Number 1 for sure. You can try to be polite because that’s what your parents taught you, but sometimes you have to say “fuck you” to politeness.
Kinda like when you see a person on the train and they give you the creeps so bad and you don’t know why. You know the feeling. The polite thing to do is ignore your gut and mind the advice that your parents gave you. The impolite thing to do is say “fuck you” to politeness and change cars.
