Four years ago, would the pilot have been fired for an anti-Trump rant? I expect he would have been made a hero by the media, at minimum.
SWA needs a new CEO-this guy looks like a good candidate to push back on biden and the gestapo tactics the airline succumbed to. Might be a good example for some other companies to man up and start doing a better job of “corporate citizenship”.
My guess is he knew he was out the door anyway, so he took the risk. Funny though. There was a time he could have gotten away with this.

To be clear, Tim Dillon is a comedian. This is a joke. He’s the brother of Seth Dillon, the founder of Babylon Bee.
Figured as much once I heard it. The interwebs would literally be melting down with libtard rage if something like this really happened.
Bad enough to hear their howls in reaction to a SW pilot signing off an announcement with “Let’s go Brandon”.

For general amusement,
I once had SWA flight attendant who did jokes almost on the same level, non-political of course:
“…although we never expect technical difficulties, in the event of an unexpected pressure loss, oxygen masks will drop from the ceiling. Immediately stop screaming, pull a mask towards you to fully extended the plastic tubing, place it over your nose and mouth, and secure it with the elastic strap. Put on your own mask first, before you assist children besides you, or other passengers acting like children.”
Directly after touchdown:
“On behalf of Southwest, we would like be the first to
welcome you to… … Oak… … … … …lahoma City.” [we had just landed in Oakland.]
“… We enjoyed having most of… ALL of you on board today, and we hope to see you again on another flight soon.”
I exited the plane with a grin on my face, on a Friday late evening after a long week of work!
I’m not surprised he got fired after this but he was pretty much spot on.
