HVAC) far more than the two cords I’m using.

I currently have about 12 cords stacked – 10 outside, two in the basement which is where the stove is. I use the stove for supplemental heat by running it when I get home from work and fill it again just before bed. I let it die in the mornings when I go to work because I don’t want it running when I’m not home (it takes a while for the fire department to get here). I run it during the weekends when I’m home, and generally use 2-3 cords a year. The oil burner is the primary source of heat, but I figure if things get bad enough that I’m not going to work and/or I can’t get oil that I’ll use 6-8 cords a year.

It sure is nice to have that stove cranking during a blizzard and the power goes out! I made a grill that fits inside, and grill up steaks or chicken over the bed of coals, bake bread in a dutch oven or cook up a big pot of stew or pop some popcorn on the stove top.

Hey Doc, talked to you many times at HSFs gatherings and pre day preparations. I have always had a woodstove and heated my own homes in NH. Cut my own trees, have a kick ass woodsplitter. Here in Virginia, I have a chimney but it is run with propane. Have you done any research if you can burn wood and propane up the same chimney? I’m thinking about either getting a wood stove insert, or getting an additional propane tank. Of course the damn bridge and road may warrant a propane delivery unconditional. But keeps the riff raff out! But cutting any trees will take down fences. Quandries. At least there is ample protein around here, everywhere.

Hey CO2,

You don’t have to identify yourself; I know your moniker.

Good stuff. My woodsplitter is a hand forged splitting axe from Finland.

As I understand it, it is a violation of fire code to share a chimney. If you ever had a fire, the insurance company would not have to pay out under such circumstances – even if it happens in July.

I didn’t want to risk it by sharing with the oil burner flue, so I punched a hole in my foundation (steel reinforced poured concrete filled with good ‘ol NH granite chip aggregate). What a bitch to get a 12″ hole!!!

I installed an 8″ (internal) Excel stainless chimney made in Canada up the side of the house. The Canadian certifications for chimneys are a hundred times better than the US. I can run the stove up to 750 degrees, go outside and put my bare hands on the chimney and keep them there. Very comfortable.

All of this is said to occur at the end of the Sixth Day, which in biblical terms is the end of the Sixth Millennium (a thousand years for a day).

Where are we now? Entering into the Seventh Millennium from the biblically recorded time of the creation of Adam/Mankind.

Any chance the authors of Scripture just made a lucky guess? Repeatedly? Thousands of years in advance?

California is supposed to shut down its two Diablo Canyon reactors in 2024 and 2025 (licenses won’t be renewed). Diablo Canyon provides (according to Wikipedia) 8.6% of California’s electricity. Also from Wikipedia…

In October 2020, experts at the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) warned that when the plant retires the state will reach a “critical inflection point”, which will create a significant challenge to ensure reliability of the grid without resorting to more fossil fuel usage, and could jeopardize California’s greenhouse gas reduction targets.

Shutting down nuclear in order to switch to renewables is like Michael Moore buying pants with a 29 inch waist so that he’ll lose weight.

Wood/Coal stoves ae still readily available and a ton of anthricite pea coal is cheap and covering with a tarp will preserve it forever. A ton of anthricite is a lot of BTU’s and is smokeless. Tricky to light so get instructions on the net while we have a net. We used to have a kitchen stove/oven/ water heater that burned wood or coal or propane. The propane burners were to the right of the wood/coal half and the oven was below the propane burners. A lever wourld direct the heat from the wood side to the oven or to the chimney depending what you wanted to use. The Amish still sell them but they are pricey.

the german megacorps are slightly more sneaky. they have for example bought up the lignite mines in greece and even several of the power plants that were built 50 years ago next to the mines. there is an endless amount of funny money being pushed to bulldoze mountains in greece to put up more of these worthless wind turbines, which are also expected to export power ultimately to germany.
not saying its gonna help them any when they really need it, but this is one more small datapoint on the thinking of these overlords. they really do think theyre extra clever and think they have everything under control. yes they have mashed a dictatorship onto the people for a while, but they have no freaking clue how to manage this complex system they declare they own.

When we had to make a choice between running power into our property or designing and installing a monster solar/battery/back-up generator system, the decision was easy. They cost the same and we went off grid. Sure it may cost us more in the long run because we need to maintain the system. Sure our property would probably be more valuable if we ran the power 3/4 of a mile underground to the building sites. But being self sufficient and being able to live off grid in exactly the same way as on grid is priceless to us. Our neighbors will lose power several times a year and we won’t even know it happened unless they visit or we go to town. Articles like this only worry me when I think about friends and family totally dependent on the grid. We personally will never be sitting in the dark freezing our asses off…unless Yellowstone blows or there’s nuclear war. But hey, we’re not interested in being prepared for and surviving EVERYTHING.

You’re right, off grid isn’t for everyone. We have learned a lot over the years. We learned to buy and install the equipment ourselves. I have a workshop filled with spare parts from inverters, charge controllers, solar panels, wiring, generators and other miscellaneous items collected and saved as we’ve experimented and perfected what we’re doing. We’ve already been at it for 10 years. It’s amazing how long quality solar components will last, and it’s easy to spot when you need a repair or upgrade. I figure we only need to make it work for another 20-25 years. We’ll either die on the property by then (preferably) or be in assisted living having sold the place. If assisted living happens, we’ll probably be back on the grid. 🙂

Germany is a weird place these days. I could see a downward trend when I went back to Baumholder in 2003/4 after coming back home in 96 from Grafenwohr/ Vilseck. Du siehst den Wald vor lauter Bäumen nicht.

And apparently they cant smell their own shit on their knees these days.

Auf wiedersehen Deustchland.

German Barbarians are rolling over in their graves.

ZFG, out.

P.S. I wonder what happened to the stunning woman I left behind in Fuerth in 1996. She was a looker, but she was also a wild Bavarian. Tschüß frau Alexandra.

Unfortunately, that’s what’s need. We need a great reset in this country. Not THE Great Reset, but a great reset to get back to the basics.

No such thing as green or renewable energy as envisioned by the terminally stupid. All energy requires fossil fuel inputs without which those so called sources of energy production cannot exist or function.

It’s like the wood pellets.
First you have to GRIND/CHIP/SHAVE to get the pieces consistent.
Then you’ve got to HEAT them to dry the wood completely.
Then you ADD the vegetable oil and MIX them.
Then you PRESS them into pellets.
Then you’ve got to HEAT them again … to almost 200 degrees to get the lignin to melt enough to hold the pellet together

Every all-caps is an input that usually requires fossil fuel.

And they often sell these things as “environmentally friendly”!

And they need an electric auger to feed the pellets and an electric fan to supply enough forced draft to keep them burning.

Two if by sea.

German people’s will turn this corner eventually. This winter’s event will be the starting gun. Don’t be surprised if it begets the Davos final nail in their commie coffin.
