Taiwan Informs Australia It’s ‘Preparing For War’ As China Sends Record 52 PLA Jets Toward Island

Via ZeroHedge

Taiwan’s Foreign Minister Joseph Wu in a hugely provocative interview with Australian broadcasting ABC’s China tonight program warned that Taiwan is preparing for war with China and urged its larger Indo-Pacific neighbor to help.

Wu said his nation will repel any coming attack, “The defense of Taiwan is in our own hands, and we are absolutely committed to that,” he told ABC’s Stan Grant. The interview is set for broadcast on Monday evening (local time). “If China is going to launch a war against Taiwan we will fight to the end, and that is our commitment.” He made an appeal to Australia’s leaders for greater support to Taiwan during the growing crisis and showdown.

“I’m sure that if China is going to launch an attack against Taiwan, I think they are going to suffer tremendously as well,” Wu threatened. It comes after Friday and Saturday Chinese PLA jet incursions into Taiwan’s air defense zone. Friday’s breaches saw 38 total jets fly toward Taiwan while Saturday saw 39.

Though Australia doesn’t officially recognize the self-ruled island, Wu appealed to leaders in Canberra as follows: “We would like to engage in security or intelligence exchanges with other like-minded partners, Australia included, so Taiwan is better prepared to deal with the war situation.”

“And so far, our relations with Australia [are] very good and that is what we appreciate,” Wu added.

China has already given a resounding ‘response’ to these latest provocative statements out of Taiwan, on Monday sending a record-smashing 52 PLA jets to breach southwest defense zone.

Reuters writes of the new Monday breach: “Taiwan’s air force scrambled again on Monday to warn away 52 Chinese aircraft that entered its air defense zone, Taiwan’s defense ministry said, the largest number to date reported by Taipei and the fourth straight day of Chinese incursions.”

At the same time Chinese pundits have downplayed the repeat aerial incursions, which are getting bigger and bigger, as but routine exercises that Beijing has every right to conduct…

Regardless the growing size of the PLA formations – particularly Monday’s whopping 52 aircraft – is an unmistakable ‘message’ and threat to Taipei from Beijing.

Without doubt, the increasingly large incursions which have seen Taiwan scramble it’s F-16 fighters and activate anti-air defenses – and ramped up frequency (almost daily at this point) – leaves open the possibility of a ‘live fire’ incident that could spark major war.

At this stage it wouldn’t shock me if the Aussies sent troops to Taiwan. To help the Chinese.

Let me assure those of you who fear war with China over Taiwan. The Taiwanese have been used by the United States for 70 years. Now is the time for them to suffer the same fate as South Vietnamese, Iraqis and Afghans who supported Americans. Those suckers are on their own. Strange how it always happens that way.

The US is no different from all the other nations that use proxies to keep conflict from their own shores. And, when expedient they can simply abandon them… shrug shoulders and say ‘oh well’.

But… Taiwan is the major producer of the semiconductor market. Everything these days have semiconductors in them. China captures or destroys that source would mean???? hint… China would then be the main supplier of semiconductors built by American ‘businesses’.

Rinos and demoncraps, communists, sell everyone out and is evident where ever they control things. This is the result of scum like the turtle, mcStains, shummers, piglosys, fiendsteins, they care not an iota for people or country.

Other nations are equally stupid to trust the US as well… just say’n…

The semi-conductors are a good enough reason to defend Taiwan. Our world falls apart without those electronics. The Chi-coms (but not the Chinese people) want world domination to stay in power. So we are going to have to fight them at some point might as well be over Taiwan. Then we will find out whether those trillions in defense spending actually bought anything good or just paid off useless twat defense contractors. China will make their move while weak Joe is in the WH before Desantis is elected. Sending aircraft over Taiwan is an act of war. Shoot the fuckers down. We should return the favor to China and release mousepox with a little genetic encoding for Han Chinese……100% fatal.

Taiwan Semi-Conductor is the most advanced chip producer in the world. Supposedly it is so significant that we will literally nuke it were China to take Taiwan. I own stock in it and I hope if TSHTF those couple of bucks I pay in taxes there every year will be put to good use killing commies if it comes to that.

That’s the point I was making also. Time to ditch “Let’s Go Brandon” and start running this place right. Cut government to the size of a bathtub but carry a big stick……ditch the toady politicians in favor of motivated citizens. We need to retake our government but also not get crushed by the Chicoms……a little mousepox will go a long way….plausible deniability and high consequences. Inflict real losses on our enemies……scorched earth domestically and internationally.

It’s a war of attrition. How long can Taiwan continue to scramble jets to ward off the incursions before human and machine fatigue degrades their forces?

On the money… a grey war…

Imo, part of china’s strategy is to bankrupt Taiwan, thru attrition, into submission. If they don’t have to go kenetic, they won’t. But if they have to, whats a few thousand soldiers lost… peanuts…

Whats a few million soldiers to China. My deceased cousin, William Collie, killed hundreds with a belt fed browning in Korea and they kept pouring over the hill. His belt feeder broke and ran when the gun failed. William ran for his life behind him and kept running even when a bullet hit him in the butt. Survived the war.

Vox Day’s take revolves around a record-breaking Chinese movie…

The film tells the story about how Chinese People’s Volunteers (CPV) soldiers held their ground amid fierce cold and the enemy’s more advanced weapons during the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-53).

A movie-goer who watched the film on premier day commented on Chinese social media Sina Weibo that after watching the film, they indeed had the feeling that Chinese people are not, and have never been, afraid of the US….

The CPC is clearly preparing the Chinese people for direct conflict with the US military….

At this point, it would be surprising if China didn’t publicly demand Taiwan’s submission before the end of the year. While it could all be for show, the time it has taken to prepare for this massive, multi-stage propaganda campaign tends to indicate otherwise. Unfortunately, the fact that the US refuses to back down and stay out of what is an internal Chinese matter makes it much more likely that there will be at least a few unnecessary shots fired before the inevitable plays out.

China is provoking towards this type of ‘accident’. Then the propaganda machine will go into over drive and the chinese will clutch pearls and proclaim they were attacked by Taiwan when they were innocently exercising their international rights to transit, just like the US does. Then comes the all out attack, justifiably of course.

Taiwan, on its own cannot defend itself for long. Japan and other regional players need to step up to the plate, or lose everything.

Holy shnikes, AL, you’ve never seen or heard anything about the inhuman atrocities the Japanese inflicted on the Chinese (and Soviets) during WWII, specifically at Unit 731?

The Chinese have very good reason to be intimidated by the Japanese: they truly throw out the rule book during times of war.

In just the past couple of years Japan told North Korea that if one of their missiles hit Japan, Japan would invade and occupy North Korea. Japan has quietly remilitarized and is even building aircraft carriers. Ex carriers, Japan has the largest surface fleet. With them they are absolutely a major Naval power.

Between China’s military buildup at India’s border, this, and whatever else combined with a ghost economy that’s starting to collapse this could be the beginning of a big blowout ending for them.

An awful lot of disinformation and rah rah hopium going on in this thread.
Let me remind you how China got so powerfull in just 30 years.

The Replocrat party and every last Shekel Shyster in the country sold and even transported every factory and industrial company in the country to Mexico and China beginning in the 90’s with Dole, Newt, Billary, GW Sr. Rush(Yes Rush) while bribing you with Fiat Shekels being printed day and night, causing the Dot.com bubble and collapse that stripped middle America of at least 1/4 of their wealth by allowing themselves to be herded into 401’s etc. loaded with fake dot.coms and real ones inflated to impossible highs. Enter Bush Jr. and 911 to distract us while the jobs and companies headed for China in addition to selling our tech. secrets to China by way of New Jew-Ruse-Salem who were allowed to steal our patents at will straight from the US patent office and those they didn’t use they sent to China.

This info is not secret and anyone could find it easily if they “Wanted” to.
